It looked better the last time I changed her dressing, I need to do it again today, so I'll see it again today. She sees the wound doctor tomorrow and then not again until after Christmas.

Today we see the wound doctor and get the results of the Ultrasound. This will be the last time we see him until after we visit my parents for Christmas.

How did it go today? Very quiet.

No blod clots. They have her on a new treatment Medihoney. I have to change her dressing daily now.

What does the new meds do? That's good news for no clots. How are you?

Not sure about the new meds, I guess it heals her wounds. I'm doing OK.

Well, lets hope they work quickly, as this has gone on for a long time.

It may be a chronic thing that we have to deal with forever. They are afraid that the arthritis drugs are slowing her healing or inhibiting it.

Oh no! That certainly is not good.

We just have to see what happens. At this point it's a toss up as to whether the infusion drugs are more beneficial than the wounds healing.
