The "Oh I Just Love It Here!" Trip Featuring "Besties!!!!" Nov.28 - Dec.2, 2008

Oh we have watched EE on youtube and I was prepared to go but, my DS heard the screaming and he said ...later...well later came and he said maybe tomorrow....the next day he said.....maybe next time :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: he would be so embarassed if he knew I told on him, truth be told I was okay not going myself, that mountain is huge. :)

I have never tried the cheese sauce, I bet it would be good on fries. Yum!

Continuation....:flower3:
It was starting to get pretty chilly and we were both getting pretty tired! As much as I wanted to watch Spectromagic and Wishes, it had been a long day and I wasn't up to experiencing the squishy feelings of the crowds on Main Street and on the bus when leaving the park! :crowded: I needed a good sleep, and Lauren had announced that she was very ready to head back to the hotel! So we took another walk through Tomorrowland, just soaking up the atmosphere. I had to stop as we walked past the rose garden. (the photo's not the best but I was awestruck!)

But!:p Before we left, I wanted to grab some photos of the GORGEOUS castle! This absolutely left me in awe! Though I had seen pictures online, it is nothing compared to seeing that sparkle in person....:cloud9: I could have stood there and looked at it all night. I teared up again. It may sound silly but I was overcome with memories of my family and floods of happy emotions! So I took advantage of the fact that there weren't many people around and we did a little photo shoot by the Partners statue!

Geez! You're quick!! :thumbsup2 That's what happens when I try to watch TV at the same time! Monday is my reality show night!

Well, maybe he'll get himself worked up enough before your next trip to get on EE. Just keep telling him how much everyone on the Dis loves it! Myself included! And I bet you would love it too once you get on! :)

You should definately try the cheese sauce on your next trip! It is fabulous! Oooh what I wouldn't give for some of those cheese fries now! Yummo!

And thanks again for the Pixie Dust! Your awesome! Hopefully I'll hear something soon! I have a good feeling about this! :) Now it's just waiting! Hope you guys are staying nice and warm up there! :goodvibes

Even our 'big boys' think Everest is pretty intense, so he shouldn't feel bad at all. Hopefully, you guys can brave riding it one time, just to say you have done it. If my friend and I go in March and she decides she wants to ride it, I will go just to be nice, but I'd be just as happy standing in the line just to take pictures and not riding at all. The one time I rode, I did a babyswap, so I've never seen all the cool stuff in the queue.

sunny_stace - Awesome pictures! The castle, as usual, is a woundrous sight to behold!

The Disney wedding pavilion would sure be a beautiful place to start a marriage. Jill thought about it, but the cost of having it there and then having people travel, etc. was prohibitive. We ended up 'Disneyfying' her wedding with Disney snowglobes at the reception, and it was very pretty. Also, the music she used was from the Disney wedding CD, and it was perfect. It was so pretty hearing just the music with no words. Sometimes you don't appreciate how pretty just the music alone is until you hear a CD like that.

great updates Stacy!

I love that you guys got on the resort monorail and just went with the flow, it makes your vacation so much more relaxing!

I too am a HUGE fan of the ooey gooey cheese at Cosmic Rays (personally, I thought your fries could use a little more! ::yes:: )

sounds like you had a fun night, the castle is so pretty. If only I could squeeze in a trip this year and get my free birthday admission....

And yes, I am expecting my wedding invite, the pavillion is so lovely!

Your castle photos are beautiful, they came out really well. It's hard to get those tricky night shots. :goodvibes

Great pictures of the Pixar Parade! Did you like it?

Unbelievable pictures of the Castle! I really need to get down there for the holidays!

It is very expensive! Whenever one of my friends gets married I start looking into it again! :rotfl: But with the way things are now I have a lot of time to save up! I imagine my real wedding will likely be a very small affair, but I have had my eyes on having it there since I was a pre-teen! Whether I can afford to actually do it :confused3 ....I know that my wedding will definately have Disney elements to it (whenever it comes to happen!) And....I have a bunch of the wedding album songs on my computer!! LOL! Just keeping ideas in mind...:rolleyes2 you're right, the music is gorgeous! And I'm sure Jill's wedding was amazing! :)

Save the date of December 1st then! I don't know what year or who it will be with yet though! But I have always wanted to get married on my daddy's birthday!

Oh and trust me...there was more cheese! I just dipped the fries instead of pouring the all the cheese sauce on!

I'm with ya lady, I would love to be able to get a trip in this year! I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya! And yeah, we tend to do little silly things like that - getting on the wrong monorail! Believe me, the two of us can get so caught up in something we're talking about we just don't notice! :rotfl: And it's no biggie! You can always go back in the other direction!

Great updates, Stace! Love the castle all lit up! Someday I will see that....

I'm sure you will Julez! It really is truly breathtaking! :)

Thanks LL! To be honest I don't think the pics are that great. The camera was brand new and I don't think I've worked out all the settings on it. I seemed to have the flash on super-bright so every fleck of dust in the air showed up! I'm not much of a photographer! But I tried hard!

Great pictures of the Pixar Parade! Did you like it?

I did enjoy the Block Party Bash! It's not really a parade though, it's a sort of show that just moves down the street, and then stops to perform! Which I'm sure I had read I just didn't compute it. The only thing with that is that you only see some of the characters until it starts moving again! But it is fun and very colourful and lively. Kids really seemed to enjoy all the interaction! :)

Love your updates! It reminds me of my best friend and I when we are at Disney :goodvibes I love your photo of the wedding pavilion. That's my dream wedding....of course, with that price, it will always remain a dream. :rotfl:

Hey there! It is great to read a trip report by a fellow Canadian, I am really enjoying it so far.

It is so nice that you and your BFF share a similar love for Disney, sadly none of my friends get it but at least my family does!

Can't wait to read more!

Hi! :wave2: Thanks for stopping in!
I imagine that wedding will have to remain a dream for me too! It is soooooo expensive! Plus, I still don't have a groom! Pesky men...:rotfl: But I do have more photos of the pavillion! I will not give up hope!

Hi! :) I'm glad you came over as I totally lurked on your TR! It looked like you guys had such a great time! See, I'm the opposite! Sometimes I think I must have been adopted. Since I've grown up, my mother has no interest in Disney!! However, Lauren has told me that she wants a few years off! She wants to go to other places! :rotfl: Don't get me wrong, I do too, but I'll just have to throw some solo trips in to WDW too! ;)

I hope everyone is having a good day out there! I promise I will update again soon! :)

You should suggest a trip to California, Paris or Japan, then you can get a bit of Disney in and still see other stuff. ;)

We have gone to California - that was definately not a hard sell! I don't know if I could ever get her to go to Japan or Hong Kong though I would for sure - I took 4 years of Japanese in high school (though, with never using it I don't remember much at all). Paris is always an option in the future!

I think she really has her heart set on going to England and Scotland in 2010.
Her family heritage is Scotish and English. And I too have some English in my background. Plus neither of us have been there before. Now, if I could get her to add France and Italy in there....;)

Sounds lovely! I too have always wanted to visit England and Scotland, so many beautiful and historic places to visit.

I have the same problem as you, I don't know anybody who wants to go to Japan with me although my brother Alek says he might go. Oh well, that is still several years down the road.

Hey guys! Just thought I'd let you know that I haven't done an update yet due to the size of my photobucket account! :guilty:

I got that irritating e-mail again telling me I was reaching my size limit...and I didn't want the pics I had already posted to disappear! And I have used up all the ones I had uploaded so far!

I'm just waiting for time to pass for now...:hyper:

But, coming up holds more park visits, dining, characters, MVMCP, and the Candlelight Processional with Neil Patrick Harris! :hyper:

I guess we'll wait around then. Do we get snacks for while we're waiting?

I had to upgrade on photobucket or we would never have been able to complete our reports. It's less than $4 a month, so it was worth it to have no issues.

I hope all that world travel really does come true for you!

I can't wait to hear about NPH. I hope he narrates again next year and that I can get to see him!
