Bumping for resort and room pictures! Considering a 5 night trip in December and would love more pictures from DISsers and I have found some WBC photos on other sites but the DIS is best!

Bumping and subbing...more pictures please! I am seriously considering staying at BC for our trip next June. popcorn::

I will be staying at WBC in about 2 weeks for 4 nights. If anyone has any photo requests feel free to ask.

Ok, I know it's taken me forever to upload these. We had our 1st stay at WBC in Feb and will be going back next Feb (3 months - can't wait!! :cool1:). We stayed in building #2, room #631. Sorry for the messy rooms - I forgot to take pics until the day we checked out!

Thanks so much for the great pics!!!

We are currently booked at a disney deluxe resort standard room for our November 9 night vacation and have considered moving to art of animation family suite or trying Bonnet Creek. How is it??? Is it as nice as the disney resorts?? I have always stayed at disney resorts or the Swan and Dolphin when hubby is there for work.
Any advise would be much appreciated!

I've stayed at AKL club level and just returned from a stay in a WBC presidential. Although we enjoyed AKL, our WBC presidential was nicer, about 4 times the size, for 1/4 the cost. So I don't want to get flamed but I'm assuming WBC would be a lot nicer than AoA. We had a large balcony, 10 foot ceilings, tile floors, cushy king sized bed, full kitchen. and so on.

A few thoughts: WBC has a real resort feel like the deluxe Disneys. 6 pools. 2 lazy rivers. Housekeeping is extra, unlike staying in a hotel setting at Disney. This didn't matter to us as I'm on a mission to run a tidy neat space and at WBC I had room to do so. The Wyndham hotel (Wyndham Grand) that is in the same grouping as WBC has a very convenient restaurant -- we enjoyed it. I'd describe it as good bar food at resort prices. WBC itself has no restaurant per se but has a pizza and sandwich type shop. We didn't try this. We did have giordanos delivered and had 3 dinners and 2 lunches out of it! Yummy.

Obviously, you'll have to look into transportation. WBC is across Chelonia from CBR (off Buena Vista near dtd) and closer to some parks than some Disney resorts. Parking is free and very convenient at WBC but you'd have to pay to park at the parks. There are pay shuttles but from my understanding it's more convenient to have a rental car.

Let me know if you have any questions. We really really LOVED WBC. Exceeded my high maintenance expectations, especially for the price.

These are great photos, thanks for sharing.
We will have a 2 bdrm in Nov. Not sure which building to request. Suggestions-photos?

Took a stroll around the resort this morning.

This is the main building, where you check-in.

Around lunch time, we visited the pool here. There were still plenty of lounge chairs available. Quite a few ladies were enjoying water aerobics in the pool area. Dd enjoyed the short lazy river for a bit. Changing rooms and showers are very, very nice here.

Another shot of this building:

Volleyball net next to building 1, where we're staying. A large family group was having fun here when we returned for lunch
