Oh my gosh!!!! Whoever posted the chicken pot pie recipe on page 3, you are amazing!!!! That was the best chicken pot pie in the world!!! DH raved about it, and my kids actually ate without complaining! There was a lot left over, so DH requested it for lunch today! Thank you, thank you!

I'm so glad you liked it! My girls go crazy over that one!! :sunny:

Today I'm going to make Asian Beef Noodle Bowls ~ YUM!! :thumbsup2

I'm trying a new meatloaf recipe made with Stove Top tonight. I've got a class tonight so I need to make something my husband can just throw in the oven or heat up. I'm not sure what I'll make to go with it yet.

I think we'll be having chicken quesadillas with the left over chicken from last night's chicken ceasar salads. We're trying to eat light, however last night's salad was seemingly not enough for Hubby for he followed up dinner with a bowl of icecream a few hours later. :confused3

I had this same problem the other night when I made the chicken and dumplings...my DFi loved it but he said it was not substantial enough...go figure...I even made a salad to go along with it!!!

Tonight we are having Navajo Tacos. Unfortunately, I don't know how to make Navajo Fry bread, so instead, I'm making scones from frozen roll dough, then we'll smother them in refried beans, taco meat (ground turkey), lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese and salsa. Messy, but yummy!

DH is on his own with the kids tonight as I have book group, so this will be a meal that everyone will eat. There will be a huge mess to clean up, but it's a small price to pay for some time away from the kids!

Tonight I am making pasta with a sauce of chunked up uncooked tomatoes from the garden, and lots of basil (also from the garden). Garlic bread and a salad on the side.

Last night was a quick meal because of Cub Scouts. We had broiled ham steak with a cherry glaze, mac & cheese and peas.

Tonight I'm making marinated grilled chicken breasts, angel hair pasta with fresh tomatoes/basil/garlic, steamed baby carrots and some green beans (straight from the can) because DS doesn't eat carrots.

tossed salad, sourdour bread with butter, cheese raviolis with marinara sauce.
Easy and freezing some leftovers. :thumbsup2

Dislifer, I like grilled bologna sandwiches! I haven't had one in ages. I need to make some soon. The kids would love it too! :)

Tonight we had a variation of shepard's pie. I had leftover roast and veggies. It turned out pretty good. :)

Yup! You gotta love those dinner that the kids like too!!! :thumbsup2

We had calzones and pasta salad.

Homemade pizzas and a cake I actually made in the Crock Pot--I found this recipe the other day and decided to try it out. The cake wasn't pretty but boy was it yummy!

Tonight I am making homemade pizza on a thin crust. Pepperoni on one side for my husband, black olives and sauteed portobellini mushrooms on one side for me :)

Nucpharm, was the cake Triple Chocolate Mess??

WFD at your house?

Today is going to be a crazy day...lots of running to do and then the girls have their piano lessons after school so I'm thinking take-out is in order! :thumbsup2 Chinese sounds good...we'll see where I end up, LOL ;)

Tonight is my night off from the kitchen. :) It's pizza night!

Do you guys get the Kraft Food & Famiily recipe booklet? My Fall issue arrived yesterday. It looks really good! It has 30+ weeknight winners, a section called: Let's do dinner fast- Our top rush-hour supper solutions. And it also has Fall desserts you'll love old favorites, new tricks. I want to try the Apple Pecan Cheesecake!

I made the meatloaf from the Kraft booklet last night. I wasn't home to eat with them, but my husband said the kids loved it. They both had seconds. DH said it was o.k. The cheesecake sounds yummy. I have a similar recipe for an apple cheesecake made in a springform pan, but this one sounds much easier. :thumbsup2
