The Official WestJet Question Thread

We booked and paid for our flight over the net, we got an e-mail confirmation. What do we use to get our tickets and where do we go in YYZ? :goodvibes

In your statement, there should be a confirmation number, you use that and photo ID to get your boarding pass at the airport. No tickets on WestJet.

Just bring your e-mail confirmation with you. It also doesn't hurt to bring the credit card you used to purchase the tickets just in case (never hurts to be prepared for anything.)

West Jet flies out of Terminal 3 at YYZ (Toronto). If they haven't moved since we took them in December, they're actually at one end of the Terminal (the end closest to where cars enter the departure area...ie, right when you get there).

FYI, an new tool for seat sales has been released called Get Set, and it's like Southwest's DING!

As well, web check-in is now avalible 24 hrs prior to departure for CANADIAN flights only.

Does anybody remember if West Jet or Air Canada had seat sales past December 15? All the seat sales seem to end on Dec 15 this year and we're travelling between the 10th and the 17th. We're going to Vegas this year (Character Warehouse here I come!) but I can only get a reasonable fare out but not back. I don't want to make the mistake of being anxious and miss a seat sale later.

Opps...just posted this on the wrong thread... sorry.
I just signed up for "get set" from West Jet. Received a notice already - Hamilton, ON. to Orlando, one way $129. CAN book by sept 13, fly by dec 15.

Does anyone know if WestJet is stopping its Hamilton to Orlando route in 2007? When I check on the website there are no flights available in May 2007 but they are available out of Toronto. I hope they aren't cancelling it because I like flying out of Hamilton.

As I recall from looking for flights last year, WestJet doesn't fly out of Hamilton to Orlando from May to Sept/Oct.

Of course. Just my luck! Thank you! :thumbsup2

Treehouse and Discovery Kids? Really? Last time I travelled on WestJet (Vancouver-Halifax in March 05) there were many channels but none were kid-friendly--hard on my 4 yo who hardly realized not all tv is kid tv! I'm not sure how that works--is it a stupid question to ask if we'd be able to get Treehouse when flying to/from Florida?
