I'm sorry to let everyone know the bad news, but I've confirmed with Ganz that the Curio Shop lists are fully-protected now by the Webkinz servers and can no longer be accessed in advance as they have been over the past year.

Accordingly, our WI Curio Shop tool is likely to be inaccurate until I am able to rework it to give some advance information, as best we can here at WI. Any historical information prior to February 20th is still accurate, but any future information or rare items and CSO items is most probably incorrect.

It is disappointing to all of us, but we'll do our best to figure something out for all of you!

I was able to get into the curio shop briefly earlier this afternoon, but now every time I try it logs me out It is still not crediting me point until I log out and log back in. I hope things get back to normal soon!

My dd has the sled stuck in the door of one of her rooms. It's so frustrating that there are so many bugs in their system. Kids don't understand when stuff like that happens.

luvdzne, if you go to the "Customer Support" area on the log-in page. Scroll down to where it says "I Have Something Stuck" you need to give them the name of the item and the name of the room where it is stuck. I had two items that were stuck for two months. I finally saw this problem listed and filled it out late one night this week. They had the problem fixed and the items back in my dock the next afternoon. Good luck to your DD.

I am so sorry to hear that we will no longer be able to find out what rare items will be on sale the next day. It is not always possible to be available to pruchase something I want when it is offered. So it was nice to be able to try and make arrangements for someone else to pick up something for me.

Curio Shop is still having difficulties. It keeps booting me out comletely when I try to get in. Also, I went to spin the Wheel of Wow and it said that I've already done that today! I hope they get these 'glitches' worked out. I NEED my last gem for the Crown of Wonder! Has anyone gotten it yet? I'm so curious to see it!!! Also an FYI, I played Triple Strike and it didn't give me my points, but when I went and did the Wishing Well my points were there.

When you buy stuff and tip him it moves you up in levels. Meaning he starts giving you more info on sales and rare items. I hope that makes sense. I don't know what level my dd is on as she is always tipping him and buying from him that's how you move up in levels. The last time I clicked on rare items he told me he would be having one that afternoon but didn't give a time or what it was. So I don't really find the info useful.


DisneyPHD...Maybe with there being an obvious glitz in the curio shop there is hope for your dd to get her crown. Definitely send them off an email. I had to laugh at her thinking he's in time out for stealing her gem. That is so cute!


Dznymemories...thanks I'll try that. I'll have to search through the gazillion rooms dd has to find which one it's in. She keeps buying rooms and they are all empty and she stopped naming them so they are all numbers.

I love the new Goober game in the tournament area! It's my new addition, I was up playing it until the site shut down for the night and kicked me off. I wonder if that's why I'm so tired this morning.

It worked in the beginning, but since then I've been told by Webkinz that they now have a dictionary. If the word is not in the dictionary then you cannot name that room that word. So now I have 'horse, cat, dog, duck...." insane!!!!

It's been 2 days since my DD has been able to enter the Curio Shop....it just keeps saying it is "loading," but nothing ever happens. Ugh!

I've been up playing it this morning but people keep leaving in the middle of the game. My screen name is luvdzne, pretty original huh! Now that I have my own webkinz I don't go on my DDs anymore except to buy something and send it to myself (she has over 40000 she'll never miss it). I've never seen anything say a level. He just starts giving you more information. I tried to name one of my rooms, guest room and it said it wasn't in the dictionary. So now it's just called room 2.

They don't actually tell you what level you are on - you just know by what Arte says. Here are the levels:

Level 1 - First time - tells you how the Curio Shop works
Level 2 - "Welcome to the Curio Shop. Hope you find what your looking for."
Level 3 - "Welcome back. See if you can find a bargain today."
Level 4 - "Hey, welcome back, if you see something you like, let me know."
Level 5 - "Good to see you again. Have fun shopping."
Level 6 - "Ahh, one of my favorite customers. Let's see what I can do for you."
Level 7 -"There you are! Always great to see you, my shop is your shop." (Holds up sign that tells what time of day the rare item will be.)


I'm currently on level 6. I think I'm going to start buying random stuff in order to move up to that last level.

Meanwhile - new Curio Shop rule - you can only buy one of a rare item per day. For example, if you want the bowling alley, you can only buy one.

Have you tried clearing your cookies, history, and stuff? That plus rebooting was how I finally got into the curio shop.

Also today at 7 pm Kinz time is when the rare item will be available.

Thats what I finally did and it worked for me too!
