When you go to garden, click on inspect first and it will tell you if you need to water, rake or harvest. You should only have to dig them out if they die.

you don't need to waste time with that, you NEVER have to water. Just rake if you see weeds growing, you don't need to water OR inspect. You can see the fruit/veg growing and just tell when its time to harvest them.

Yes, I've done this before. I've been on Webkinz World for a year and a half now. But I've never won anything.

I'm not Dania, but I will offer my opinion Of course try to accumulate as many of the same color together as you can, then click. That will raise your milk fast. Try to do that when you have one of the + thingies. I can make it to level 6 a lot. Rarely level 7.

Wow! What a great thread. I was looking into getting one of these for dd6 during christmas but I decided to wait. Where is the best place to buy these? I love shopping on amazon. I heard that your webkinz is only good for a yr once it is registered. When you buy another one, can you still use the first one? Also, what is the difference between the webkins animals and the rescue e-pets animals. I see that the webkins offer a wide variety of animals. DD6 bday isn't until August but I may just buy one now and practice on that one and let her help me to see if she likes it. Anyone have teens into webkins or are they more suited for kids in the 4-11 yr old range. DSD bday is in May. Need new ideas. She will be 15. She is addicted to the sims games. OK, i think that's enough rambling for now.

The Webkinz is good for one year after you buy it, but it's always a year from your last "adoption." So your old Webkinz don't go away after a year. They stay as long as you keep buying new ones.

Many of us on this thread are adults addicted to Webkinz, but I do think for kids the best age is 5 - 11 (since it involves reading.)

Rescue E-Pets is a different company, different site. I haven't checked it out before. We have tried Ty Girls and Build-a-bearville, both are ok but not Webkinz quality.

I do have question regarding pet of the month. So far I haven't had a pet of the month but I'm planning to buy the cow. Can I register him/her in January and get the POTM prizes or do I have to wait till February 1st when the cow becomes the POTM?

You can register the cow now, and in Feb you will get the prizes. Is that what you mean? We had the pet of the month a couple months ago.

Yes, you can register the cow now, BUT you get extra POTM gifts upon adoption during their month. I would wait if I were you.

I was playing with my DDs' Webkinz so much that my DSis bought me the Pug for Christmas, bless her heart! His name is Rufus and I'm having so much fun, LOL ~ but can anyone tell me what the trick is in the Clubhouse to getting to a different color zone?
DSis was logged into her DS' account and we were trying to get into the same clubhouse room but I kept ending up in PINK Reading Room 17 and she kept ending up in LIGHT BLUE Reading Room 17. We looked and clicked the help tab but didn't see anything explaining how to get into any other color zone.
Am I missing something really obvious or is there a trick to it? TIA for any help!!

How do you get a garden? We only have one room, do you need another room to do this? Do you need another pet to do it? DH and I were playing the word quiz game last night after the girls went to bed and he wants a garden now.

To make a garden, you need to buy a yard ~ go to your room, click on map, then click to buy, choose yard and you've got it.

Just be sure to use seed packets from the garden center in the W-Shop to start the garden, not the plants from the outdoor section of the store.
