The official WDW website has been redesigned...

Boy, I am disappointed that the resort floor plans are missing, the pricing info for the GF's children's activities is missing, as is some other info from the Resorts webpages. I sent my comments and suggestions to Disney just a few moments ago. I am hopeful that the missing info will be added back soon. And I am hopeful that videos of the resorts may appear one of these days, too (hope springs eternal).

Overall, the website does look nice and there are some new features. But I want more “meat & potatoes” and less “sex-appeal.” The sex-appeal fades quickly, and if there are no brains behind the beauty, well, I have no use for a pretty face.

This is all my humble opinion and others’ opinions may vary, as it should be.

If they are going to spend all the time and money to update the web site..........
Please update the pictures!! Some of those pictures are the same ones we have been looking at for years!!!
The videos are great. And they really highlight the big attractions.
Of course for those of us on the DIS.....we still have more info!

I do like the passholder page......hopefully they will update it regularly with the newest discounts, etc!

Looks good though!:hyper:

The site is nice, but the old one was fine too! I wish they'd stop spending their $$$ on building a fancy website, instead use the $$$ to train their CMs to be a bit more friendly or even give them a little more $$$ so they'll enjoy their jobs more.

That's just my 2 cents. (I think some of the CMs from CRO, WDW-PLAY are not so friendly and outright nasty now!)

I like the look of the new site and decided to fill out my profile and list my faves, etc. and upon doing so I noticed that many of the restaurants now claim to have a 48 hr cancellation policy and a charge of $10 pp for no shows. When did that change take place? (I realize this is a restaurant question but since you've already looked at the new site, I figured someone else might have some info on this).

Thanks.

Wow. You're right -- I see that Narcoossee's has this policy:

There is a 48-hour cancellation policy and there is a $10 per person charge if Guests cancel within 48 hours or no show for the meal.

If that is true, then have PS reservations changed into REAL reservations and not just "priority seatings??"

One thing that I like about the new website (as it pertains to resorts) is that transportation info & links are posted on each resort's webpage. That is very valuable info for new guests to have (WDW is so large that traversing it via monorail/bus/boat can be quite daunting).

Here's an example for the GF:

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation to the Theme Parks, Water Parks and Downtown Disney® from this Resort is available by:
•Monorail
•Water Launch
•Bus

For more information, visit Transportation.
