The Official VILLAS at DISNEYLAND HOTEL (Discovery Tower) Owners and Fans Info Thread

Not sure if anyone else has posted (for some reason I lost my “you were here” save on the thread as I’ve likely not been here in a while). They have added doors on the end of the “closet” area where the sliders where that they removed a while back. On our last trip or two there was just an open wardrobe on the end where the sliders was but now they seem to have ordered doors that match the rest and look rather nice. Glad to see they are staying on top of the issues.

Being here I fall in love with DH a bit more each time we visit. I hope no resale points hit the market for an incredible steal in the near future….. don’t need more points right now LOL

I mentioned it a little while ago after our trip a couple weeks ago. The doors look great and aren't going to be a huge wear and tear item going forward.

I also had an issue with the murphy bed in our studio being out of wack. Hope it was a one-off issue. I haven't heard of others noting the sag.

We have a stay coming up in a Duo in February. Looking forward to getting back home.

- Happy Nevada Day from your Northern Nevada neighbor.

Now if they could move the electrical outlet so that the sliding bathroom barn door in the primary bedroom doesn’t decapitate anything that’s plugged in the wall….

For fun and science we decided to try the trams to the Mickey and friends parking structure and then walk to VDH. It doesn’t save time but it does break up the walk and the walk to the hotel is very peaceful compared to the madness of downtown Disney. Total walking distance from the structure to vdh is about half a mile.

Also allowed my kids to ride the tram at Disneyland Resort for the first time. It’s something me and @MrsNVDISFamily have done countless times but the kids have never had the opportunity.

I’m not sure about the “fun part”……

I remember the trams from when I was a kid. :earsboy:

Walked in mostly but can vividly remember in my youngling memory bank, those yellow with blue trim cars.
