"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

I just voted on this on polladium.com. Which one do you think is the best of the HBO series?

Sopranos

The Wire

Entourage

True Blood

Curb Your Enthusiasm

Cheers,
Tony S.

I'd add Six Feet Under to this list.;)

And as we saw Sunday night, they do have problems staying up during the day. SO is that a contradiction?
Bill didn't have to stay up ALL day. he only had to stay up with her long enough to have breakfast in bed or something. They both have to sleep sometime. Like Hoyt & Jessica, they'd get to spoon together for once.

He's more than a pretty face. And he clearly is in good shape as one can tell from those tight tshirts ;)
He always seemed like a Beta male to me, :confused3 because he was always lost and with so many problems. Last season it was all the dead women & then being mentally lost until he found the Fellowship.

I don't know if I missed something in the previews to which you are referring, but when you get stabbed in the heart, I'd say not looking good is a good assessment :lmao:

Yes, but in this show, they seem to be able to save people from near death, left & right. What if Marianne also has some powers to heal Daphne? What if shifters die differently or their heart's in a different place?

No one mentioned, if Eggs really did kill her, he'll probably be written off the show at some point. (No rewarding a murderer, even if he was in a trance at the time.) Poor Tara! :sad1:

I just thought of something... I bet Sara hit Jason with one of those paintball guns, but thought she had a real gun. From what I've heard, at close range those things can really hurt.

Now that would explain why they brought paintballing into the show. Good call and I hope you are right.

I loved Jessica's line on Sunday's show- "We can still cuddle- just don't worry if I look a little...dead."

They just showed it again. Barry was standing in front of Bill's door. He turned his back to the door to get ready to leave and send his message back to Sookie when he was grabbed. Since he was grabbed from behind, either Bill or Lorena had grabbed him. I'm guessing it was Bill. He somehow wrestled Lorena off of him.

You mean like what happened to Sylar on Heroes? Hmmm, interesting.

Something that I just thought of was how Bill brought in the flashback about Lorena releasing him. If she did that how can she have a hold on him now? I guess it is kind of like Indian Giving, huh? Sorry I hope that analogy does not upset anyone. DH is part Indian.

ITA!
The second time I watched this episode I paid closer attention to the gun and it was larger and "boxy" looking compared to a real gun.

I didn't think the shape of the gun looked like it was a real gun...I had thought it was a tazer but your idea sounds more plausible!

ETA: I agree 100% that paintballs are extremely painful when you get hit at close range--it feels like you've been shot!

I just found this thread here! I need to mark it so I don't forget. I love this show, but don't get HBO at home so I'm off to my friends in a couple of hours to watch Sunday's episode. :thumbsup2 Very much looking forward to it.

Story was on CNN tonight--so glad for them!

'True Blood' stars get engaged

(People.com) -- It's true love for "True Blood" couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.

'True Blood' stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin, here smiling at the season premiere, are now engaged.

The two are engaged to be married, reps for both actors on the HBO vampire series confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.

No further details were available.

The two have been together since February 24 of this year. Paquin, who plays telepathic Sookie Stackhouse on "True Blood," is originally from New Zealand and won a 1994 supporting actress Oscar for her role as the precocious child in "The Piano."

Moyer, from Essex, England, plays bloodsucking Bill Compton on the series. He also has two children from previous relationships: a son, Billy, born in 2000, and a daughter, Lilac, born in 2002.

Last month, Paquin, 27, said of her nude love scenes with Moyer, 39: "Obviously, if you're already with that person then you're not having to sort of get over the 'Wow, I'm naked with someone that I don't even know the middle name of!' "

For his part, Moyer has said of his lady love, "My girl is hardcore."

Bhhaaaaa! I was just going to post the story about the engagement!

I have not been here for a while, I have to catch up with you all and see what you are saying about Sunday's episode.

She looks so in love:love:...............for now

I thought that he was a lot older than her, not just three years. Maybe its just because he looks older on the show.
