"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

Ok, I'm confused...I have a question I am going to put in white b/c I don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't read the books

When Sookie gets scratched by the minotaur isn't that when she get Eric's blood for the first time, thus starting their blood bond? Or is it later when he gets shot and asks her to suck the bullets out? I can't remember, I read them too quickly back to back. I just know she didn't get any of Eric's blood in last night's episode, right? Thanks for the clarification!!!

The more I think about it, I am not sure that who (or what) attacked Sookie is actually Maryanne, but maybe someone/thing under her control. The thing looked more like a minotaur (half bull, half human) and that is male...hmmm...Maryanne's manservant? Or maybe Eggs? Have we seen any other males (besides Sam) repeatedly with Maryanne who could be a possibility?

What's a supe? Is that short for supernatural?

And what's with MaryAnn's pig? Is it a shapeshifter? How did it disappear from that little hut?

Yes, a supe is a person with supernatural powers.

I don't have a clue about the pig. Sorry.

Yes, you are correct. Since she does not receive his blood now, you have to wonder what other departures from the book are in store?!

Season 2 is good so far. I could do without the whole FotS storyline. More Eric would be appreciated.

Hopefully, they won't deviate from book 4. That is my favorite Eric.:banana:

I kinda don't think they'll do with Eric much of what goes on in the books. It kinda seems like they have just made him into the bad vampire guy on the show, so all of that charming, quirky Eric from the books will probably never show up, and neither will all the fun situations and the Eric/Sookie times!

I'm not sure I agree Tiffany, remember what happens between Bill and Sookie in Dallas? I think they could still transition TV Eric to the Eric in later books.

I really hope they do.... ;)

I sure hope you're wrong. The Eric/Sookie storyline is one of the things that hooked me into this series. I love their banter and the odd relationship that they share.

I agree i love their relationship...

I'd be surprised if they changed the Eric/Sookie relationship from the books. I think they are already foreshadowing the attraction. Did you see the look they gave each other just before leaving Fangtasia?

I agree. I think it will just take a bit longer road to get there on the series. I do think Eric is definitely interested.

I finally was able to sit and watch it. Wow, it is getting pretty interesting.:thumbsup2

I like the introduction of the Maryanne's storyline. I have not read the books so I am left to guess.

Daphne is going to be food for the pot right? Can't figure out why she is not dead though.

Maryanne is hexing people and drawing some sort of power from them or taking control of them, perhaps?

Maybe the pig didn't disappear? Maryanne may have it invisible to the sheriff.

I'm almost finished rereading "Living Dead in Dallas," the 2nd Sookie book, and the Eric/Sookie stuff is so good in this book - I find myself laughing out loud sometimes! I hope they go for it in the series...I agree that it looks as though TV Eric is starting to show some interest in feisty Sookie.

OT, in the book, I crack up when Sookie asks Eric to accompany her to "the party," and she asks him to pretend to be gay. I love when Pam takes the phone from Eric and asks Sookie, "What did you say to Eric? He is shaking his head back and forth with his eyes shut."

Sookie: "Is he laughing, even a little bit?"

Pam: "Not that I can tell."
:rotfl:

That was very funny..I was really, REALLY hoping to see Eric in the pink spandex....:rolleyes1
I wish they would stay with the books even a little bit though...i really loved the story and although i am enjoying the show..i was expecting more from season 2..

I hope I'm wrong too...I :lovestruc Sookie and Eric together! But it just doesn't necessarily seem like they are setting it up and I worry if they do it, they just might screw it up too much!
