"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

I read all 10 books this past week (after watching True Blood season 1 and 2 on DVD right when they were released). Not a huge fan of the newest one.

I wished that had Bubba on the show! I love him!

I'm not a huge fan of all the side storylines. Maybe I'm just die hard Sookie/Eric at heart so I want that to be the big focus.

Alexander Skargard who plays Eric is definitely wonderful to look at!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
Yes I too LOVE the Eric/Sookie storyline...even though i'm starting to love Eric's scenes with Lafayette even more!! :lmao:
I need Sookie and Eric to be together more!! But you are absolutely right.. Alex Skarsgard is def. one of the reasons to watch the show!!;)

This past week's show was a little weak, for sure. I don't read the books so I have no comparison. I refuse to read them until the series is off the air. I know me and I would be the worst critic.;)

I am not liking the Sam or Jason storyline so far.

Now Tara, that may prove to be crazy!!! Bill cannot help her.

Very crazy episode!!! They are framing BILL for the V?! I wonder how that will play out.

I agree, not as good as I had hoped after it skipping a week..

- DH commented on how tall Eric is...he is tall...handsome, dreamy and can fly into my bedroom window whenever he wants...:lovestruc:worship:

- Dh was happy they included more naked woman this episode..LOL..he was a tad put off with all the naked men as of late...speaking of...Jason has been clothed an awful lot...

- Jessica...LOVE HER...at first I didint, but lately, she is a joy to have on the show.

- Franklin Mott, he is just creepy.

- Alcide...:lovestruc:lovestruc I still prefer Eric though...maybe they can fight it out, and I will take the winner...LOL

- I am over Bill...time to move on Sookie..

I guess I am the lone dissenter. I started read the books a few years before the show started. I loved the books then, but after the Vampire convention they kind of went downhill for me.

I really love the show though and I love they don't follow the books (otherwise Layfayette would be dead!).

I can't wait for Sookie/Eric to happen.

I can't stand Bill although in this new season he is a more interesting character. I can't seem to figure out his game.

Oh and DH was happy there were more nude women in this episode as well!

OMG! How cute is Lafayette when he's blushing and being so surprised that someone wants to date him?! I'm in love with him more and more each episode.

ANd who wouldn't want to be pulled over by a half naked Jason Stackhouse. If all cops looked like that and didn't wear shirts to work, I'd be speeding and kicking out my tail lights every chance I could :thumbsup2.

I'm glad we're learning more about Eric. He sure was looking good tonite:lovestruc.

I'm sad about Jessica and Hoyt still carrying on like this. Silly children!

Franklin Mott is a giant psychopathic baby:rolleyes1.

That is all.

I totally agree, Lafayette was so funny, they would make a good couple. Looks like love at first sight with Jason and Crystal!

Gotta love Eric! :happytv:

Okay, must be having a brain fart. When did they introduce Calvin into the storyline?

We've been reading the stories, making a game of how the books are going to be written into the TV version. So far, hasn't been too bad.

This was a great episode. :thumbsup2

Franklin is a wackado!!! :scared1: I wish I had his speed texting skills though. :lmao:

Eric can't help Sookie because he cares for Pam and he needs the King on his side as well as to wait for his right moment for vengeance. :scared1:

Poor Tara! :upsidedow

I don't know about this Lafayette thing. That guy coming out of nowhere seems a bit suspicious to me. :scratchin

Did anyone else think it was odd when Sam showed up at his family's house and the dad was sitting there in his undies with the brother tommy? And then the bar scene when he was giving Tommy the liquor shots? I feel like that is going somewhere. Not sure since it isn't in the books

I caught that as well. And was it my imagination, or did the dad have his arm on his son's thigh? Yes, I do believe they're going to take that in a disturbing direction, but we'll see I guess :confused3

Seems like you two might be right after all. I completely missed it. I guess I'm too trailer trashy. I thought they seemed normal on the couch. :lmao:

Every week gets better and better this season! I loved Lafayette getting all flustered over a guy. That was so funny. Franklyn is all kins of psychotic, but I love his character. I find him so funny! He cracked me up when he read Tara her text message. You could so tell that it was from Lafayette. Then, when he showed Tara how fast he could text, I thought that was so funny!

I can hardly wait to see what they do with the story line of Eric finding out about his dad's crown. Great show last night!

Oh, and please have Eric wear that blue sweater again!

Am I stunted or something? Because I found Franklin and Tara absolutely hilarious in this episode. He's so totally wacko and watching Tara try to placate him just cracked me up. I loved it when she was talking about how she had needs and had to eat and then told him, "It's okay, it's just a thing, baby." :rotfl: I also laughed when she told him they needed to talk and he said, "That's never good. I wake up in the dark surrounded by body parts." I think the actor playing him is doing a fabulous job. I'm surprised because I was quite prepared to not like this story line for going so off course.

I'm also glad that they're showing that Bill isn't all he seemed to be although they're still making him too noble for my taste.

And apparently Sookie still has the electricity from her hands thing still going on. What the heck is that?

I really enjoyed the episode this week. In the previews, they showed Russell talking marriage with Sophie Anne and it seems like they're rushing that. I'm trying to remember the timeline for that in the books--wasn't that in All Together Dead?

You are not alone in your love for Franklin/Tara. They cracked me up last night!:lmao: I just love how he is keeping her in line.

OMG!!!!!!! I thought Franklin was hilarious!!!!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: I hated him in the prior episodes, but that sure changed last night!! He is totally DEMENTED!:woohoo:

I was PMSL when he kept texting really fast :lmao: AND repeating what Tara wanted him to say to Lafayette!!

I have to say, as of last night- he is now my favorite character on the show! I look forward to seeing more of him!!:worship: (I didn't read the books- please tell me there will be more of him!!)

There will be more of him. There, does that make you feel better? (At least for this season.) Really, who knows what Alan Ball has in store for us? Lafayette is still alive.

Sookie hasn't created the hidey-hole in her spare bedroom's closet yet. Maybe she'll be doing that for Tara when she comes back.

The sexual tension between Sookie and Alcide is just like in the books. I love it!

Eric should never wear hot pink spandex (like in the books), he should only wear light blue. It definitely works for him.

I also loved Terry Bellefleur. He knows he's broken and just wants to be normal.

Jason as a cop? Nice eye candy, but very unbelievable.

Franklin is totally psycho -- but don't you think a lot of the "older" vampires are anyway? I think Russell has slipped a cog already and Queen Sophie Anne has too ...

Question: Does Russell know that Eric was the Viking "prince" and that's why he had Talbot show him the crown?

And I so did not want Bill to go find Sookie and Alcide to warn them to get away. Bill's the hero again ... but not when Tara tells her he was with Russell *and* Lorena and bloody-mouthed from their evening meal.

Something that dawned on me. I think Tommy's father uses him for "dog fights" -- that's why he is all scarred up. I'd rather have that be the case than the trailer-trash obvious that I was thinking before.

I can't see how the Pam & Erik selling V for Queen Sophie is going to resolve, and I'm glad! Keep the surprises coming.

Yes it does, thank you :cutie::cutie:

.

I do agree, a lot of them are alittle wacked, but Franklin is totally OUTER LIMITS! :scared1::lmao:

I wonder if he was psycho before he was bitten?

Wow- interesting! I would have never thought of that! But when he and Sam shifted together, I said to DH " You KNOW Tommy is going to be a Pit Bull" And yup- he was. He just has that personality.

Hmmmm! Very interesting! That would make a lot of sense (with Tommy being a scarred-up pitbull).

And I am also LOVING Franklin Mott. After watching James Frain in the Tudors being all royal & proper, his portrayal of Franklin Mott is absolutely hilarious.

You are not alone in your love for Franklin/Tara. They cracked me up last night!:lmao: I just love how he is keeping her in line.

:lmao: Oh, thank goodness. I was a little weirded out by the fact that I found a psychopathic vampire so freakin' funny.

I was PMSL when he kept texting really fast :lmao: AND repeating what Tara wanted him to say to Lafayette!!

I was jealous of his mad texting skills. ;) He's one of my favorites now, too. I don't remember too much of him from the books--he was more of a minor character.

Eric should never wear hot pink spandex (like in the books), he should only wear light blue. It definitely works for him.

Really, my life will not be complete until I see Eric in the hot pink spandex outfit. I've been dreaming of this scene come to life ever since I first learned they were making a series based on the books. :lmao:

Jason as a cop? Nice eye candy, but very unbelievable.

It was kind of my worst nightmare. ;) Jason as a cop scares the bejeebers out of me.

And I so did not want Bill to go find Sookie and Alcide to warn them to get away. Bill's the hero again ... but not when Tara tells her he was with Russell *and* Lorena and bloody-mouthed from their evening meal.

I am vehemently against Bill being considered noble or a hero and I'm irritated that I see it headed that way. I think the makers of the show really want to go the love triangle route with Bill, Eric, and Sookie.

Something that dawned on me. I think Tommy's father uses him for "dog fights" -- that's why he is all scarred up. I'd rather have that be the case than the trailer-trash obvious that I was thinking before.

I'd never thought of that. You're a genius!

I know Jason is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but, why is he confused when Crystal keeps telling him it will not work out between the 2 of them?

He is a "so called" cop  and isn't she the daughter of the drug dealer??? Or is it me that needs some "sharpening" ?:lmao:
