1984- Mike Eisner is elected Chairman of the board and CEO by the board of Directors. Frank Wells is elected President.

1999- Soft Opening of illuminations 2000: Reflections of earth at EPCOT!!!!!!!

1980- BIg Thunder MT RR has soft opening at MK
1990- "The Magical World OF Disney" Moves to the Disney Channel

Ok I'm back and I found My book( It was in a Shoe box going to the Garbage( That would have been Bad) Back tot History

1984- Mike Esiner and Frank Wells officially begin running Walt Disney Productions
1993- "Boy Meets World" debuts on abc
1995- The First Disneyland Wedding on a Disney LAnd attraction (mark Twain Riverboat takes place.

2004 - Hurricane Jeanne comes trhough Orlando and all WDW parks are closed. WeatherbySwann is forced to remain in tiny All Star Movies room for 18 hours, watching the same loop of Disney cartoons over . . . and over . . . and over . . . I can honestly say I never want to see "Alpine Climbers" again

1945- Walt Disney steps down as President of Walt Disney Productions. Roy Oliver Disney fills the position.
1959- "Mickey Mouse Club" the tv series concludes its regular run on ABC
1999- Soft opening of TApestry of Nations show at EPCOT

1981- "Disney's Wonderful world" (Tv series) moves to CBS and changes name to "Walt DIsney.

I believe it was at World Showplace, an area between Canada & United Kingdom that's used for special events like the annual Pin Trading thing.

2005 - The Greatest Game Ever Played is released in theatres.
2006 - Dream Along with Mickey premieres at Magic Kingdom.

I can't wait for tomorrow's "Day in History". It's a pretty important day . . .

2001 - 100 Years of Magic Celebration officially kicks off @ WDW, where Share a Dream Come True Parade (which was revised in '06) premieres at MK; Cinderella's Surprised Celebration (which closed in '05) premieres at MK; Magic Carpets of Aladdin opens at MK; the Sorcerer Mickey hat is officially unveiled at MGM; Walt Disney: One Man's Dream opens @ MGM; Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade premieres at MGM; Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade premieres @ Animal Kingdom; and a ceremony is held @ MK's main entrance railroad station featuring Al Weiss and every Disney character imaginable to honor Walt Disney's 100 Years of Magic (although Walt's 100th bday was actually not until December).
2006 - The Year of a Million Dreams officially kicks off at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. At WDW; Woody's Cowboy Camp, Main Street Family Fun Day Parade, High School Musical Pep Rally (now @ MGM), and Let's Have a Ball (now closed) all premiere @ MK.
