Quick question: Do you have to have an IPOD to listen to this music or can you just rip it to your computer and burn it on cd's? A little off topic I know, but Im trying to help get the man to a top spot!!

sorry it has taken me a while to respond! I went out last night with some friends (had Red Snappers all night, Tay's favorite drink! yummy!) and then I spent all day today woring on a project for my graphic design class - oy vey! Real life REALLY gets in the way of my Taylor obsession! lol

so! to answer your question, nope you definitely do not need an ipod! you can burn your mp3s (not just the ones you bought from itunes either) to disc. you can also rip cds to mp3 in itunes, too. hope that helps!

Do you all realize that next year at this time we'll be discussing tour dates and posting concert reviews? For solo-Taylor, that is. What do you think? Maybe sooner than that? Is it this fall that is CD is due to be released? Then I suppose we'd be looking at a winter tour.

I'd better start saving my pennies...but at least since he's a relatively new artist, we shouldn't have to shell out $100+ for seats. Not yet anyway. I'm so glad he won just so we don't have to wait too long for a CD/tour.

It's like, he's so intensely driven by his music and his goals, that I can see that he might not be the best boyfriend/husband.



I know that's like blasphemy around here. I dated a guy like this once, a long time ago. Very talented, good looking, creative, driven guy. And there was no way anybody was going to get in the way of that or come before his way lofty goals in life....nobody. Far as I know, nobody ever did.

Now, as for Taylor - there have been a lot of little comments, like on the Today interview when he was asked about the nature of his relationship with Kat. He couldn't blurt out fast enough, "we're NOT dating." A few times he's been very quick to point out how single he is, though. In that aspect, he's probably better at PR than we give him credit for. I think he knows that pushing the sex-symbol image is just a little bit to his benefit.

I mean, I don't know the man and the deepest relationship I'll ever have with him will be a couple credit-card transactions, so what do I care? He sure is fun to look at and listen to, so I'll take it!

Oh I wouldn't worry about Taylor - he's going to do just fine. His single is #7 on Amazon. The only single in the top 25 and the only item not yet released in the top 25.

Wait til his real CD debuts (the one that HE actually puts together. Not some....I'll save my opinions.....) He'll blow 'em away then, don't worry. And oh yea, he'll have my support.

There is a Chris Conspiracy. First of all, I can't turn on a radio station without hearing Wanted Dead or Alive, yet I haven't heard Taylor ONCE. Second, I'm waking up this morning and I have my local Fox news on. I hear the AI theme and think, "Awesome! AI news!" It was about Chris and how he rejected Fuel's offer. Um....didn't we know that WEEKS ago?! I get in the shower and, as I'm getting out, the same story runs again about Chris and Fuel.

I think I was thinking "gay" because anytime I see a man that seems to be a nice person, I figure he can't be straight. But, yeah, I imagine his lady would be 2nd for a long, long time, but if you can put up with it, I think he'd be fun to live with.....growing old and...umm...gray....

I don't listen to a station that would play his songs so I haven't heard it. Still waiting for Taylor's song to play because it's the kind of song they WOULD play.

I grew up with such a gentle man, my Dad, so I know that there ARE actual men like Taylor. My Dad was a pure Southern gentleman with a kind, all encompassing soul and I've always been attracted to that type. He was also fun and danced around the house whenever he sang! NO WONDER I love Tay!
