The Official Spring 2007 CP

For 1-br apartments, there is one bathroom. For 2-br apartments there are 2 bathrooms. I was told some 3-br apartments have 3 bathrooms, but I'm pretty sure the majority have 2. And 4-br apartments have 2 baths.

A character attendant assists the characters, takes photos for guests, answers questions, stuff like that. It is a lot of fun. I enjoy my role very much. And yes, you do get enough hours. And you could always pick up extra hours (there are plenty to choose from).

Thanks!

This might seem like a random question, but are the stoves in the apartments gas or electric?

sorry... feel free to move my last post- I thought I was under the "questions" thread ;)

Hey Ohana I will ask one of my friends who are in the program right now and try to get an answer for you!! :)

First round of questions:
2) what are all of the "speiling" roles?

3) the WDWCP official website mentions a campus scout card..."What do I do with the Campus Scout Card?
If a previous Disney College Program participant or a member of your school's faculty or administration gave you a Campus Scout referral card, please bring this card with you to the presentation and interview."
what is that?

4) I am doing the e-presentation. I have seen several people suggest bringing cover letters and resumes to presentations. Is there any way I can still submit one that will actually get read before/soon after my interview?

5) what are all of the "non-trained" shifts that you can pick up (PAC, wristbands...anything else?)

Just to add on to what Joanna was saying...
(I actually typed this out like 2 days ago and my computer was mean and wouldn't post it :guilty: )

2. There are also small spieling roles-- obviously Great Movie Ride, Jungle Cruise, and Kilomajaro Safari's have long monologues, but a lot of rides have small ones-- Tower/Haunted Mansion..

3. Campus Scout cards are given to CP alumni. You give them to people you want to refer to the program-- however, I haven't received any in over a year...

4. I don't think I gave a resume or cover letter for my CPs. (We also didn't
have the option of an e-presentation then)

5. There are also Perm Greeter shifts

perm greeter means you stand outside of the attraction the whole time.

Usually, there's a rotation in which you work unload/load areas but since you're not trained in that ride, you stand at the entrance in costume answering questions and helping them enter the line.

Thank you for the replies! I received my acceptance letter on Monday- I'm so excited!!!! :Pinkbounc :yay:

What role did you get, and when do you go?

My name is Catherine and I also got accepted for the Spring, but I am still thinking if I want to do this or not. I just got a lot questions about the program.

I hopefully will be joining you guys on the Spring CP program. I just scheduled my interview for Wednesday! I'm pretty calm though because I interviewed for Fall '06 last year and was accepted, but had to decline unfortunately. So I just hope that isn't held against me. It probably won't be, but who knows! :wizard:

Hey Catherine. I am on the CP right now. I can try to answer any questions you may have. And I hope you do the CP. It is a great experience.

Hi Johanna, My first question is about my role which is Quick-service kitchen only, and I want to know if you knew anyone in this role and where do they usually end up working at and the hours they have. Also what kind of uniforms do you usually have to wear. And I also have another question, have you took any of the courses they offered.

I can't answer any of the food q's but I did take 2 classes: ExpEARiential & Practicum. I enjoyed the Expeariential but there is a decent amount of work for it.

I have taken 2 courses. I have taken Hospitality Managemant and Experiential Learning. The 2nd one was fun, and very easy. I know a few people in QSFB, and all have different hours. You could work at any of the 4 theme parks, or one of the 2 water parks. And the uniforms are all very different. It could range from pants and a shirt, to a dress.
