I can't believe the lack of FP availability! We choose Sept specifically for crowd reasons and I am freaking out! Hope I am worrying over nothing...

I’m confused, when are you going? We did ours for the 15-23, and had no issues at all for a party if 15. We got slinky dog twice, mine train twice, FOP, etc.

Got a Touring Plans Reservation Finder text today for the highest priority ADR I need. Only to find it 30 minutes afterwards & it was already gone.

We are 51 days!! Still trying to decide between Liberty Tree Tavern or Skipper for dinner our first night. All other ADRs have been set for months.

Had zero availability on SDD at 60+2, not surprising. Zero availability on FOP at 60+2, which did surprise me a little that it would be gone for the whole day for only 4 people before the 7am window even opened. 7DMT had only a late evening slot for 60+1 and 60+3 wasn't much better. 7DMT at 60+5 earliest available was afternoon when it opened but checked a bit later and only late evening available. FOP at 60+4 was limited and then gone completely shortly after opening, same for SDD of course.

I could be completely misguided but it surprised me. Based on what I was reading here, I was expecting different. Happy you had no issues!

And don't forget to go in and restart the search on the website-- touringplans stops checking once it finds a reservation unless you tell it to start again.

I did my family's FPs for 6 people and had no problem getting what we wanted. Granted we didn't really want any of the huge big headliners, like anything in Pandora or SDD, but I definitely saw availability for those as I was doing it.

I'm surprised at the options that you had available. Our FP day was Monday, July 23 for our Sept. 21-25, with 4 park days, and I saw a lot of availability for practically everything. The only thing that I actively didn't see anything for was SDD for the day that I was booking HS, but that's alright for us since we weren't planning on that.

However, I didn't check all of the parks when I was booking, I was only going according to where I was going that day, so I'm not sure if maybe it was because of the days of the parks that we're going to.

We are going the 16-21 and had trouble despite traveling the same week. It depends on what days you need the most popular FPs and it didn't work well for us this time. I think we will get things eventually, just with a little extra work!

I like to plan geographically - not a fan of multiple park crisscrossing.

Edit - I don't believe in crisscrossing within a park with few exceptions. I will do it at EPCOT FW, only.

That was my dilemma going into our FP day. I knew what everyone in my family wanted to hit but we had never really discussed times or anything.

In the end I did do it partly geographically and partly around what I think we would be doing at that time, like not scheduling one when I think we'd spend time doing lunch or spending time in that section of the park.

Never mind. It was a drill. I have three more days until my window opens.
I have a MNSSHP reservation three days before my check-in date (I'm doing Universal first) so MDE shows "60-days" three days early. Rookie mistake. Please stand down. Resume normal operations.

I was very worried about being able to get FOP, Slinky and 7D but I was able to get all of them but then 3 days later I had to do the other half of my families and that was trickier, I was able to get them a FOP for later the same day we have ours, I was able to add them (party of 4) to our party of 2 for 7D but I wasn't able to get them Slinky Dog at all, Ill keep trying but otherwise they will have to rope drop SD

Eek! You're right! It's almost "next month" that we're going. I know it's going to fly by in many ways, and drag in others.

Side note: I've loved Edna Mode since forever, and was thinking about doing an Edna shirt for this trip. They're STILL hard to find (maybe I'm too picky), but would it be awful if I made couples shirts that said "Edna Mode" for me and "and guest" for my husband? We're celebrating our 20th anniversary during our trip. That's the only "couple" shirt combo I can think of. He's certainly not a "guest," though!

Does anyone else enjoy driving by the airport more when there is a trip on the books? Granted, out airport is right in the middle of things with zero traffic so it's easy to get to and/or drive by.
