For those arriving 9/1-9/3, if you have Magic Kingdom planned for any of those days and find yourself in Adventureland could you let me know if the egg roll cart/wagon (Outside Swiss Family Treehouse) is there and still serving the cheeseburger spring rolls please?

Also has the rose-gold ears craze calmed down? Hoping to get a pair this year.

I've never heard of those before, I'll have to look for them and give them a try when we go.

Way too early to tell. I use Dark Sky and don't see that.

There will definitely be rain next week, but no one can say how much or how long yet.

I use Dark Sky as well and I love it. Particularly when it notifies me that rain is on the way or that it's about to stop. It's usually very accurate as well.

I'm from Florida, the weather can change in a few seconds. One good coastal wind and rain could roll in, or out, very quickly. I like the app Wunderground and they do show rain in the 10 day forecast, but that's just summer in Florida. Don't worry too much.

Oh yes, I'm sure it will rain, I was just a wee bit concerned since every time I've checked they've been increasing the total rainfall for Tuesday - up to almost an inch now. We were lucky last year during Labor Day week in that it only stormed once that I remember (other than Irma moving in after we left of course) and it happened while we were in the show at the American pavilion at Epcot and had cleared up when we got out. I won't worry too much though, thanks!

Yep I love it! I have it on my Apple watch, too, so I get a buzz when rain is starting or stopping. It's very useful down here in south Louisiana!

Yeah, I did my internship at Epcot one summer so I'm very familiar with the daily thunderstorms that are the norm there in the summer months. You could almost set your watch by them. I'm not concerned about those, I'm just a little concerned that it may be more rainy than normal on Tuesday and possibly into Wednesday. I'll keep an eye on this developing storm and hope it doesn't turn into Irma 2.0!

I'm a little concerned about the weather next week. Tuesday looks like it may rain all day. I will definitely be packing some rain ponchos!

This will be my first trip to WDW in September - we typically would avoid this time of year due to the risk of tropical activity but since we're doing this specifically for our anniversary on September 16th, not much choice this time around!

We need to do a run to the dollar store and pick up more than a few of those cheap dollar ponchos. Lugging around soaking wet ones just isn't fun!

There is a free version (I downloaded & installed it on my phone). It's just limited and it looks like the alerts/notifications and stuff you're (and others) referencing are premium version only.

That must be something new then, as when I downloaded it a couple of months ago it was paid only. I couldn't even download it without paying. It's good they've got a free version now though.

I go back and forth on the poncho thing for every Disney trip. On one hand, it's super convenient to throw a few dollar ponchos in the bottom of our backpack, forget about them and throw them away when we're done using them. Having to put our wet ponchos back into our bag when it stops raining doesn't sound very appealing, although the quality of the Disney ponchos is loads better than the "ice bucket bags" masquerading as dollar ponchos.
I have two thicker camping ponchos I bought a few years ago. I will probably bring those with us, along with a couple of the dollar ponchos. Ponchos are better than rain jackets, regardless. The front of my pants/shorts always tend to get soaked when it rains when I wear my Columbia rain jacket.

Just checked in for our Southwest flight.
Boarding position B14-17 for first leg, A 54-57 for second leg. I'm happy with that!
We bought EBCI for the return flight, since last year on our "Just the 2 of us" trip, we forgot to check in until hours later and were almost last onto the flight. We were not able to sit together which worked out fine for us, but this year our boys are coming along and they would be unhappy if we couldn't sit together.

We really dislike ponchos, so we have light rain jackets and umbrellas. I'm probably over prepared for rain, but maybe that means it won't be so bad!
