Way to Go !!!! I'm hoping for free dining. This will be our first big family vaca, and the costs are a bit scary. So trying to save where I can! I haven't booked anything yet, but started a DVA. Do you all use TA's or book it all yourself?
I booked myself. However, I took upwards of 3 months before booking because I was on the fence about going the DVC route (which I ended up doing after my initial booking). I have met up with other DIS people in the past. It's fun to hang out for a bit and talk turkey.
I just hate to go during the really crowded times. We haven't been since Sept 2012, so a lot has changed for us too! We are either staying at CR or AofA. Depends on what kind of discounts might come out. Does anyone know when F&W is....we will try to avoid those dates, because I hear it makes it more crowded. Sooo excited to be planning a Disney trip again...it's crazy how happy it makes me!! 
F&W is going on right now.We've also decided to try and go next Sept. Nothing official yet. Our kids will be 14, 12 & 9, so we are nervous to take my daughter out for a week for her Freshman year of HS, but she thinks it will be fine!

slbgnb !!!! Glad you are in the group. A lot has changed since 2012 - the last time I went as well. You aren't alone in your joy... I'm sure all of us are just as excited !!!
So what's one thing you really want to do this trip?
For me it's MNSSHP. I've never been to any of the parties and I love the idea of dressing up and meeting some rare characters. I'm thinking we'll go two nights!

if you have enough people in your group I think the private fireworks cruise would be amazing and pretty affordable comparing it to one of the dessert parties
To piggyback off this, I just did a search for you both, because why not, I love to help, and I saw that Wishes Dessert Party at MK is $46.01 PER PERSON on April 5, 2016 for 9:10PM as that's the last available date that it's showing. I can imagine it being a lot more expensive during Peak Season, though.We fid the dessert party at magic kingdom in 2014 and it was amazing! Desserts were fantastic and view was incredible! I know the price has gone up since then but I'm not sure how much. When we were there the epcot dessert party was cocktail tables and standing only. No chairs. After a long day in the park that didn't sound too appealing to me.
