13 more working days... 18 total days.. Got to see our niece and nephew that are going with us on this trip (they live about 3 hours away). I asked my niece (9 y/o) what she is looking forward too. Her response "Well, my friend "S" said that I need to go on Space Mountain. My friend "K" said I have to go on the Tower of Terror". My friend "A" said that I need to enjoy the food.. I am looking forward to all of that and getting to miss a week of school.".. Lol.

Our nephews response was pretty simple... "I want to see the castle and Mickey Mouse". He is 4 y/o and pretty easy to please. lol

"23 days from now we'll be at the MK getting ready to go to Chef Mickey's for dinner (I know, I know, it was my 4 y/o nephews choice).

Another great bit of news is that I've been interviewing for a new job lately and I have been given three offers from three different potential employers. All of the offers have in writing that I will be able to take our Sept 2016, Nov. 2016 and Jan 2017 trips to WDW. That was the key for when I was looking. Didn't want to be out almost $12,000 (I always buy travel insurance so we wouldn't have been out but still don't want the hassle of a claim).

All three offers are significantly more $$$ than my current position also. "

Today I accepted one of the offers from a very well known company that has been around over 120 years. It is a 12% pay increase and an 8% bonus/profit sharing plan from what I currently make. 3 paid weeks of vacation which is outstanding. My start date is after our end of Sept (24th thru Oct. 1st) trip which will not count against my 3 weeks of vacation. That means I will only use 7 days of vacation on our next two trips in Nov. (Wine & Dine Half weekend getaway) and Jan. 2017 (Wife's Dopey Challenge week).

Sorry to post this but I am very excited. I have been doing what I do for almost 20 years and this is the most compensation I have made and most vacation I have been offered. That is with staying with the same company for over 10 years. A fresh start is always exciting.

New Zealand. We've got snow in places it doesn't usually snow at the moment. Wind, hail and lots of rain. It's spring here now but definitely feels like winter. It's 5 degrees here (sorry not sure what that is in Fahrenheit) although the weather report says it feels like -1 because of the wind and lots of people have lost power.

I am leaving one week from tomorrow and I'm not ready for anything. We are only staying 3 nights with two park days. I have 4 days off work, one day for travel on both ends of the trip. Maybe it's because it's just two park days or because it's a last minute trip but it just doesn't feel real. I should be way more excited than I am! Maybe I should watch some vlogs to get excited.

Just finished my last day at work! We leave tomorrow afternoon for our flight destination, then fly out Saturday morning and we have reservations for Club Villian that night! I can't believe it is almost here!!!!

Now that is Disney dedication! Quite a long way to travel! I have wanted to move to Orlando because I don't like living so "far". It is only a 2 hour plane ride though. You living in an entirely different hemisphere puts my distance in perspective!
