***The official September, 2016 Thread !!!***

My DD8 and I will be joining you lovely folks from September 10-16 at All Star Music! I will be off work during the summer (I work at am elementary school) and I plan on walking around during the days to try to get acclimated to the heat. I know PA won't be anything like Florida in terms of humidity, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try to get used to it :)

I'll be at CSR 9/3-9/9! Will I have any neighbors? This was an unexpected trip so I am very excited! :yay:

I'm booked at Pop 9/11-9/19. This is my first solo trip! Going to do 4 days at WDW, 2-3 days at Universal, and spend the rest of the time exploring everything that is new at Disney Spring plus a couple of the resorts. I am very excited!!

Sounds like fun! Have you gone to Universal before? I know a lot of Disney fans don't care for it but I love it. My oldest son likes it better than Disney. You will have a blast!

Only in Cali, not the one in Orlando. I am a Harry Potter FREAK and I've not gone the last few trips to Orlando because the people I was with didn't want to. I figured a solo trip is the perfect opportunity!

I went in 2010 and it was AMAZING! There's so much detail. You will love it!

Hi guys! I'm joining in! I was originally supposed to go in October but when free dining came out the only thing I could get was a king room at Caribbean Beach from September 10-20. I was pretty upset at that at first because DH and I both really hate the heat. We've gone in September twice before and were hoping to avoid it this time but it actually turned out to not be such a bad thing. I realized our 12th anniversary will happen while we are there and with DH's job situation it is probably better to go in September anyways. So I guess we are just going to have to brave the heat and try not to let it ruin our trip :teeth:

Its real bad, I won't lie. The humidity is nothing like anything I've felt here in Ohio, ever. My hair is will be perfectly flat ironed and will look like a frizz ball before I even get the the bus stop- no joke. It's sticky and HOT. But that being said, we've been there in September 8 times, and the crowds and prices make it worth it. I will admit our April and November trips were a lot more enjoyable with the cool temps, but the crowds were higher.
ditto on the hair issue

It does get pretty hot and humid, but I go in September more often than any other time. Crowds are generally low, as well as pricing. I think I tolerate the heat better because I'm just so happy to be at Disney World! I just head back to the hotel for some pool time in the afternoon when it is hottest and then head back out at night. It will be fun to celebrate your anniversary while you are there! Make sure you get the special anniversary buttons. My DH and I were there last September on our honeymoon and it was so nice to hear all the cast members congratulating us!

Yeahhhh!!!! I am so excited to score one for myself! I thought they'd be all gone for good until crunch time and people dropped reservations.
glad you scored one! I'm still not having much luck for my dates. There is one but I would have to go the MNSSHP and I'm not sure yet if I can swing the extra cost.

On another note, did you all see that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be closed all of Sept and It's a Small World will be closed for a part of it? Boooo....

Joining in!! Our reservations are for 9/1/16 to 9/11/16, staying at POR. In the past we have stayed at POP, all of the all stars, so we are very excited. This is a redemption trip as we just we in December and it was a fiasco!!! I just booked a ADR for BOG, it says it is on a party date. My question: My reservation is at 6:30 do I still need to have a party ticket?

Yes! I just went through the same thing. I'm guessing you are going on the 8th? You have to have a party ticket to eat at BOG at that time.

UPDATE: I just spoke with a cast member and he said you DO NOT need a MNSSHP ticket as long as the reservation is before the party start time of 7:00!

Not yet, so I need to have one for that time?? I guess that is why that one is open then, lol

Sorry, the website was telling me I did need one, but I just spoke with a cast member and he said as long as the reservation is BEFORE the party start time you do NOT need a MNSSHP ticket. So I would go and book it quick! lol
