DH and I thought something was off with Mario's freestyle, no in sync or something. We loved Emmitt's though! But we "knew" the judges would give Mario all 10s once they gave Emmitt a 9. They had to leave it even so the audience could decide.

To be fair, Emmitt is the true "non-dancer", Mario clearly has had dance training. In our eyes, that makes Emmet the winner because he has come the farthest and learned the most.

Emmitt has charisma and has come a long way in this competition. His moves are great and I love to watch him dance. However I believe that Mario has the sharper moves and is ultimately the better dancer.

It took me awhile to vote online and the phone lines are still busy!! Phone lines are still open for another 45 minutes though....so get your votes in!

I loved Emmitt's freestyle, but I am for Mario all the way.

Problem though, I can't get the internet voting to work. Anyone else having this problem? It won't let me even log in when I click on the Vote Now pictures.

They are both amazing dancers! I wish they could just declare it a tie and let them be co-champions.

Mario is fantastic and many of his routines were much more difficult than those of the other competitors on the show this season. In particular, that mambo routine he did a few weeks ago was spectacular. Emmitt is a great dancer too, especially for such a big guy. Over the course of the series, he has demonstrated better ballroom technique while still being a joy to watch. It always puts a smile on my face every time I see Emmitt dance. So in the end I decided to vote for Emmitt, but it was a difficult choice!

Emmit is great. We loved the freestyle.

I'll be honest, I thought Mario's freestyle was egregious. It lacked all grace. Doing the breakdance lowered the quality of the whole thing. It doesn't fit in a quality ballroom dance competition.

Emmit, on the other hand, was great, and I did not see the stumble, and I looked for it. (tivo) I did catch Mario's stumble in the first dance.

See, for me it was the opposite. The whole Hammertime segment - not once, but twice - was what really ruined Emmitt's freestyle for me. I can't understand why Cheryl picked that selection. I think Emmitt would have done much better with a different song and without all of that Hammer stuff.

And I hate to say, but I agree with Bruno. The lifts were ackward. But what really annoyed me? Carrie Ann saying to Bruno, "Can you do that?"

It's not his job to do the lifts, but to judge them. I thought that was SERIOUSLY uncalled for.

No matter what... These are the two best dancers out of every season thus far. I like them both and said from the beginning that they would be the final two. It is hard to decide who should win. However, I think Mario will take the win because he has a large fan base. Mario has the teenage crowd and the young adult crowd. But you never know...

I agree, Mario's dance just didn't look as smooth or something tonight, loved Emmitts though!

they had problems with the voting last week, too.

this is like American Idol's fiasco all over again. but i didn't watch the show tonight, so i didn't vote so i had no problems! lol.

Voted 45 times online, and twice by phone (after 500 calls I think, on 2 cell phones ) for EMMITT AND CHERYL!!!

For the record, I thought both couples deserved 90's, across the board. Darn judging system is leaving it up to us again.


Mario is fantastic, but cocky - like someone said Emmitt was? . I totally DISagree. Emmitt has class, charm, charisma. Mario is full of himself AND his partner. Cheryl DESERVED her compliments tonight. (She did take Drew to the trophy last year!)

Voters ages/groups will play a big part in this FINALE vote, I think!
