Just wanted to share an aerial view picture of the Polynesian

I dont think the lake was always this dirty. When I was there or at the CR or GF beach 20+ years ago I remember being in some shallow clear beach water with little fish swimming. I'll ask my dad when we're there.

I was just wonderin, you said you waited an hour and a half for O'Hana, was that without a PS or with one?? Also did you have any problem with the Air Conditioner, I remember people posting a way to override it so I was wondering if you used that to keep the room cold when you got back at the end of the day?

This is without PS. But that's okay, we walked around the place a little bit and took some pictures and just lounge and listen to the Hawaiian guy sing (I think he's Hawaiian). As far as the A/C, we didn't have any problem. Our room was always kept nice and cool.

Have you guys seen my latest trip review? It's on this board and has tons of pictures of the Polynesian and the POFQ too. If you haven't, you have to check it out!

Is it possible that the Hawaiian building rehab could stretch into December?

We are staying in Hawaii Concierge over Labor Day. The rehab begins in mid September( the 17th I think - check Tikiman's website) til Oct.11th!

I'm also hoping to make our stay in February at the Polynesian Concierge. I've run across a number of pictures, but I'm still curious about a few things... 1) Does anyone have any pictures of the garden view side of the concierge building? 2) I ran across a site ( http://www.luxurydisneyguide.com/accom_mka_dpr.htm ) and the pictures they have up of the new guestrooms look just great. Does anyone know if this is what the rooms in the concierge building will look like when they're done with refurbishments? Also, is it a pretty sure thing that they'd be completely done with refurbs for that building by February 2006? Quite frankly, the idea of getting a room like that for one of our WDW trips just tickles me pink.

Heh. Anyway, giddiness aside, if we end up not being able to stay concierge, does anyone have any information on the refurbishment schedule or whatnot for the rest of the resort? I sure am looking forward to being able to stay there; I think I fell in love with this resort after first getting to visit in 2001 with a friend and this would be my first time back, now with my fiancee.

Understood....However the rehab dates at the Polynesian keep changing. I've also noticed some are taking longer to finish than originally planned.
I read Tikiman's update this morning and feel a little bit more at ease about the Hawaii building rehab.
