Ah, I think he was genuinely happy for Kathryn. He has always talked highly of her, even though they are exes.

I read something where he said that Avatar would be at a disadvantage because he is a man and she is a woman.

Watching Mo'nique on E! she is cracking me up!

She's told the story of why she's wearing the outfit she's wearing. Hattie McDaniel wore a blue dress and a gardenia when she got her Oscar.

Streep was a thousand times better than Bullock. I suppose the academy feels this may be Bullocks only nomination after she appear in Ms. Cong III, and well Streep is probably good for at least another 10 nominations. I like SB, but it was just another rah, rah coach gives inspirational speech/player rises to the occastion movie. What Streep created was incredible. It wasn't an impersonation of Julia Child, it was Julia Child. I would love to see them develop a film just on the Julia aspect.

And as far as Clooney goes---he does NOT look overly enthrawled with his girlfriend. I give it to the start of summer and she is gone. If you caught shots of her sitting in her seat--no class at all, sat as if she was sitting at a baseball game or the movies, all slouched. She look oh so very bored, didn't smile when the talked about Clooney (and he didn't even look at her after the little speech by his co-star), and had to be prompted to rise for a stand up ovation--real class act.

He said on the red carpet she can't understand english. Whatever, I don't think she's pretty and no, I'm not jealous. There are men I find more attractive than him in Hollywood, though he isn't hard on the eyes.

I think that is just what is being said--I am pretty sure GC actually speaks very little Italian even though he lives there, he has made the comment a number of times, even joking the women who cooks for him tries to teach him, but he still can't get it. I seriously doubt they don't ever talk. She is a semi-famous model, tv personality so I think she understands a good but of english. And even he you don't speak the language you don't have to sit and look bored to tears and like an ice queen.
