I'll also be rooting for Juno's Diablo Cody and Ellen Page.

not to mention Ratatouille!

Our Oscar party starts in 4 hours! Can't wait!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen all the nominated pictures, but certainly have my favorites in some categories...

Best Picture: No Country for Old Men. I haven't seen TWBB yet, but I can't imagine being more immersed in it than I was "No Country". Juno was a good movie too, just not Best Picture timber IMO.

Actress: Julie Christie. I was blown away by "Away From Her". I think Sarah Polley and Gordon Pinsent got teh shaft by not getting nominated for this movie. Ellen Page gets honorable mention for "Juno", but I credit her role more to direction and writing.

Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem Just an outstanding depiction of evil

Adapted Screenplay: Coen Brothers They did a great job bringing the novel to life. To me it seemed more of a triumph in writing than it did directing, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got that award too. (Can you tell how much I like "No Country"? )

I could not care less who wears what, so that part of the Oscars is lost on me.
