November 9th - 15th 2012, Wilderness Lodge. Had to book over phone as website was not including free dining.
Lady on phone asked if I wanted to add high floor request, said yes to get request in early and thats one less job to do.

hey wood suk How did you get FD for that time in Nov /2012:confused3

We've got free dining for then as that's the offer running in the UK at the moment, so I'd imagine that's how woodsuk got it too?

Not sure how the post I replied to had ended up below my post?!

I'll be booking when we return from our Dec. trip..........hoping it works out to add a couple more days then I was planning to.

I just booked our 2012 trip!!! Please add me to the list! :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

Oct. 30 - Nov. 9 at Pop Century (hoping to upgrade later)

Just booked through DVC today! yeah!

We own at BLT and just booked a 2 bedroom lakeview for November 9-17th. We are taking my parents down. It's me, DH and my 4yo son too. Then, he'll have just turned 5 (on 10/30).

We just returned from a great week at WDW in mid October. Can't wait to go back. Only 11 months to go. :rotfl::lmao:;) But I have my planning spreadsheet started. Yeah, I'm one of those OCD people. :thumbsup2 Will also subscribe to the other codes thread mentioned.

On our October thread, we also started a private FB group too. It was a lot of fun and we all still keep in touch through FB too. Let me know if anyone is interested in doing that too.

Hi all!

We just booked the BWV today for our trip 11/13-11/20. It'll be my first family trip in over 10 years! My parents, my bother, my husband and I will all be there. DH and I will actually arrive on 11/11 and tent camp at FW for two nights ahead of time. It'll be our first time ever at FW!

DH and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary and my dad will be celebrating his birthday.

The rest of the family will be flying down on 11/13, but DH and I are driving and leaving on 11/9 and camping for one night where we got married in Shawnee National Forest in Southern IL, then staying with family for one night near Knoxville, TN, then driving the long way through the mountains and finally arriving late on 11/11.

We've been planning this trip for 6 months already so 11 months away feels pretty good!:thumbsup2

I so agree with you. Hubby and I always go the week after Thanksgiving. :goodvibes

How are the crowds this week, typically? It seems like a really convenient time for us to go since we could start driving down Friday and it would be a fun way to start the holidays and we could even Christmas shop there... but is it a popular week as far as off season weeks go? I remember there being a thread devoted to people that specifically go this week and we have been spoiled by crowds. We were planning on Jan or Feb 2013 but now DH is thinking Nov... I think 2013 just sounds soooo far away ;)

Well for anyone going in mid November that includes the weekend of November 9-11th, you might want to know that Disney just moved the Wine & Dine Marathon weekend to that weekend. BOO! I am already booked Nov 9-17th and now it is going to be more crowded that weekend with the marathon crowds.

They added a new Twilight Zone 10 mile run (well brought it back) and are doing that one the first week of F&W, which is when the Wine and Dine marathon usually is, so the Wine and Dine got bumped back.

So disappointed. It is already Festival of the Masters weekend and now this. Talk about busy. Guess we will plan some pool time and less visited/less popular stuff that weekend then.

Here is the news story- just announced today.

Please add me!

Had to cancel the Feb 2012 trip. Knew that I was going to WDW next year, as I am going to earn my Coast to Coast medal. Now that they have announced the new dates for the Wine & Dine 1/2, I booked the trip this morning. I am hoping for free dining.

Staying at POFQ (home sweet home) from 11/7 to 11/14.

I have never been at this time of year, can anyone tell me if the Christmas decorations are up at this point?

(please ignore the ticker at the bottom, I need to change that..)

I'm pretty sure the Christmas decorations will be up for at least part of your trip...the first MVMCP is usually within the first week or so of November (or so it's been in the past)

Hey Shunasee, I will be there at POFQ around the same time Nov11-16,The last few years MVMCP has started around Nov8,I was there same week back in 2008 there was plenty of Christmas Decorations up.:santa:

We'll be there Nov 10-17! 6 adults and 1 child...can't wait! My DH and I were there last year around the same dates and now next year we'll be able to take the whole fam!

early congrats on the coast to coast!

i am pretty sure you will be able to catch one of the first MVMCPs. the first one this year was tuesday, november 8th, followed by the 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th. so I am going to go out on a limb and hope the first MVMCP is going to be Tuesday, :santa:November 6th! just my guess though.

How was it? We are going to be there next year November 12-17. We thought about moving the trip to December, but decided not to.

New York 1 - love that resort. Other than 1 night at Animal Kingdom, I have always stayed at POFQ. Its like going home. :)

Exwdwcm - Thanks! I am doing the Tinkerbell 1/2 at the end of January and my mom wants to do the DLR 1/2 labor day weekend.

Does it get horribly crowded during marathon weekends? I know here at the DRL, the weekend they do the labor day, its crazy busy, but we dont have as much space here.

As I am going with my mom and best friend, i am the planner. Mom has only been to WDW for 3 days back in 2007 and the BF went once when she was a child, so its been like 20 years.
