Just booked through DVC today! yeah!

We own at BLT and just booked a 2 bedroom lakeview for November 9-17th. We are taking my parents down. It's me, DH and my 4yo son too. Then, he'll have just turned 5 (on 10/30).

We just returned from a great week at WDW in mid October. Can't wait to go back. Only 11 months to go. But I have my planning spreadsheet started. Yeah, I'm one of those OCD people. Will also subscribe to the other codes thread mentioned.

On our October thread, we also started a private FB group too. It was a lot of fun and we all still keep in touch through FB too. Let me know if anyone is interested in doing that too.

Did part 1 today to earn my Coast to Coast Medal. (since i cant really move, thought the banana could do it for me)

My girlfriend and I did the Tinkerbell Half Marathon at the DRL this morning. It was her first and my second. Now to start paying down the 11/12 trip, and sign up for the WDW Wine and Dine half marathon (3/18 is registration), to complete our goal for this year.

So the trip is myself, my mother and my best friend. Mom has been to WDW once for 3 days and the BF once growing up, both have left it to me to plan everything, which I am *very* good with. Cant wait till it just a bit closer and we can start figuring out where to eat!!

Joining in. We'll be at AKV Jambo House from November 11th to November
17th for our daughters first trip. So far there is just DH, me and DD going, but my in-laws might join us since we booked a 2 bdrm.

So I already changed our plans, we'll be in a 1 bdrm at AKV and from the
10th to the 17th now since my in-laws probably won't be coming. I'm also planning on adding the 8th and 9th once the 7 month window opens up (we also have SSR points).

So we'll most likely be there from the 8th to the 17th of November.

Woo hoo, quite a few of us going that week! Here's hoping for low crowds! I know the 9th, 10th and 11th will be busy, but the rest of that week should be fabulous!

We are going Nov. 9-19. This is our 6th trip, but our first stay off site. My DH booked a villa at the Vista Cay/ The Isles at Cay because we don't have any more DVC points for a trip again this year and he wanted to get Annual Passes when we went just now in Jan. He first booked over Thanksgiving but he didn't know it, I changed that, but know nothing about the place. He said he can cancel without penalty until Oct. Any one been there? We want to do Harry Potter, which we have never done, and I think it is closer to Universal. He has never showed any intrest in the planninng of our vacations so I don't want to shoot it down, it just makes me nervous, I like Disney taking care of everything. I am very happy just to go back! Just saw that we will be there part of Jersey week, will this also effect the crowds at Universal? Our thinking was to do Harry potter first then end with Disney, because we know we will have a great time there. Any info would be wonderful.

Congrats on booking! I don't know anything about Vista Cay- here's hoping it is great. I assume Jersey week could affect crowds at Universal too- but hopefully not too bad. Ending with WDW is a great choice! I can't wait to check out HP at Universal sometime when our little one is older.

We added a day to our trip. It is now Nov 26 thru Dec 3.

We now might not be going to Universal. I'm not going to change my ticker until we are sure. I checked the height requirements for some of the rides and my DS is not tall enough to ride the 4 big ones. He would be very unhappy to have to sit them out while I ride with his sisters. DH does not do many thrill rides. He just was tall enough to ride Rock N Roll Rollercoaster and Mission Space this pass trip and he had to ride them over and over! The trips before he was so mad not to get to ride. So I was thinking we might just wait till he is taller and after they expand the Potter part of the park before we go. I think we are still going to try to go to Kennedy Space Center for a couple days. He is all about space stuff. With the AP it is just hard to go somewhere else when Disney days are already paid for. DH wanted to go to Busch Gardens, when I told him it was in Tampa Bay and has big rides and the price he said he thought it was gardens to just walk through. This is why I do most of the planning. But I love the man for taking me to Disney!!!

Which Anniversary? Make sure you get an Anniversary button from the front desk when you check in. MY BIL and SIL got one our last trip and they got lots of attention from CMs.

It will be our 6th Anniversary! We were there last year for our 5th and had the buttons and got so much attention not only from the CMs but even other guests it really added to the magic.
