++ The OFFICIAL November 2012 Trip Planners ++

Added you to the list! :)

Thank you. :thumbsup2

DH doesn't care about that stuff. He'll wear almost anything I get him, and he knows the kids will love if we all match one day.

I'm thinking about seeing if I can get my DH to do this one day. But it is just the two of us. :goodvibes

I only realised this morning that they only have one of the waterparks open between October and March, bit sad now as was really looking forward to both of them!

It seems that I read somewhere that one is closed for maintenance. Not sure though. :confused3

I was wondering this myself because we've never been to the water parks at Disney and it would have been great to go. Which one is it that is still open?

I don't think they've announced for 2012 as yet, but apparently they are closing Blizzard Beach from 30th of October for 3 months, then it's reopening and Typhoon Lagoon is closing for 3 months.

We'll be going in November now as well. We are going to be at WDW from 11/12-11/17, are planning at staying at the FWC.
This trip has made so many changes already. The original idea was to go in November for our oldest DS's 15th bday. I was in the hospital with him for a week before I had an emergency c-section with him at 32 weeks. When they would tell me to "calm down" I would think about one day taking him to WDW. I can think of no better place to celebrate his 15th bday. Then we moved it to May, and I made several resort changes after booking it. Tomorrow I'm going to call and change it back to November. The plan is to hurry and get to WDW to spend the week before Thanksgiving there. Then slowly come home and see some other things in FL and on the way home.
Hopefully, they will have free dining for Nov 2012 and we can upgrade it to the DlxDDP.

I think a lot of us are hoping for the free dining :rotfl: I'll add you to the front page and hopefully you'll be joining us in November for sure!

Thanks. My DH and I talked about it more today and it's a for sure change. I've just been working on school work all day, and taking a quiz. I'm going to have to wait until after school tomorrow to make it official with Disney. My DH usually doesn't get all gung-ho excited about a WDW trip, but now that we're going in November, he is.

Did you get booked?! :goodvibes I understand about school. Me and DH are both currently in school and working so it makes it tough to get things done sometimes. I just keep telling myself that my reward for this hard work is Disney :rotfl: That usually gets me through the day!

We finally settled on our dates.

Actually arriving in Oct. now.

So Oct. 28-Nov. 7.....staying at OKW

Just like DisneyClown, 2012 is a reschedule for a 2011 trip that won't happen :sad1:

But now it's planning time all over again, for what is planned to be Nov. 24-Dec. 16 trip (including travel and Universal, so in Disney from Nov. 28-1 Dec.14).

If able to, will rent points to stay in BLT.

Not sure about resort yet...

I added you to the front page. Welcome! Do you have some options picked out for the resorts?

Beginning of the year we were looking at March 2012, but have changed to November 2012, looking at staying 11-18th Wilderness Lodge. Hopes of Little Mermaid/Beasts Castle up and running by then.

archdandy : thanks for the add and the welcome! :)

I actually made a few changes in the post (sorry to make you change stuff already! :rotfl:)

As I now say in my post, we want to stay in BLT (through rented points or it wouldn't be affordable!). If we have a problem with that for some reason, probably AKL as it's the cheapest of DVCs... Mama always wanted to stay at the Contemporary, and we love the idea of the monorail so close!

I forgot to come back to this thread, but yes we finally have it changed to November. I can't wait!! I know the parks won't be totally decked out for Christmas, but even a little bit will be cool. I house sat/ dog sat for my sister, bil, mom and dad last week, so I got my first draft of an ADR schedule down. They went to Estes Park, CO for Elk Fest and I got a break from all the crazyness. I'm still considering getting DS a cake for his bday, but I just wonder if it'll be a waste since we'll have the DlxDDP. Plus we are going to go to MVMCP on his bday, so I don't want to have to worry about a cake.

Actually, I didn't want to go back to school. I kept telling my DH that I didn't need a degree to be a sahm. Plus right now my view on schooling is kind of jaded. My DH worked his rear off to get his Bachelor's degree in Networking and Telecommunications Management, then his Master's degree in something IT (can never remember exactly, but it's something network related), and is one class short of his 2nd Master's degree (a MBA) all while working 40+ hours. He was out of work for almost 2 years. The people that were interviewing him, didn't have near the education he did. His biggest problem was he didn't have any certifications, and I believe his weight was an issue as well. I can't even begin to tell you the number of over the phone interviews he had that the person told him that the "in person" interview was only a formality because there was no more perfect person for this job. Then he would go in for the interview, and all of a sudden this non-existent more perfect person would have appeared. I have him telling me that I need a degree, but all I see is his history of getting us into a ton of debt for nothing. He's now working for his father's family appliance repair business, which he could have done without the schooling. Sorry for the rant. Anyway, he promised that once I got a good paying job with my degree plan, then we could save up and buy into DVC, get APs and go to WDW a couple of times a year. This trip in November is a kind of insentive to get me through. I'm only at 25/126 credits needed to graduate and with the not great attitude towards schooling, DH thought a WDW in the middle of it would help. That before the trip, it gives me the insentive to keep going b/c if I don't do well in school, we don't go. Then once we've gone, being there will help me hurry and finish school so we can get back again, b/c we can't go back until I graduate.

Well it's working. I just looked at my grade and I have an A in the dreaded Statistics class.

Also, I noticed your siggy that you've gone down another pound. I think that deserves a dancing banana. I need to take you example on that too. I have until next November to get some of this weight off and be in good enough shape to walk around WDW.
