Jill - Congratulations on the weight loss
. I should go to weight watchers. I sabotage myself. I was below my prepregnancy weight and just started eating badly after I realized my weight was okay. I could really use to take off a few pounds before summer. Mainly, I would really like to get back in shape but I just don't have the time. I love JP's new picture. What a sweet little face he has!
lissawynn - It is just that time of year when students get lazy and teachers get frustrated. Mine are the exact same way. I can explain something 15 different ways and they still don't understand. Of course, those are the same kids that are completely inattentive in class. Our marking period ends tomorrow and they have been driving me nuts. After almost 10 years in teaching, I can basically tell that they will stop working right after they get back from Christmas break. First marking period is always the "honeymoon" because they are all jazzed to be back in school. Good luck!
SL - I'm sorry about your DH's grandmother
.
Well, I was taking a break from my NC research. It's overwhelming. I'm checking out the schools now. I made the mistake of looking at the teachers' salary guides. They're awful. I would be taking a 10K pay cut. I don't plan on teaching down there anyway. I want to get my masters and do something else. I love teaching but I don't want to teach in a new state.

(cool I just to use that smiley) Congradulations! The weight takes some time, don't worry it will come off if you work at it.
The only really interesting thing going on in my life right now is Lily, she is so funny and doing new things daily. That girl is really walking great now too.

This is beyond frustrating at this point. The company has admitted that they have goofed twice and that we always should have been covered but someone put something in their "system" to deny us which puts us in an automatic appeal process. They 'supposedly' sent us a letter and a letter to the doctor's office saying that we are covered but it never arrived. They then 'supposedly' faxed my husband's HR department, my husband, and the doctor's office a letter with approval but it hasn't come. It is soooo messed up at the moment and the pharmaceutical company cannot release the drug to the doctor's office without approval or $1600 from us. The frustrating thing is that John Paul needs his shot within a 28 to 35 day window from his first one and that is supposed to be next week. The lady at the insurance company said "yes, they messed up" and we should have never had these problems at all but there is nothing she can do about it at this point. Ugh!
I tell ya, I am ready to call the state insurance commissioners office at this point. This is negligence and we are going to be out a load of money if we have to cover this again. I wonder why I even bother to pay for insurance coverage if they aren't going to cover what is in our contract.
With both my dd's it took me a few months to take off the weight, but with John Paul it will take me much longer. I am almost 38 so age has something to do with it being harder to lose the weight and I started off the pregnancy about 15 lbs. higher than I like. I gained about 20 lbs. with the pregnancy and lost it all within two weeks (I got pretty sick), but the holidays really killed me with gaining weight.
