jill - That's such a cute "letter" to Santa. I also wanted to tell you JP is quite a cutie. I'm sure he was a kid and adult magnet at your girls' school. I hope all goes well with his tests.

A day off is looking more and more promising. I am really worried that too many people will call off tomorrow and I'll get stuck covering classes all day long. We'll see if I get anything done tonight! An afternoon nap would be SO nice. Do you think Santa can bring me a few certificates for those?

Btw, ladies, I forgot to tell you about DH and my Christmas gift. Apparently he went shopping last Sautrday. He told me he didn't buy anything. The other night he was being "cute" (when he thinks he's funny but I think he's being a pain). He said he was going to get my gift and stick it in the tree. I told him to go ahead and do it since I didn't think he bought me anything. So he walks out in the living room with a box stuck under his shirt and sticks it in the tree. I got kind of ticked off b/c there is no way I could wait to open my gift until Saturday. He took it out of the tree and hid it wherever it was before. It looked like a necklace or bracelet box, too. He's just as much of a stinker as his son.

Well, it's official! Kylie is crawling now. I said she was starting to try to crawl the other day. Well, her sleep schedule has been sooo messed up the past week that she has been waking up earlier and earlier. Last night was the first night I put her to bed on time in a week so she thought it was time to get up at 3 a.m.! She also decided that was the time to really start crawling! Of course she decided to do that in the middle of the night when I was exhausted, lol. Anyway, it has been a fun day trying to keep her out of things. I finally managed to get her interested in her teething beads and her pooh book that sings and talks that my mom gave her for Christmas. Before that I was chasing her trying to keep her out of the cat food, away from the computer cables, etc.

I should mention that as exciting as it is that she is finally crawling this is probably the worst time she could have picked to finally do it. I woke up sooo sick! I have the beginnings of a sinus infection. I get one every year due to how much our weather changes this time of year. I got a really bad one last year on Thanksgiving day and couldn't really take much medicine for it since I was preggo. This year it looks like I will have one on Christmas and I don't even have any medicine in the house and I don't want to brave the last minute shoppers while I feel this way to go get some! Oh, de javu (sp.?) for sure! It always starts out with a terrible sore throat (which I currently have) and gets progressively worse from there. It is so much worse being sick while having an infant b/c you can't just do what you want (ie: sleep!) but you all know that already, don't you? I am hoping Kylie will take a nap soon b/c all I want to do is sleep away this cold!

On top of that my cat broke a picture frame this morning! I am sooo sick of this particular cat! He is literally the biggest nuisance...he scratches my furniture, carpet, walls, and gets into the garbage, in my tree, on the tables, counters, etc. And of course he breaks things. I have 4 cats and I love the other 3 (although probably not as much as I did before I had Kylie) but for some reason I just can't seem to learn to like this cat and I have had him for 4 years now! I bought a spray bottle to spray him with when he acts up. It works only to the extent that when he sees me coming he will run but he will eventually do the same things over again! I told dh that if the water bottle doesn't work that we are getting rid of him. Dh can't stand this cat either so I think he will be happy to know I have decided to get rid of him! I have been keeping him mainly out of guilt but I am over that now.

I am also making dh get rid of that dog he had to have! He doesn't pay any attention to it and it is eating us out of house and home! Seriously, I could buy a whole bunch of diapers or something for the amount that dog eats! I told him it has got to go. But I did buy him presents in place of his dog. The dog was originally going to be his present but since I am making him get rid of it I bought him a few presents the other day. Oh, and we are getting rid of the dachshund that we rescued over the summer too. I did my part by keeping her from starving, now I am giving her to someone who can fully appreciate her. This means we are downsizing from 8 to 5 animals. Can you tell I have had it with animals?!

Anyway, I am fairly certain this will be my last post till after the holidays. We are going to my dad's tomorrow evening (and may end up spending the night if it gets too late since he lives an hour away and we aren't going till dh gets off work). Saturday will be our little family's day, just the 3 of us. And Christmas we have 2 get-togethers! So I doubt I will be on here till after then. So Merry Christmas everyone! Oh, great, Kylie has crawled to my shoes and is trying to put them in her mouth...sigh...gotta go!

Nucpharm, I don't think you're crazy, but then again I took Madison to Disney when she was a little under 3 months old and am considering going to a MNSSHP next fall and we'll be in your position with a 2 month old and 2yo too.

Lissawynn, cute that your husband did get you a gift and stuck it in the tree. Now you've got to wait a few days to see what it is!

This year is the 1st year in awhile that my husband actually got me a gift before Christmas. He's usually very late with getting gifts (I buy for everyone else so you'd think he could manage getting 1) but this year I saw in his e-mail an order confirmation for a dress from Ann Taylor (I know, I shouldn't have read it, but I was looking for our flight info to Nashville and was just going message to message and it opened automatically). He said he ordered me something and then went shopping with Madison to get me something else. Well I was happy he actually got me stuff on time this year, but now I'm thinking I won't get much use out of the dress. Actually, that's my new gripe for today. Since Madison started preschool I went back to working out at the gym everyday for an hour or so and by the time we left for NJ I had lost all of my baby weight (only took 21 months, geez) and actually was wearing sizes smaller than I did before Madison. About a month ago I bought my 1st size 4 pants in 5 years. Well now I can't wear any of my new stuff! Ugh, well, okay, I can right now, but not for much longer, and I just bought so much new stuff thinking I'd get about a year or so out of them before the next baby. So now I'm a little annoyed today thinking of the money I just wasted. Oh well, at least now I have incentive to gain a heck of a lot less weight with this baby than the last one, so maybe I can get back into my new clothes next winter!

Madison is painting my mom's dogs so I should probably go get on that!

Hey Ladies.
I am home for the second day in a row with the stomach flu. Yesterday was awful. I had a 102.5 degree fever that I could not shake. Today it's gone down but my stomach is still a mess.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'm totally overwhelmed by getting sick as I have not yet finished my Christmas shopping (no presents yet for DH's family) or cleaning and we are hosting both Christmas eve (DH family) and Christmas (my family). Not to mention I haven't held Jace in two days which breaks my heart as he knows I am here but probably doesn't understand why I don't go near him.

Anyway, enough of the pity party! Glad to hear that Aidan is feeling better. Hope Tyler is too and that John Paul doesn't get sick. Congrats justhat! I think that is great news! DisneyPhD: I'm an LMFT and I hear you about all family looking to you to solve and handle stuff. Hang in there. Tasha, that's great that Kylie is crawling. Alice, so glad DH will be home soon (i'm sure not soon enough though).

Jace is doing well as far as I know. DH is having a tough time being my nurse and Jace's only parent the past few days. He has off tomorrow at least and I am hoping to go back to work.

Sorry I didn't include everyone from all of the pages since I last ventured on. I'm sure I won't be able to get back on until after the holidays, so HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and yours!

:rotfl2: -Fiber Optic Bonsai trees--------- :rotfl2: that's a classic!

Joats- so sorry you are sick! I hope you feel better in time to get what you need, done.

lissawynn- go ahead, take the day off tomorrow, why not! :teeth: And LOL about you saying something like, "My husband thinks he's being cute, but I think he's being a pain..." I remember that feeling well! I hope you get something pretty. My DH keeps talking about getting me some nice sized diamond studs when he gets home, but I would rather pay some bills off.

Tasha- that cat sounds like a pain. And YAY for Kylie for being mobile!

Jill- GREAT poem. I most relate to wanting a WAIST back! Please Santa!

Nucpharm- I took Molly to WDW in Sept. She was 6 months. The only hard part was it was HOT and it made is tedious sometimes to nurse her in that heat. Some people looked at me like I was crazy, and I overheard a gay couple talking to each other, saying I was insane for bringing a baby to WDW. But, hey, we all didn't mind! I'm not going to make my life stop and not do ANYTHING just because I have young children. It's just a different pace that you have to take, but still can absorb quite a bit of Disney magic! :wizard:

DisneyPhD- we still have a few Fuddruckers here ( gotta be careful when pronouncing that! lol) & their burgers & onion rings are fab! Glad your brother is still doing well.

Off to scrub the floors!

I am officially done teaching until after the new year. My last class is watching Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas . This was one of my favorite movies when I was younger, but my kids just don't seem to "get" it. I think nice holiday movies have gone by the wayside. They'd much rather watch Santa commit ritual sacrifices and pick off holiday shoppers with a high-powered rifle from atop a building.

Anywho, I am really interested in going home to take a nap. The odds of that happening, though, are not good.

Alice - Have fun scrubbing your floors. I'll be sure to let all of you know what is in the box when I open it this weekend. My DH actually told me he likes to get me fired up. What a goober!

joats - I hope you're feeling well very soon and that you get all of your shopping done!

justthat - What color did the dogs become? I bought a bunch of new clothes before I found out I was pg with Jimmy. I also spent a small fortune of bras b/c I had lost about 10 pounds. I can fit in the clothes, but the bras are still a little too small. I'm sure you'll be back in those clothes after the new little one arrives.

tasha - Yay Kylie for crawling! :cheer2: Also, about your cat scratching stuff...have you ever tried to trim your cat's nails? I do this with my cats. I just cut off the thin sharp part with nail clippers. It has made them less inclined to mark up the furniture.

Justhat - Fiber optic bonsai trees?? Wow, did you open it in front of him? I don't know how I would have feigned excitement.

Lissawynn - Take the day off. I would love to if I had enough days.

Tasha - Congrats on Kylie crawling. Aidan is so lazy. He just flops himself around on the floor and then cries. He wants to stand all the time. I think he'll skip crawling altogether. That's what my middle son did.

Jill - Tha letter is so cute! The p.s. is very true.

joats - I hope you feel better soon. What a time to get sick!

My DS5, Alex, lost his first tooth yesterday. He was so cute. He was so excited between losing the tooth and knowing Christmas will be here soon that he was acting like he was on crack. I never saw him so hyper. He would not go to sleep because he was stalking the tooth fairy. My DH almost got caught twice! Finally, he fell asleep, but he woke up and ran into my room at 3 am to show me what he got. He was so excited that I could hear him continue to giggle in his bed. It was adorable. The kids had all their school Christmas parties today. I'm so glad that is over with. I was baking like crazy last night. I have so much wrapping left to do. DH will be out videotaping a board of education meeting tonight. I hate his new job. It seems like he's always out taping at night and I'm left alone with the kids.

Hello everybody,
Boy you guys were moving today :cool1: !

Katrina and Alex are both sick :guilty: . They are both so stuffy and have a terrible cough. No fevers though and they are eating fine. I am crossing my fingers that this goes away before Christmas and that I don't catch it. I don't have time to get sick!

Tomorrow I am baby-sitting a very "challenging" child from 7 to 5. I'm so not looking forward to it as I have a ton of stuff to get done around here, mainly house cleaning since I am hosting on Sunday. We will be gone all day on Saturday so I really don't know when it is going to get done. I was contemplating cleaning tonight but who am I kidding thinking it will actually STAY clean until Sunday ;) .

Jill,
LOL at that e-mail. I want one of those fridges with a hiding compartment for talking on the phone :flower: ! I hope you can get the insurance to pay for JP's shots. How horrible that they are giving you a hard time.

Justthat,
I can understan your feelings of apprehension on this preg. but try not to worry. Maddison will handle it just fine :grouphug: . I think having a sibling is a wonderful gift for her.

DisneyPhd,
Enjoy your dinner out tonight. I think it's great that you help out your brother with the kids.

Robin,
LOL on the Wendy's pecans! I know it's the thought that counts but your neighbors sound a bit strange ;) .

Tasha,
Yay for Kylie crawling. Now is the time to invest in a baby gate if you don't have one already :) . Trust me, it's the only thing that kept me sane with my DS.

Joats,
Sorry to hear that you are sick. What a stinky time of year for it too. I hope you feel a lot better by tomorrow.

Lisawynn,
Enjoy your day off tomorrow. You will have to let us know what was in that box when you find out. Did you ever find that movie for your husband that you thought you might have thrown out?

Diskim,
I hope Aidan is feeling better. Poor little guy. Congrats to you DS on losing his first tooth :) . I remember how excited my Alex was when he lost his first one too. Of course now it's old hat since he has lost four of them :earseek: .

Nucpharm,
Hope you have a great trip! Drive safely and have fun  .

Hi to Tamie, 2sweetangels, Hillbeans, Zalansky and anyone else I may have missed :wave2: .

Oh I just had to do a quick post:
Jace got his two bottom teeth in!! I thought they looked as though they were going to pop on tuesday am (which is the last time I got to hold Jace as I've been so sick). Apparently, DH knew yesterday and forgot to tell me! Oh I was so mad. It's hard enough not being able to cuddle with him but to forget that big news - ARGH!!! Anyway, I saw them tonight...too cute!!! I can't wait till I'm better so I can really check them out.

DisKim: Congrats on Alex's lost tooth.
Val: Sorry to hear the kids are sick. Hope they are on the mend soon.

I wish I could stay home tomorrow as I still do not feel that great but I don't have any more time off available as I took such a long maternity leave. So I will have to go in regardless.

Have a good night!

Good morning all. Yes, I'm at home today. Let's just all say a quick prayer that I don't get some horrible URI in a few months and have to use the remaining 5 sick days that I've got.

Well, I had a rather exciting afternoon yesterday. We had an assembly so our kids would know what we were doing today. Another teacher came downstairs to get me b/c my friend, Jen, who is pg called in hysterics. She took yesterday off to have her level II ultrasound. She has had some kind of cyst since the beginning of her pregnancy. At every appointment her dr. kept insisting that it was not harmful to her or the baby. He kept telling her that it would eventually just go away. Last week he told her the same thing. So after her ultrasound her dr. tells her the baby is fine, BUT the cyst has blown up 2cm since last week. It wasn't the kind of cyst he originally thought it was b/c that kind wouldn't blow up like this one did. They immediately sent her pics to a "better" group in the Lehigh Valley (where I had Jimmy). As she was driving home to her parents' in Pittsburgh, they call her and tell her she has to turn around and come right home. She has to go to LVH on Friday to get them to look at it. Then they begin to give her "worst case scenario" information. IF they have to remove the cyst, she could go into labor. IF she goes into labor, she could lose the baby, etc, etc. So she totally freaks out and calls me.
Our poor secretary couldn't even understand her she was crying so much.
So I left school and went to see how she was.
I'm kind of ticked that her dr. never really sat her down and gave her a better explanation of what was going on. She didn't know what the cyst was actually going to do to the baby. She didn't know if there was a danger to the baby if it ruptured.
I tried the best I could to calm her down, but since I never had any problems when I was pg, there wasn't a lot I could do.
She's going in today at 10 A. M., so if you all could say a little prayer for her, it would be appreciated.

Jimmy is very snotty and congested, hence my excuse for using a sick day. I have to get the boogie sucker out later, and I'm not looking forward to it.

I have tons of cleaning to do and possibly some baking, too.

I'll check back in with you all later!

Yay Jace! Two teeth down and many more to go!

DisKim - Love your son stalking the TF. Good for him!

Val - Good luck with your challenging child! I hope you get some stuff done.

Yesterday was my office Christmas party (and we can actually call it that since everyone celebrates Christmas). We did a Secret Santa exchange and played a few games. Since it was on a Thursday, and I don't work Thursdays, Lucas came with me. He had a blast and everyone loved him. My friend from work adopted around the same time I had Lucas and her DS is just a little older. They were pretty funny together. They'd stare at each other for a while, then Lucas would try to grab the poor kid's toy.

My MIL really wants to buy Lucas a walker for her house. I don't particularly like walkers - I think he can get the same benefits from an exersaucer and he stays in one place. I don't think I'll put up a fight, though. DS takes Lucas to her house once a week and I stay home so I guess it's not that big a deal. I just worry that since she's kind of scatterbrained, she'll forget to close the basement door or put a gate up or something.

DisneyPhD - Have a great time at WDW!
T16GEM - Good luck with your business. So sorry to hear about your uncle.
Alice28 - Glad your neighbors have decided to stay!
Hillbeans - How was NYC? I've never seen the tree. Someday... LOL
2sweetangels - Hope you're feeling better.
llij - Hope you work out your insurance issues. Cute letter, BTW.
lissawynn - How can they not get Emmet Otter?? It's a classic! Sigh...kids these days.
Zalansky - Congrats on your final days of work.
DisKim - Sounds hectic. I hope you're able to get some R & R.
Justhat - I laughed out loud reading about the fiber optic bonsai tree. Too funny!
Nucpharm - Have a safe trip!
Tasha - Congrats on Kylie walking! I feel for you about the animals. We have one cat and I think it's going to stay that way.
vald - Hope you're able to get your cleaning done.
Joats - Congrats on Jace's first teeth! Way to go!

I hope all our babies, siblings, and mommies feel better for the holidays!

Strawberry Lemonade - I agree with you on the walker, I am none too keen on them either, I am hoping that we get the Leap Pad exersaucer for Shelby so we can kill two birds with one stone - walking exercise and education!!

Alice28 - I'm so pleased that your neigbours have decided to stay - we had the same isssue with ours last year - unforunatley they sold their houseand moved, but we still see them regularly and their dd is just 5 months older than ours so it's nice on that aspect too.

DisneyPhD - Have a wonderful time at Disney - I wish we were going too!

Hillbeans - Did you have fun in New York? They do shopping trips to their from the UK - very expensive but I'd love to do one!!

llij - I love your letter! I hope all goes well with John Paul's injections etc.

Justhat - Do you have to get your FO bonsai out every year when they come at Christmas? MIL & FIL have a FO flower in their family room which I giggle at whenever we visit! I wonder what you will get this year! :)

Tasha - Kylie's doing well! Cats are a nightmare! I don't know what to do about Fraggle - he doesn't seem to be getting any better with his behaviour and I am seriously allergic to him again! I'm wondering if it's anything to do with my hormones etc!

Joats - Jace has teeth! Yay! I have been rubbing Shelby's gums today and she seems to get a bit of relief from it - so I am almost positive that she is beginning to teeth - early or what!!

Hi to anyone else that I have missed. I am off to clean my bathroom! How exciting!

Gems
xx

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the fiber optic bonsais were a bit strange. We didn't open them in front of him only because he didn't really hand them to us or say what box was for who. He just handed Madison her toy and then gave Joey his, but left mine and my mom's on the couch. I was busy helping Madison with hers, then I had to get ready to go to the 1st birthday party so I honestly didn't even notice that he brought stuff for me. He's a little odd like that. So when I got home that night after the birthday party and taking my 90 aunt out for her birthday I noticed there were 2 more boxes and that's when I opened them. Thank gosh he wasn't there cause I never would have been able to feign excitement either. Well maybe that's not true, cause I was so shocked tha tmay have come off as excitement. I plugged my mom's in and it got super hot after awhile so that aorta ended their use while Madison is around. I don't know what to do with mine though. If I leave it here at my mom's he's likely to find it and ask why I didn't take it home. But I really have no room for anything else in DC, I try to get rid of stuff all the time. We actually have to pay $50/month for a storage bin in our building cause we just have way too much random stuff. Hmm, maybe I can hide it somewhere in my room.

Congrats to Jace for getting 2 teeth!! Is it common for kids to get both the bottom teeth at once? Madison did that and I have read here that a few other babies did the same thing so I'm wondering if that's the normal sequence.

SL, that's cute that Lucas had fun with the other baby, even if he did steal some toys! I love that age, where they realize what other babies are and try to interact with them.

Lissawynn, that's really too bad for your friend, hopefully things work out for her at her appt today. I'll keep her in my thoughts that everything goes okay. I hope Jimmy feels better soon too and you enjoy your day off. We still have to use that nose bulb thing sometimes and Madison HATES it. We have a few of them so usually if we let her hold one of her own and 'bulb' a doll then she's okay and she'll let us do her own nose. Other times though she could care less what we offer her and she fights us, which usually leads to her winning at this point cause it's hard to hold down a kid her size.

Nucpharm I hope you have a great trip!

Tasha, I totally understand you about the pets. We only have 2 rabbits currently, but we had a mean little dog we adopted from a rescue group, but he passed away this summer. As sad as it was it was also a relief cause not only was he mean but he was more work. My mom has 3 cats and 2 dogs and as much as I love them there are times, like now, that I can't wait to be away from all the animals. The other night I mentioned taking a cat to the ER vet. Well it's this outside cat that my mom feeds who we think was hit by a car awhile back cause he was very, very handicapped. She's been trying to catch him for awhile since it got cold but no luck till Tuesday evening. We took him to the ER and after they examined him they said they had to put him down cause his leg was broken and then healed on its own in a bad way so they'd have to amputate it, but if they did that he couldn't really go back outside and since he's feral he can't be adopted. It was sad but at least he's out of his pain now. My mom's way soft when it comes to rescuing animals, and you sound the same way. I think it's a really nice quality to have!

I should go see what Madison is up to. She's downstairs with my husband so hopefully he's feeding her something. She got up late today, around 8am, and she's got this thing about not eating breakfast when she first wakes up so she hadn't eaten yet by the time I got on the computer. Oh, and the dog was painted in a neon pink glitter paint. Very cute look for a 40 pound beagle!

Lissawynn - Tell your friend not to worry. The same exact thing happened to me with Alex. I was put on bedrest and they monitored the cyst by ultrasound weekly. The bedrest allowed my body to relax and the cyst shrank on its own. I was told all of the exact same "worst case scenario" stuff by the doctors and cried my eyes out as well. After two weeks of bedrest, my cyst had shrunk and I was able to go back to work and carry on as normal. Alex is fine and 5 years old now. I don't know why doctors have to scare pregnant moms half to death. I hope you enjoyed your day off and I hope Jimmy feels better.

Vlad1977 - I hope the kids feel better soon

Joats - I can identify with going to work sick because of a lack of sick days. I hope you feel better soon!

Well ladies, I'm officially on Christmas vacation  :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :bounce: . I'm so excited to have a week off with Aidan. We're celebrating the beginning of break by going to the drive through light show. We do it every year. We listen to Christmas music all the way there and back and really get into the spirit. Now, if I could just get the rest of the wrapping done, I would feel like I can celebrate.

Hi everyone. My friend, Jen, called me from the hospital. Apparently the new drs who saw her today told her the cyst might be cancer. She is going to have surgery in two weeks when an oncologist can be there. She is done work for at least the next month or two depending on what happens. Next week she is having a bowel (sp?) clean-out. I don't know why b/c she didn't tell me.
One dr, who apparently never went to the class on people skills, told her that it would be better if the baby died now (at 21 weeks) rather than later on :earseek: . ***? Can you believe he actually said that?
She was told that there's a 95% chance that everything will be ok, but after that's dr's comment, she's a mess. She and her DH (my DH's cousin) are heading to her parents' house, and I hope she can relax for a day or two.

I am just praying that everything with both her and the baby is going to be ok.

I've been sucking greenish yellow stuff out of Jimmy's nose all day. I broke down and gave him some decongestant. I just want him to enjoy his first Christmas. He doesn't seem to feel that bad. He's still slamming his head off anything he can find. I can't figure out how that doesn't hurt him.

DisKim - Congrats on your vacation! I hope you enjoy every second with Aidan and your other kids! Just think, no more school for more than a week!

I cannot believe one human being would say this to another human being, much less a medical professional saying it to an already-fragile pregnant woman!!! I hope everything works out for your friend and her baby is ok.

Hi All -

NYC was so much fun yesterday - thanks for asking everyone!! Even with the transit strike, we got to Penn Station via NJ Transit train and then walked where we needed to go. We went up 33rd street to 57th or so for Rockefeller center, then back down to Broadway. We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp (the place was empty) and then went to Toys R us. Of course the baby had two poopy diapers so that was a little struggle changing him, but otherwise we had a nice day and it really put me in the christmas spirit. Here are some pics:

Gems - you should try to get to NYC one of these days. I know it's probably expensive, but it's so nice in the city around the holidays. It's usually really crowded but there is really nothing that compares to it.

Lisawynn - i'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I can't believe a doctor would say that to his patient. Some people really need to get a class in people skills - how horrible! Your friend must be a wreck. I'll send her along some thoughts and prayers that her and her baby will be ok.

SL - I didn't forget about your coupons, i've just not seen my friend yet - i'm hoping i'll see her over the weekend or early next week.

Joats - can't wait to see a pic of Jace's teeth! How exciting.

Take care everyone. I wish you all a safe, healthy and a very Merry Christmas!

Wow, I mean I'm sure the dr meant well in some way, but I can't imagine ever saying that to someone. My cousin lost a baby at 21 weeks and was devastated, as I imagine anyone would be. She was in a depression for about 3 months and never wanted to try for another baby again. This was in August 2004 and it was her 2nd pregnancy (her son will be 3 next month). She recently got pregnant again and is due in April and is estatic, but after what happened last time she was very, very nervous for a long time. I hope your friend makes it through the next couple of weeks without too much stress.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

I just wanted to pop in and say hi!

Hillary, sounds like you had a fun trip! Great pictures. You look adorable :) I look so pitiful in hats, you look very cute.

lissawynn - I'm so sorry about your friend, how scary. I'll keep her in my thoughts.

joats - yeah for Jace! Those bottom two teeth are so cute when they pop up.

I have a few more things I need to get done and then we are off to my SIL's tonight. The neighbors are coming over tomorrow morning to exchange gifts and then we have 2 get togethers tomorrow night, 3 on Sunday and 1 on Monday. Busy stuff! But fun!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy those babies!!! I can't wait to see pictures and hear all about everyone's celebrations.

I have a coupon for $10 off any Enfamil Next Step toddler formula. PM me if you want it. First PM gets it.

My principal stopped by the house to talk to me about my friend Jen. Since we work together, she wants me to talk to her about school. It's nice to have a boss who's so supportive of us. She just wants Jen not to worry about work. One of the retired social studies teachers will be coming in to take her place, and when she runs out of sick days, she can borrow from our sick bank.

I have gotten some laundry done today, but I'm saving the cookies for tonight when Jim can watch Jimmy. I'm also getting caught up on my junk tv shows. I have seen this week's Gauntlet and now I'm watching Project Runway.

tykes - Enjoy all of your holiday gatherings!

Hillbeans - I'm so happy to hear your had a good trip to NYC. What kind of stuff (aside from shrimp) do they serve at Bubba Gump's?
