Well, I just tried to order my Coach from Macys and no go. They are so unfair. Everyone is using their coupons in the store to get 20% off a Coach bag but they can't do it online. Our Macys doesn't have Coach so I'm out of luck.

Oh well, if that's my biggest problem in life then I'm okay.

loretta,

I can't believe your MIL did that. What a witch. Why is she like that? :confused3

I'd get the pictures back, too.

ETA-Bellacam, those pictures are just breathtaking. You all look so wonderful. You look amazing. I wish I looked like that a few weeks after giving birth. You have a beautiful family.

Happy Birthday Emma :bday: :tinker:

Zalansky- Thanks for the weather update. I haven’t even gone outside today or opened the curtains. In fact I woke up this morning showered, put some pj’s on and have been on the sofa ever since. Nothing like laying on a sofa all day surfing the net. Although I have a pretty valid excuse, cramps… I’ll remind you about the gym buck, I should probably put it in my blackberry as a reminder because I forget everything too. You need to go and get your pictures from that lady, it’s amazing that so many people have MIL issues.

BNB - Hope the storm isn’t too bad. That Elmo knows my name thing sounds pretty cool. How loud is it, I’ve only been looking at things that don’t make noise so that I can keep my sanity.

FF- The more I mentioned the harassment at my job the more it happened.

Justine & Zalansky - Thank you for posting your schedules, after seeing yours, I think I overdid the one I planned.

Justine- I hope Madison isn’t too bummed about the play date.

Tykes - very nice growth charts, I think i'll send you a PM later today after I show DP.

Welcome NYPrincess! :cool1:

Icebrat, you would think a company like that would be a little more 'with the times' as far as discrepancy laws! You should have filed a big time complaint.

Schedule for Molly (HA)- Wake up around 8ish
Breakfast
Sometimes she will watch a little Wiggles or other Disney/Nick show; other times she plays
10:45- we walk brother to the bus stop
11:00-12:30- this is usually errand time with Mommy if we have errands to do
Lunch either while we are out or when we get home
12:30-1:00- playtime or a little TV
1:00/2:00- goes down for a nap
She usually naps for a good 2-3 hours every day, thank GOD.
Gets up from nap between 4-5 and plays with brothers or just wanders around the house, being a terror. ;)
5:30/6- dinner time
8:00/8:30 bath or quick shower
9:00- night night!

And so far, she's the only one of my kids who needs a bedtime routine. She HAS to have her two Disney 'BABIES' (as she calls them) in her crib with her; HAS to have the ladybug Gymbo blankie; and HAS to have the little fisher price aquarium playing music. And her bottle of water. :confused3 She stands there and DICTATES to me over and over again until it's all in order. "BABY! BABY BABY!" or "BABA!!!!!!!! BABA!!!!!!!!!!! JUICE!!!!! (I put like a tablespoon of juice in her bottle of water). It's rather amusing, cause she doesn't even cuddle with the babies or HAVE to have the blankie on her, they just need to be in the crib. She's a funny one.

FF- She has so much hair, it's starting to get unruly. My mom says it's exactly how my hair was- kinda curly, kinda wispy, kinda straight, 100% crazy unmanagable. She needs a trim, but I'm hesitant to do it. I kinda want to wait for her first 'real' haircut at WDW- Sam got one once when he was 5 and it was really fun.

justhat- I will be happy to wax on about how great the WL after I get back. I do know that every time we visit it (since our honeymoon) I almost tear up when I first walk in that lobby- the music, the smells, the sounds- I feel like I'm first experiencing it all over again.I was telling DH last night that that was the first hotel I had been in that literally was kind of jaw dropping. I am no po-dunk- I have been in fancy hotels before, but that one is really special. I really hope my request for bunk beds is honored. When the reservationist asked me about special requests yesterday I was like, "Well, yes, I do! I need a nonsmoking room, adjoining to my parents, bunk beds for my boys and a crib....PLEASE!" :teeth: I've rarely had good luck with requests being honored, beyond the nonsmoking room, and adjoining.

Kim- sorry you lost your post! Dumb computer! :badpc:

Z- did your mother in law forget her age, and she thinks she's 13? That is ASSININE!

I had a horrible experience at Chili's. I don't even know if I want to type it out. Needless to say, when I collect my thoughts and write a nasty letter to the management. Short version- my credit/debit card had to be run THREE different times cause they couldn't get the damn total right- how hard is it to comp chicken crispers (I gave her my comp card from last weekend) and charge me for the half rack of ribs? Then she ripped up the credit slip copies, so I don't have a paper trail in case I am now charged with all three charges.... tried giving me only an appetizer of chicken crispers, then it took 10-15 minutes to somehow scrounge up a freaking ear of corn and a scoop of french fries. I was so mad....Molly was flipping out, Sam was not feeling well, and I was just trying to get an 'easy' lunch to go for $6. AND they almost forgot the honey mustard- had to remind not once, not twice, but THREE times for it.

Then Sam almost got run over in the mall parking lot by a mall golf cart that was a 'courtesy' shuttle. I swore at her- didn't mean to, but hey, when your kid almost gets his leg broken, sometimes it comes out. She said, "Well, the pavement is wet and the brakes are slippery!" In this totally nasty tone.I was fuming. Not, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" This is the torn up mall that I swore I wouldn't go to this holiday season. you can bet I am definitely not going back now, and that mall management will also be getting a letter from me about the courtesy shuttle driver.

:furious: :furious:

K, I'm done. I smell a poopy.

Have them get the coach bag from another macys and apply the discount. If my macys doesn't have something they've always located and got it at another location for me. Normally they offer the service, maybe they will do this for you as well.

Bella - The photos are lovely.

Robin - OMG, what a day! Write those letters, I would’ve been ready to kill someone if they almost hit my kid. Although, I’m almost always ready to kill someone when it comes to cars. LOL @ little Miss Molly, she is your little dictator, she’s a cute kid, I would die laughing every night with that and her shiii kuunnn.

Okay, so it's 3:30 and no balloons yet! Wondering if DH put the right date in the order?? Would be like DH to ask me what date I wanted them delivered and then enter in some random date and time. We'll see--I'll give them until 5 before DH gets "the call"

Babysitting was pretty easy today. Cole slept most of the morning and then Matthew slept most of the afternoon. Emma loves being the "helper", so pretty easy.

nyprincess--Welcome!! My DD's bday is also December 5th! But she will be 3 this year (3 going on 13!) We are celebrating her bday tonight and tomorrow 'cuz DH work schedule is crazy next week.

icebrat--Love the photos! And Wow, you lost another 10lbs since that pic! You go girl! Sucky about the job--they don't deserve you!
I tried the schedule thing with Emma, and it worked for, oh, say, a week--But our daily routine includes (and I also allow much more TV time than I should--bad mommy!)
7ish--Wake up, potty
7:30--breakfast
8ish--TV time and get dressed, potty, change diapers (Matthew)
9ish--WEd. head to gymnastics, most other days I hit the gym while kids are in the gym daycare
10ish--Wed. Library storytime, other days snacktime
11ish--lunch
12ish--nap for Matthew, TV time for Emma
1ish--nap for Emma
3ish--Art/storytime/tv time
5ish--dinner
6-7:30 Free play
7:30-8--jammies, brush teeth, storytime
8--bedtime

This doesn't normally change on weekends, except me hitting the gym! ;)

alice--what a crock at Chilis! And what's with the runaway golf cart at the mall--if they knew it was slippery and the brakes were wet, wouldn't you drive EXTRA slowly and carefully!

bellacam--love the pics! Is Bailey's dress from Children's place? It looks a lot like Emma's!

ff--hope you can get your purse!

Well, I better go--the kids are in the middle of "way too much TV time" :rolleyes1 so I better go try to find something educational to
do! I'll post a pic of Emma with her balloons if they ever arrive! So goes life!

In a drive by post...Robin, do you know why WL happens to have 2 prices for Woods View and 2 prices for Courtyard View in the 2007 rates? We're going to FL 3 days before our cruise in February and my husband wants to stay at AKL (again, that free zoo thing) but I'm going to mention WL just for the heck of it and I noticed that there are 2 prices for each of those categories and I don't know why. My husband actually booked WL for half of our November trip but then changed it to CR after about a day.

Hmmmm....do your dates somehow overlap value into regular season (or something of that nature)? Maybe that's why the 2 prices? We went with el cheapo standard view. I felt funny upgrading on my mom's dime.

Tell your DH you get enough of the REAL (wash DC) Zoo during the spring and summer- you want the WILDERNESS Lodge to feel Northwesty- like where your friend Robin lives. :lmao: Don't forget to remind him that the WL has boats to the MK- or you can boat to the CR and take the monorail to Epcot. I would hate to have only busses to rely on at AKL, way the heck on the far side of the property.

Because I'm really avoiding making dinner....

We'll check in on the last day of value season. We're not going to the parks at all (well, we're gonna do one of those pirate and princess parties on 2/15) cause our APs expire on 12/26/06 and we don't want to pay for tickets. (It was cheaper to fly in on 2/14 and pay for a hotel for 3 nights than fly down on the 16th and pay for a hotel 1 night and can't fly in on the 17th cause we're afraid of snow.) That's the only reason he'll do AKL, cause otherwise he wants an MK resort cause of the buses/strollers/kids thing. But I thought maybe I could use that P&P Party to get him into WL by saying how convenient it will be to get back to the resort that night. Let me see if I can post the chart.

Okay, I can't, and I can't seem to post the link, but if you go to the www.disneyworld.com site, then click on resorts, WL, then rates and change the year to 2007 you'll see what I mean. Since we won't go to any parks I thought Woods view would be nice, but it lists both $240 and $260. If I have a choice, I'll take the $240 one! :lmao: But I'm sure there's something else to it, but since I've never stayed there I don't know what it could be. Oh, and AKL is the same way for pool and savannah view-2 prices. :confused3

Good afternoon ladies! :sunny:

I hope that everyone is having a lovely Friday. I’m still working on tying up a few loose ends with school, but for the most part I am done which is a relief. I have to say that I think I am losing my mind though! My brain hurts from thinking too much!

Anyway, it has been so crazy here that I totally forgot about John’s ENT appointment to check his ear tubes. :sad2: The girls had an orthodontic appointment (can you say ‘cha-ching’ with two in braces) and I had an appointment with my endocrinologist. I totally spaced on John. Ugh. I have to pay a $50 no-show fee (which I deserved b/c I had a total brain meltdown) and now we have a crack o’dawn appointment next week. Ugh.

I’m going to try to catch up as best as I can since I’m about a 100 pages behind…….

Nucpharm – HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Emma!! Have fun at Chuck E Cheese!!

Tamie – I never got to welcome you back from WDW! I did manage to sneak a peek at some of your pictures. They were great! :thumbsup2

Zalansky – Welcome back from Disney to you too! Your pictures were wonderful! I’m sorry to hear that your dad’s situation is pretty bleak. :grouphug: Your MIL sounds like a piece of work too. Yikes!

Hillbeans – Have a wonderful time at the wedding! :wave2:

SL – Your picture of your tree and mantle are so pretty! When do your classes start?

GLT – I’m thinking of you…….please let me know if you need anything. :grouphug: :grouphug:

Justhat – I’m glad to hear that Henry is getting into a regular schedule for you. I also need to go check out your trip report! Yes, if you get out to the Udvar-Hazy Center please call me. (I should pm you my phone number.) I’m about 15 minutes from there. Have fun at the Sesame Street Live. I used to not live far from there either.

Lissawynn – Sorry to hear about your fast food fiasco with your dh. I would have been mad too. Never mess with a hungry pregnant woman.

Floridafam – Congrats to Kona on her pooping! (I never thought I would ever post a sentence like that before. ;) ) Sorry to hear that your parents won’t be here for Christmas.

Nyprincess – Welcome!! :wave2:

Joats – Congrats on finding TMX Elmo! How have you been feeling lately? Is the rash gone?

BNBmom – I hope you don’t get hit with the storm too badly!

Robin – Congrats on your dh’s pension! :woohoo: I know that my dad’s Navy pension really helps them out. I hope that Sam is feeling better soon! Don’t feel bad about sending him to school either. I’ve sent the kids to school before not knowing they had strep. ETA: I just saw your post. What a day you have had! :grouphug:

J&D – Your recipes look yummy!!!

Fabumouse – Congrats to your dh on his promotion!!! :cheer2:

Dizagain – I caught one of your posts about your move. Congrats! So when is the move date?

Ginamarie – I’ll keep my fingers crossed for your dh getting a new position! Also, congrats on getting some more work! BTW, I didn’t catch all of it…are you having surgery soon (for some growth on your head)? I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Icebrat – That is just awful that your company treated you that way. :furious: You should report them for what they did to you.

DisKim – Sorry to hear about the lost post. Happy Belated Birthday to Emmy too! :cheer2:

Bellacam – The birth announcement is beautiful! Sorry to hear that you are still a little sore. Did they ending up doing a hysterectomy too?

Gems – How are you doing? How is flumpy?

Tasha – Are you done with classes yet? I hope all of your studying went well!

Hi to Ryan840, Val, Cabmom, DisneyPhd, Gretchen, and all my DISmom friends! :wave2:

Tomorrow we’ve got basketball games (the sports just don’t end ;) ) and it is my dad’s birthday so we are going over to my parent’s house to celebrate.

Everyone have a great weekend!!

I forgot to tell fab- WOO HOO on your DH getting the promotion/raise! :cheer2: That's awesome!

Hi Jill! Glad you are back- ouch on the $50 no show fee!

FF- I'm sorry your parents dates got changed. :guilty:

Diz, GLT, BNB- how's the weather?

Ice- wow, you are a tall and slim gal! That dress is really pretty. You must have been posting at the same time as my Chili's rant cause I didn't see it before. Not to be critical, but I think you can relax a bit on your schedule. :teeth: Tess won't be doing things in 5 minute increments, believe me! Well, some days she might....I think you'll learn quickly it's all about having a routine and schedule, and at the same time, going with the flow.

Bridget- you look SO GOOD for just having had a baby 2 weeks ago! Wow! Your family is gorgeous, just gorgeous.

Gotta go get Josh at the bus- then I need to work out. I only ate the 6 ribs and a few fries (Molly and Sam polished off the shiii-kunn), but then fondue tonight. Need to make some room, LOL!

Bellacam - GREAT pics! Love the outfit for Bailey! You all look great.

icebrat - I love your dress you've picked out. It will flatter you because you have the figure for it, for sure. Like Robin said you'll figure out a routine and also where you will go with the flow too. Hakuna Matata.

Robin - send an email through Chilis link. I've done that before, and received some gift cards in the mail with letters of apology. That was not my intention at the time but hey, I was pleased with the outcome.

Jill - that stinks about the missed appt fee. I would think they'd grant you one freebie?

My sister will be here soon so I've got to go pick up the house a bit. She is staying over tonight and flying out tomorrow and then another sister flies in Monday. I had to post and say I went to Gymboree, well really I went to the mall to make some small returns (ahem, one being the Disney sweater vest) and ended up at Gymboe because I conveniently had my 20% off coupon with me and MY GOD - they had boxes and boxes of stuff all over the store, things from this time last year that was wayyyy marked down. They had tons in big girl sizes and if I had more time I'd have spent more. I only spent $39 but again Cameryn didn't need it but the deals were too good to pass up. The woman ahead of me in line spent $700 and it took them forever to ring her up. I need to enter a Gymbo rehab. It is just ridiculous.

Zalansky - Which Gymbo had this sale, details please, International plaza? If so perfect I can go to Gymbo and Cheesecake factory!

Robin - Yes, I now realize my schedule is a little too complex. (I blame the military :) )

Jill - Sorry about the appointment!

Well, no need to go postal on DH--the balloons did arrive-allbeit 5:15--for some reason they came from a florist like, 30 min. away from here! WTH--since we have a florist here in town--oh well, guess that's what happens when you order online. Anywho--I took a couple of pics, Emma had that cheesy toddler grin--but I figured I just post all the pics of her party at once tomorrow night--since DH will be at work anyway! oh, and Justhat, I forgot that you asked, but DH's work sit. is temporary--he has to work shifts when they do a machine upgrade or installation, which occurs 2-3 times per year.

z--just saw your post about your MIL--too funny! I actually did that once in college after a bad breakup--and yeah, go get those pics, that's lots of $$$ you don't want her throwing away. ANd score on the deals at gymbo--I'm afraid to actually go into our store, b/c except for my recent online purchase, I've been "sober" for a while now--I'm just afraid once I'm in the store there's no turning back! :rotfl:

Okay, so I better go as I'm now having to type one-handed! Chat tomorrow!

Z- jealous of your Gymbo trip! If I don't hear anything from Gymbo by tomorrow, I am going to cancel it and just go shopping in store for Gems. This is ridiculous to have an order 'pending' for a week, when every other order I have ever done online takes no more than 4-5 days from order to my doorstep! I still have a 20% off postcard to use so I can hopefully still get some cute stuff. I'll probably go to one of our larger, more quiet stores...NOT crazy scary mall!

I fired off two emails just now, thanks to your suggestion. (plus I'm out of stamps). I have been going to Chili's ever since I was in high school, and these last two experiences have really made me mad- I said in my email I had been going there since 1989, and they're about to lose a loyal customer due to the last two visits (esp today's- the manager and server were MORE than adequate on Sunday, just cold food). I also emailed the mall management and told them about their 'courtesy shuttle' driver and how she almost plowed over my 9 year old son. I wouldn't mind a mall gift card- I could think of a place where I would spend that sucker. :rolleyes1 I would wait til AFTER Christmas though! Or maybe I would just buy Disney Dollars at the Disney Store! :teeth:

SL & Val- I got mail from you gals today- Thank you!

Ice- your schedule made me think of the preschool teacher in you, not necessarily the military. I used to be like that with my classroom schedules, but am so the opposite at home. I'm pretty much 'casual' mom, but with high expectations, if that makes sense.

I got a letter from Josh's dentist today. My FIRST billing statement since his appt in Sept. The insurance paid $165 of the $180, so I owe $15. No problem. But they're dinging me with a late charge of $10! Excuse me, but how am I late when this is the first billing statement? I am sending a check of $15 and saying, "I'm not paying the late fee, when you guys don't even send the bill within the proper amount of time." With Joshua's two cleanings this year and his EIGHT fillings, I don't think they need another dime from me this year.

Can you tell I'm just in a Pi$$y mood today? Maybe I'm next for A. Flo. Hope so. I'm sick of feeling either blue or Queen Bee-yatch.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA
Sorry, I forgot before. It’s hard to keep up with all the birthdays on this thread.

You ladies are moving fast this afternoon!

Icebrat- It sounds like a good thing that you quit your job. I can’t believe they would give you such a hard time. I recently posted a picture of Olivia’s room, so I’ll repost it.
Halloween3.jpg

We were lucky enough to have the mural already painted when we moved in because the previous owners used the room for their four year old daughter.
Olivia is on a flexible schedule. Like Zalansky said, it varies by 30-60 minutes, but she sticks to a routine for most of the part, which I think is important. Little ones thrive on repetition. She gets up around 7am, has breakfast around 7:30-8am, has lunch around noon and then usually a nap. She has dinner around 5-6 pm. She varies in the evening, because if she has a long nap she gets tired later and with a short nap she goes to bed earlier. I think it will become more regular when she gets older. She’s almost 8 months now. DBro is three years old and actually has a similar schedule, except he’s better at taking his nap, which usually goes from 1-3 pm. He goes to bed each night around 8 pm.
That wedding dress so beautiful!

BNB- I hope you don’t get hit too badly with the weather. My commute home was rough tonight. It’s REALLY windy out.

Nyprincess- WELCOME!!!

FloridaFam- I love having Dunkin Donuts in the morning. My favorite is jelly or strawberry frosted.

Bella- I love your family photo. Everyone looks so happy! It looks like Bailey is in the same Christmas jumper I have for Olivia (from the Children’s Place).

Alice- Molly’s routine cracks me up! Sorry about the Chili’s fiasco. I’m living vicariously through your fondue date tonight, so you have to give me some details tomorrow. Its more leftovers for me.

Jill- Yeah I have surgery scheduled for January 4th. They’re supposed to take this growth off of my head, which means shaving off a portion of hair on the top of my head. Maybe I’ll go bald like Olivia!

I’m not sure what we’re doing this weekend. We have a lot of household things to take care of. I think we’re having dinner for FIL’s birthday, but DH’s grandmother apparently just fell and broke her pelvis. She’s home, but on bedrest now. The fun never ends around here.

The storm is creeping me out around here. The old window keeps rattling at me. Here’s a recipe for one of my favorite appetizers.

Crab & Avocado Nachos
24 won ton wrappers
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For filling
1 ripe California avocado
1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped shallot
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3/4 lb cooked Alaska king crab (or cooked frozen crab meat)
leg in shell (1 leg), thawed if frozen and split lengthwise
Make won ton cups: Preheat oven to 375°F.
Brush top wontons with oil on top and bottom. Put them on a baking sheet without overlapping them.
Bake won tons in middle of oven until crisp and golden brown, 7 to 10 minutes. Let them cool (they will continue to crisp).
Make filling:
Scoop flesh from avocado and mash coarsely with a fork. Stir in shallot, and 1 tablespoon lime juice, to taste. Season with salt and pepper.
Remove crab meat from shell and cut into 1/2-inch cubes. Toss crab with remaining tablespoon lime juice and salt to taste.
Spoon guacamole onto won tons and top with crab.

I need an intervention. I have another $50 worth of Gymboree stuff in my shopping cart. I do have the 20% off coupon and have managed to get my total back up to $50 and another Gymbuck. Ladies, do I really need 6 Gymbucks? How does one sell Gymbucks on eBay? Someone stop me, please!

Alice - I would be ticked at Chilis, too. The food service industry, as a whole, seems to be going downhill at a very rapid rate. My sister, who has a culinary degree and is the food service director for our school district, tells me it won't be safe to eat out in another 5 years. The people who are working in kitchens today have no training. The waitstaff in a lot of places could care less, too.
I haven't received my Gymbo stuff yet. I placed the order on Saturday, and like you, I usually get my stuff within days.
Btw, I love the pic of Molly in her stroller. She is such a cutie! I can't say enough good things about my Mac.

nucpharm - I hope you have a great party at CEC. I can't wait to see the pics! The company DH used to work for would send him out of town for a few nights several times a month. That's one of the reasons he took a new job last year. I really don't like being home alone with Jimmy at night. I think Jimmy was just a few weeks old when they started sending him out of town again.

icebrat - I no longer drink that beverage with everything. For some reason with this pregnancy, I can only drink the fountain stuff. The stuff in cans and bottles gives me terrible indigestion. I can't believe how backward their company thinking is. Btw, I love the dress you posted. It's beautiful.
My son, who is almost 2, has a pretty set schedule. He spends his days at my dad's house, so I have no ideas regarding his time table while he's there. I just know that he loves Pop's house b/c it's all hugs and kisses.

Zalansky - I have a good feeling that Annabel will be much bigger than 12 months by next Christmas, but thanks for saving the dress for her. I may try to pick one up after Christmas. I'm glad you were able to return the vest. Also, it sounds like you ran into a sale at Gymbo like the one I found last Friday. They had cardboard boxes full of summer stuff. Maybe the lady who was in line in front of me on Friday hit the FL sale, too. I just can't imagine spending $700 (at one time) on Gymbo stuff.
Take pics and show us what you bought!
Btw, your MIL sounds like a nutcase. I thought her low point was throwing the phone, but obviously she's sunk to a new middle school low.

fab - Congrats to your DH on his promotion! I hope everythings works out and you have a smooth transition to your new location.
My DH wanted to go get me something else to eat, but being the wicked woman I am sometimes, I kept refusing. I was trying to make him feel bad, and it worked a little too well. DH got his feeling hurt and I feel a little bit bad about unleasing my fury on him.

Jill - I'm so happy you finished your paper! Take it easy and enjoy your holidays with your family.

justthat - I LOVE  WL. Somehow we always end up staying there, even though we always say we're going to stay some place else. I just love everything about the lodge. I really enjoy taking the boat to CR and getting the monorail or going directly to the MK. My nephew loves the pool and would stay there all day if we'd let him.

:wave2: Welcome NYPrincess! When are you due in Feb? I'm expecting our daughter on Valentine's Day and we also have a son who'll be 2 in January. I can relate to your exhaustion.

floridafam - I'm going to Macy's tomorrow with my FnF coupon. I'm looking for some new bedding for Jimmy's room. We're talking about putting him in a twin bed as soon as the upstairs is ready. I don't want him to think we're taking his crib away and giving it to his sister. I'm also looking for some good deals on baby stuff. I don't care if the Carter's sleepers are from last season; Annabel won't know the difference. Also, I can't walk past the shoe section.
I used a FnF coupon three years ago to get a Dooney bag. I had no problem using it. I see now that there are restrictions on what you can get with the discount. It didn't use to be like that. The problem is that brands like Estee Lauder lease the space in the stores and won't let Macy's discount their stuff.

bellacam - The pics of your family are beautiful. You look wonderful after giving birth just a short time ago.

On the topic of swimsuit cover-ups, I got a really nice one from Lands End in the summer. It's navy blue terry cloth and so comfy. It looks like a t-shirt dress and I felt totally comfortable walking through the WL to and from the pool in it.

Tamie - Jimmy is a huge fan of yogurt, too. I hope you get your calendars done soon.

Ginamarie - I'm glad Aunt Flo arrived. It sounds like you work situation is improving, too.

SL - Great pics of your tree. I really miss not having mine up. Maybe in another two weeks if the upstairs is done.

joats - I'm glad your got your Elmo. Jimmy has no idea what that is and should be happy with his many Elmo presents. My mom got him the Elmo chair that giggles and shakes. I can't wait to see his face when he sees that.

I think I have managed to catch up with all of you. I hope everyone is having a good Friday night. We're experiencing nasty weather at the moment. It poured today and has been in the 60s all week. Tonight it's gonna get cold and stay that way for a LONG time. We got a little water upstairs b/c the chimney still isn't finished. They can't do masonry work in the rain, and I hope they come on Monday to finish the job.

I'm off for now. I might go soak in the tub. Jimmy is sleeping and DH is helping his dad butcher the two deer he got today. DH better not bring home any meat. I cannot stand the sight/smell/taste of venison.

Ok...I've been missing for almost two days and I just got to read up on everyone. I'm not going to be able to reply to all...my fingers are still numb 4 hours after I finished shoveling my driveway. DH left for work (he had to meet with the HR person but they cancelled - :furious: ) at 7 a.m. after shoveling about 10 inches. It stopped snowing finally at around 1 and I had to shovel to get DH's car back in (the temp. was dropping and it was starting to ice) - about 8 more inches + the *$*# snow the plow shoved on my driveway. We're the top/center house in a "T" intersection and we get every bit of the snow from the road out front. I shoveled for 2 hours and Hayley worked another 45 or so. I am a whiner I know but, crap, I'm so sore and tired!!!!!! Not to mention the fact that Carson didn't sleep one single minute from 7 a.m. until 4. The girls were awesome helping while I worked outside. SO, it's December 1st and I am not decorated..... :sad2: Not a single stocking hung by the chimney with care. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm totally losing it with this moving thing - I got what I wished for but I just didn't factor in a 3-month-old. How am I supposed to do this? DH is talking about calling a realtor in late next week.... :confused3 ...how exactly do I get it presentable? Ok, more whining. I need to get off this thing or I'll start complaining about Hannah and that's a WHOLE can of worms that I don't wanna open!!!!!

Whew...thanks for putting up with me!

Few quickies -

GLT- :grouphug: I'm so sorry you have this to deal with too. Did your kids enjoy the snow? I hope you didn't get quite as much as we did...takes the fun out of it!

lissawynn - glad you guys like the towel!

icebrat - sounds like quitting was the right thing for you. Love the dress!

nucpharm - can we meet in Tunica like NOW???? I need a drink! Glad the balloons arrived! Happy Birthday to Emma!

fab - DH is just going to NY for a big yearly meeting with the new dept. he'll be working with...we are moving to TN.

Ok, I am thinking of all of you! Who knows how often I'll be around since I feel like I need to be "doing something" all the time now. I'm seriously losing my mind. Have an awesome weekend and if any of you north easterners are getting my snow - take care!!!!! :)

dizagain - I would love to see some snow. I can wait until our chimney is done, though. Sorry about the shoveling. I know what that's like and I don't envy you.
I'm sure you can get your house into shape if you need to sell soon. Just take it as it comes. I never thought I'd be able to live in my living room for a month, yet I'm doing it. Just keep thinking about the end result. That's what keeps me semi-sane.

Jimmy woke up from his "nap" at 7:30. I was SO hoping he would sleep through the night, but that didn't happen. Little does he know that he's going back to bed around 9:30. DH is going hunting tomorrow morning and that means we'll all be awake when he's getting his crap, I mean stuff, together.

It's been terribly windy here today. Blew my spiral tree right over even though it was anchored to the ground. My Old Navy and Target orders arrived today and I had to rush home after work before i picked Lucas up to get them out of the rain.

icebrat - Gorgeous dress! Here are pictures of Lucas' nursery. It pretty much still looks the same, only there are far more toys all over and obviously the cradle is gone now.

lissawynn - I think my MIL might get Lucas that shaking Elmo chair. It looked cute.

alice28 - :furious: I hope your letters get you somewhere with Chilis and the mall. How rude of that shuttle driver!

nucpharm - Yay for the balloons showing up! I can't wait to see your pictures!

dizagain - Good luck getting ready for the move. I'm sure it'll all come together.

llij - Sorry you missed John's appointment.

Sorry I'm missing most of you. I have to run.
