J&D- Awww, I was thinking the board was SUPERfertile! I’m bummed about Big Brother too. Whether you liked her or not, Janelle deserved to win this year. Thanks for the heads-up on the 5cent click!

SL- Happy early birthday (since I probably won’t be online at all tomorrow). I love teppanyaki grills. There’s something about veggies made on a grill like that! I don’t know why they taste so great, but they do.

Justhat- Wow, Henry sounds almost as big as Olivia and she’s 5 months old already. DBro was like that. He was almost 10 pounds when he was born, so he pretty much skipped the infant stage right away.

Jill- Great news about John!

Floridafam- the Mr. Potato Head kit for pumpkins sounds really cute.

Well, our phone is finally set up at the new house, and the internet too, so I’m logged on from there :) Tomorrow we’re getting the moving truck, so our bed will finally be here and we can start living here for good. It’s our last night in the apartment though, so it’s kind of sad at the same time. I’m going to miss my family, and we did have a lot of good times in the apartment, spending our newlywed months there and finding out we were pregnant and bringing Olivia home for the first time.

I got through my first week back to work :cheer2: . Aidan did great with the sitter. He cried when I left this morning, but she said he was fine after that. He gets to run around and play outside now. He didn't want to leave. He was showing me all the stuff outside. It was so cute.

SL - I'm going to FIL's union picnic tomorrow which is tons of fun! Sunday will be my cleaning day.

Jill - I hope you are able to get some more study time in. I think that man was giving you a compliment but it came out weird. We're holding off on the dog because Emily hasn't really proven herself responsible this week and we really feel that she needs to earn it.

Robin - I'm not a sports mom either. Emmy played soccer for 4 years and was no Mia Hamm. I wanted her running around outside though. I got into it with a few parents who would make comments. Alex now plays soccer and is just as good as Emmy  . The practice and games are a little much for our schedule but we manage.

HI EVERYONE!!!! WE'RE BACK!!!!!! :sad2:

I don't have alot of time, but wanted to say I am totally in love with the Boardwalk!!! Our room was incredible and I can safely say that buying into the DVC was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We were supposed to come home yesterday but added on an extra day because we loved it so much. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the Boardwalk, Epcot and Beach/Yacht club. The room was incredible and it made such a difference having the extra space. I will post some pics of our view when I down load them later on. Next time, we will add the dining plan because I believe we spent at least at much as the dining plan would have cost and we didn't eat at the best places! Also the crowds were so low we were able to walk on and off all the rides.

Robin - I thought of you on Expedition Everest! It is one of my top tides now too, though I think they could have done a bit more with the beginning of it all.

Nucpharm, J&D, justthat and Hillbeans are right - Sunday is Cameryns FIRST birthday and my birthday (38th -UGH ) is on Monday!!! Thanks for the early bday wishes!!!

SL - I didn't know our birthdays were so close! :bday: fellow Virgo!

Hillbeans - LOVE your pic of Kevins first day. You look gorgeous!

Sorry to run but I need to. Suitcases are piled by the door and that makes me ill to see them sitting there that way. Time to unload. I will upload some pics later though I admit most are of our view and barely any with me in it because I am not liking myself in pics at all lately!

Good afternoon all! I only have a minute because I'm about to become a baseball widow again. I have to keep reminding DH that he has 4 children--once baseball starts up, between games, practices, scrimmages, and extra working in the back yard, he's totally with Robert and nobody else. At least last night, he brought Celeste, too--I'm sure she's going to want to play t-ball soon.

Loretta--we had a fabulous time the week before Labor Day--same thing about having no crowds. It made it very easy to do most things twice. I do wish I had spent more time in Epcot though--we only saw a little of World Showcase.

justthat--Henry is going to be able to eat Luke for breakfast soon! You'll have to be careful about buying clothes ahead. I will say, going into winter, you'll be glad he's a good sized kid--I would be very nervous about having a tiny baby in those cold months.

Kim--Glad you got through the first week back to work. At least, with Aidan being so content with the sitter, that's one less thing you have to fret about. I hope things smooth out as everyone gets back into the school routine.

Robin--I so hear you on the sports thing. My older two aren't doing fall soccer as they chose other activities, but I just wrote out a $400 check for dance. At least dance is inside and I won't be freezing my hiney off on the sidelines--plus, I only have to stay for Celeste. Not to sound like a terrible mom, but I get so tired of schlepping Luke and Celeste, and then having to entertain them! Fortunately, DH will be home for most things, but there will be some nights I'm on my own. Oh, goody.

Hillary--Great pictures of school! Your son looks so happy--always a good thing when starting a new school year.

Jill--That's great that John has healed so nicely. Doesn't it just kill you, how you sit there and agonize over him needing the surgery for months, and you'll probably never forget how painful it was for you, and the little stinker is perfectly fine and won't remember a thing? But that's a good thing--that's why moms are there, to absorb all the bad stuff and leave the kids with the good.

Oh--I have terrible news! We've been wracking our brains, trying to figure out what has been making Luke scream in agony. Mind you, this kid barely whimpered when he got his shots the other day. Well, we think he might be getting gassy from...um...chocolate! How will I survive?!? Oh, look at that, it's time to wean! Seriously, I'm giving it up for a week and we'll see if he's any better. He's been so miserable the last couple days. While everyone else was making brownies the other day, I was going to, but didn't have a mix and I'm lazy. So, I made Rocky Road, which I ate too much of, so I'm thinking that's what set Luke off. Oh no!

I have to run. Hi to everyone else--sorry I'm having such trouble keeping up! I should do better once we settle into school and figure out what's ailing Luke.

J&D- well I feel like a dope....with all the pregnancies going on around here, I thought you were hinting you were next. But, I am sick about Boogie's win too, and that he gave Janelle the boot. He's so gross. And Erika....sigh...not the turnout for the show that I wanted AT ALL. I so wish it was Dr. Delicious and Janelle in there right now. I think I am going to spend the .50 and vote for George for the 25K though....I want the nice guy to have the $$ for his daughters.

Zalansky! I'm so thrilled for you that you had such a fabulous time! I cannot wait to see pictures and thanks for thinking of me on EE! :goodvibes My mom and I were talking Disney on the way home from the mall today.....maybe my mom and dad will take us to Disney again sometime in the next year....I can dream, right? Please share more with us, like where you ate, what did Camryn and Conner enjoy, any other favorites of yours....and Happy Early Birthday to you and Miss Cam! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

BNB- youch, $400 for dance! It's only $60 a pop for soccer...not too bad. Oh no on the chocolate! Let us know if that seems to be the culprit. Poor Luke! And poor mom!

Jill- so glad that John got the all clear from his doctor! That's fab news. And LOL on the compliment you got- I think it was a good one! I would love someone to tell me I am as cute as my daughter, cause I think she's the cat's meow! :cat:

FF- good idea scotch guarding the chair! Can't wait to see pics of Kona in her costume! She will be so cute!

GM- good luck with the big move tomorrow! I can understand it being kind of bittersweet. I often think of our first apt (it's right by the local mall so I see it a lot too) and fondly remember our first two years or so of marriage.

Well, I went Hog Frigging Wild at Gymbo. I spent $50 more than I intended too. (cough-cough $250 total cough-cough). But I got Molly so many things! I am in LOVE with it all- I got her this soft as butter sueded jacket for only $16! It was $39.50, $20 for the baby sale, and another $4 off with my coupon! :cheer2: My mom wanted to buy some of it, but instead she is going to go back with my Gymbucks in a few weeks and buy stuff for the kids. Works for me. She loved the mix n match line with all the hearts and argyles. And the whale/harbour stuff for Josh. But Molly now has 4 pants, 1 skirt, 1 overalls, 5-6 shirts, 2 sweaters, 1 jacket, 3 tights and 2 socks for the cooler weather. I'm thrilled! It was such a retail rush. I am now officially known by name at my Gymbo. I'm not sure that's a good or bad thing.

I got my workout in and Molly's still asleep. I am just resting now. I don't know what to do for dinner. We have been diligent again this week with eating at home. I'm in the mood for some crab puffs!

Two posts from me in one day....miracles do happen! :teeth: ;)

J&D - Thanks so much for the ideas!!! :thumbsup2 My first set of demos are for K-3 and then in the second half of the semester I have another set of demos for 4-6. I'm going to look at the Virginia standards of learning on Sunday (I need to refresh myself) and pick a topic from that. Your ideas are so intruiging and I might use a couple of them if they fit into the scope and sequence.

Zalansky - Welcome back!!! :sunny: I'm so glad to hear that you had a great trip! Happy Birthday to you and Cam!! :cheer2: :cheer2: I can't believe she is going to be one already!

Robin - I'm one of those moms who has two kids in sports. I will admit that last year was a bit hectic with the soccer and dance. I felt like a taxi cab driver a lot, but the girls loved what they did. Thankfully, we dropped the dance b/c I would have seriously lost my marbles if I had to run around with that again. Of course, Meagan picked up chorus this year but they meet at 7:20 in the morning.

It sounds like you got some great deals at Gymboree! :woohoo: I miss buying Gymbo stuff for little girls! I bet Molly will be the best dressed little girl around! Too funny about the Gymbo people knowing you. :teeth:

BNBmom - Oh, I hope that its not chocolate that isn't agreeing with Luke! I would have major withdrawals if I had to give up chocolate. Holy Moly, about the $400 for dance! Dance is expensive for us too and probably one of the reasons why we gave it up.

DisKim - I'm so glad that your first week went well! :grouphug: It sounds like Aidan is flourishing with the babysitter and I'm sure that makes things a little easier too. Good luck with the dog situation. I totally understand about waiting. I wish we had waited a bit before we got our dog so the girls could appreciate her and share in the responsibility of owning a dog.

Ginamarie - Yea for getting everything set up in your house! I'm sure it will be a little sad to leave your apartment though since you have so many wonderful memories there.

Floridafam - How did your dd like her Star Wars costume? Meagan wanted to be Padme last year and ended up being Hermoine.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend!! :sunny:

Hi Mommies,

I'm all set to go on the exchange but I haven't gotten any info from GEM yet. I don't want to draw names without her. She's in the UK, right??

I'll be back in a minute to post a list of who has signed up so far.

I'm planning on making a list of who has signed up and then drawing names to match up with those. Does that make sense? If I screw up, let me know.

jill,

DD loves her Padme costume and it looks really cute. I ordered her Padme's blaster from starwars.com but it doesn't work. I'm hoping they will send me a new one.

Be back in a bit.

FF- I am totally cool with you just drawing names for now, and then getting us the mailing info later, after Gems lets you know. I'm so excited! :woohoo:

I'm not sure I should draw naes until I know for sure she wants to participate. :confused3

Here is who I have right now:

:thumbsup2

Please PM me if you do not see your name on the list.

Oh, I gotcha. I know she participated in one of our last ones, because I had her... :sunny:

Loretta - 5th floor overlooking the Boardwalk and the Beach/yacht club sounds wonderful! I bet you and DH sat outside every night watching the fireworks and people below. I can't wait to see your pictures! So glad you had a great time and it also sounds like the family stress was low so it must have worked out with your extended family also! I'm sure you don't have to run away from the camera, you look great Loretta!

Jill - Wonderful news about John's cleft! That doctor of his sounds like he's a miracle worker. LOL at the comment in the hall - it's funny when a guy gives you a compliment when you least expect it (like when you've got the kids!). I remember when I was 9 months pregnant and a guy was hitting on me in the parking lot and I just thought it was the funniest thing ever!

J D - sorry we all jumped the gun there and thought you were pregnant!

Nuchpharm - Great news that Matthew is sleeping well for you. I don't think you realize just how sleep deprived are until you get a full night's sleep and actually feel rested for a change. Liam did sleep through the night once this week, but then he got a fever and was fussier than usual.

Justine - welcome to the huge baby club! (Alice is the founding member - HA HA HA HA). Liam was never a small baby and we blew through the 0-6 month clothes in about 2 months. He's 2 weeks shy of a year old and is wearing 18 and some 24 month clothes already. I think he'll stay in those for awhile though. Glad to hear you'll soon be able to rest after your mom's visit.

Ginamarie - continued well wishes to you during the transition to your new home!!!! :woohoo: :cool1:

Alice - Have you ever thought about working at Gymboree? I bet you'd get a killer discount - maybe you could do it over the holidays? I'm almost embarassed to admit this, but i've only ever been in there twice. I tend to get most of the kids clothes at Kohl's or the Carter's outlet.

Buzznbelle - Good luck with the baseball thing! It's amazing how much time these activities take up out of the week!

Diskim - so glad that Aidan did well with the sitter! Go Aiden!!!!! :Pinkbounc

Lissawynn - hope you survived your week at school - sorry you are already dealing with problem students - UGH!

GLT - hope you have good luck with the sale this weekend!

Fabumouse - I just realized that we both have children at about the same age gap. My two children are 4 years, 8 months apart. The baby is almost 1 and Kevin will be 6 in January. I didn't exactly plan it that way, but it seems to work out well for our family.

Hi to Cabmom, Disneyphd, Ryan840, Gretchen, Tasha and Scott, Tamie, Dizagain, and everyone else on our thread!!!!

Thanks to everyone for your compliments on our family picture from yesterday. You all make me feel great! I have lost about 7 pounds however to be where I was pre-pregnancy i've actually got about 20 more to go. I know I sound like a broken record, but I feel that there is just such a stigma out there with losing the weight after having a baby. It's bad enough that you go through 9 months of hormone changes but it's like everyone expects you to be back to your old weight in no time at all. I think it's great for those who can do that, but it's a lot harder for me this time around. I have less "me" time to work out and my stomach muscles just aren't what they used to be. I still cringe when I think of that woman asking me if I was pregnant because my belly does pooch out somewhat. I just don't understand why women don't just give other women a break - it's like carrying around a few extra pounds 11 months after giving birth is a crime or something. But anyway - I did walk 1.5 miles today and my goal is to lose a pound a week - slow and steady.

Tomorrow Kevin has his first soccer game and i'll probably clean the house or the car tomorrow afternoon.

Goodnight ladies!

zalansky,

Welcome back. Can't wait to hear more about the trip.

jill,

It sounds like John is doing well. That's so great. :thumbsup2

I'm off to bed. We are hoping to catch the shuttle launch from the beach tomorrow. I love living on the Space Coast.

justhat - thanks for leif's b'day wishes! Wow, what a strong boy Henry is to be turning already! :cheer2:

zalansky - happy b'day Cameryn! and happy birthday to you! The boardwalk sounds great.

SL - Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday SL, happy birthday to you. It sounds like you have a fabulous weekend planned! I hope you have a great time and enjoy yourself.

bnb - wow, chocolate from nursing is bothering Luke? I never would have figured that out. While nursing DH I had to cut ALL milk, whey products from my diet, no chocolates, no cakes, none of my weaknesses. It was so hard. He was weaned by 7 months! I lasted as long as I could. Good luck to you.

nucpharm - I hope your sale goes well. When's your girls' weekend?

dizagain, funny about the list and getting to the store :rotfl2: Also, I can relate to the stroller being in the garage, that happens to me every once in a while and it drives me bonkers.

J&D - you stinker! :lmao: I cannot believe Booger is in the final. I can't stand either of those two.

lissawynn - hope everything got graded.

FF - Kona will look adorable as a bumble bee. The Mr. Potato Head kit sounds so cute! How cool to be able to see a shuttle launch. I've never seen one before. I hope it goes off without a hitch.

ginamarie - goo dluck with the rest of the move! :wizard:

DisKim - :cheer2: good job making it through the first week for you and the kids!

Robin - between scrapbooking, painting, cleaning and ebaying, you have sure been motivated to get a lot done lately, way to go! :woohoo: It helps motivate me! I hope gymbo was successful.

jill  yeah for John! That is great the surgery took so well. I think that was a compliment. :thumbsup2 Good luck getting studying done!

Garage sale is going pretty well, considering we didn't advertise it at all, just lots of signs. So far I've made a little money, but it's more than I had before! There are now 4 moms going in on this sale and it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Either way, we decided to do it again next weekend (everything's labeled and such) and put an ad in the paper about all the baby things we have available. So it looks like a two-weekend project for me.

ETA - almost forget. Poor Leif woke up from an afternoon nap and within minutes had a super swollen lower lip, like he got bit/stung by something. I called the dr and gave him benedryl. It stopped puffing up, but was still puffy. Then, about 2 hours later he was walking along and fell and cut his upper lip! The poor kid has two fat lips :sad2: Hopefully he'll look/feel better in the a.m.

Have a great evening.

I'm here in NJ and Madison is sleeping so I thought I'd try to sneak on here before Henry wakes up. He ate 3 or 4 times between 4-7pm so I can't see how he can be hungry, but I'm sure he'll be waking again soon. I just realized I have to pump a lot of milk to be sure I have enough for this insatiable baby on Sunday. I'm taking him with me to their rehearsal tomorrow cause no way can I pump enough milk for 2 nights out and I forgot to bring formula with me. I'm not even sure he'll drink it so I don't want to waste money buying some if it will go to waste.

Hillbeans, I think you looked great in the photo and honestly do not see 20 pounds you could lose. Really I don't, and I think you look better than I will in 10 months. And Kevin looked so cute and so excited to be a kindergartener. And funny you should call it a huge baby club cause I was just thinking about how I now have a kid like most of the others on this thread-big. Madison was always so thin I never imagined a kid could grow like this.

Robin, you're so tempting me to buy more clothes and I know I just can't! And my SIL called to remind me it's Gymbucks time too. I love the new Gymbo baby lines and the mix and match but I spent a lot during Gymbuck redemption and really got enough stuff for fall. And while Henry has outgrown a lot of stuff already, all the Gymbo 0-3 month stuff still has plenty of room for him so I can't even say he'll outgrow the stuff I already bought. :sad2: Very sad cause I'm just dying over the new stuff. I'm thinking while I'm in tax-free land though I might just have to pick up one or 2 items. Oh, and Madison was a 'normal' kid too, rolling over somewhere around 3 months. My husband claims he got his "motor-genius" gene from him.

Nucpharm, good for Matthew for sleeping well! It's hard to go back to the sleepless nights once they start figuring out what nighttime is for. I sorta had that fear but since Madison is such a bad sleeper I never really had the luxury on a regular basis anyway! :lmao: One day my time will come. And I think you're right about boys being more wild from the start and Henry is only a month old. Madison was content to sit and play quietly, look at books, etc., but this one is already trying to be mobile. I fear the next 2 years.

Floridafam, you'll have to post some photos of your kids in their costumes-they sound so cute. I agree it's probably best to wait to hear from Gem so you don't have to redo the list or anything like that.

Jill, great news about John's surgery!! :Pinkbounc I bet hearing that made all that agonizing worth it. At least that's what I am telling myself about Henry's, so I think it's right. It's so hard to see your kids go through anything like that, but to hear how successful it was makes it seem very worthwhile. Hey, I'm home everyday so if you ever need a babysitter to get some studying done just let me know. I seriously do not have a life anymore so I'm free all the time. ;) And a little OT, but what did you think about all that traffic mess yesterday-with that movie premiere at The Uptown, the protests, rallys, accidents, and whatever went on at the Pentagon. Like the area is not already a nightmare to navigate.

BnB, I'll hope chocolate is not bothering Luke cause that would be a hard one to give up. Madison was the same size as Luke at his age-must be something about their birthday! You're right about having a larger baby over the winter though-it was a big concern to me when I found out I was pregnant since my nephew was born 9/2 and got all sorts of nasty illnesses, including RSV which had him hospitalized for a week at 4 months old. Dance sounds expensive so you're making me want to steer Madison away from that! Luckily everything around here you have to be at least 3yo to participate without a parent, and being the bad mommy that I am I don't want to do it with her so we'll get to skip out on another year.

Zalansky your trip sounds like lots of fun and your view sounds great! I can't wait to see some pictures (and I'm sure you look great in them too!). Do you have plans for Cam's birthday this weekend?

J&D, ya know, I thought you meant BB7 cause I read your post right after I watched it, but then everyone else threw me off track and I thought I was way too obsessed with the show then. My husband thinks Erika might take the money home, but really, either way it won't be who I wanted. Guess I'll just hope next year's show works out better.

Well I had more stuff written and then all of a sudden a box appeared on the screen and some of my text disappeared. Weird and annoying. Basically the thoughts were-congrats Gina on finally getting settled into your new place and good for Aidan doing so well at the new sitter's. I would retype it all now, but the boy is still sleeping so I should really try to pump the first of many bottles before he wakes up. Can't wait to see how engorged I am during the wedding after a day of pumping and feeding nonstop. If only my friend knew how much I'm doing for his wedding!

Yes, Hillbeans, how in the world do you still have 20 pounds to lose? I don't see it either. :confused3 My abdomen is so distorted from having 3 big babies, I'm not sure I will ever be the same. But I keep doing my exercise DVDs almost every day....hoping it will help!

I have thought about getting a Gymbo job....but their discounts actually aren't the best. It's 30% off full price. No discounts on marked down stuff. Bummer. And I hardly stepped in there either when I just had the boys, so don't be embarrassed to admit that! I overheard another customer who was buying for her son, say, "If I had a daughter, I would be buying some much more than this!" I laughed out loud and said, "Oh, I hear you! I would come in here and just buy maybe 1-2 things once a year before I had my daughter, but now, WATCH OUT!" :rotfl:

Justhat- you are the smart one for catching what Jennifer was talking about! I think you might just have to buy a couple things at this sale- it's amazing how cheap some of the stuff is. Some of it is literally almost 50% off. $20 pants are $10 and that jacket I mentioned is amazing. But I also understand needing to back away from the clothes buying! The person I need to really buy for is ME.

lissawynn- I hope your grumpy student gets the boot soon.

GLT- I wonder what happened to Leif? That's so strange! I hope he's not still feeling bad...... :guilty:

OK, I gotta go- my son just snitched me off to DH. He is downstairs, with DH right there, but comes all the way upstairs to ask me to help him with something on the downstairs computer. I said, "Why don't you ask daddy? He's right there?" Then he says to DH," Mom is always on the computer when I need help....she needs to not use that so much." He snitched me off the little fart! :rotfl:

Morning all. I am up early again this Saturday. I just can't seem to sleep late these days. I also needed a Zantac. As soon as I was "awake", I felt the terrible urge to burp and couldn't. I swear, indigestion is gonna kill me. I don't believe the nonsense about hairy babies, either. I was like this with Jimmy and he's not so hairy.

We went to a really nice dinner last night. I love this place b/c they have the best wings going. I got my dozen wings and a great salad. Jimmy discovered ketchup and was having a blast dipping his fries and fingers. I had the camera in my purse, so DH took pics. I just have to find the cord so I can upload them.

I don't think our last trip to the shore is going to happen. We have a lot to do at home and DH is getting antsy about the wiring that's going to need to be done before the addition starts. Also, the Penn State vs. Notre Dame game is on and that's a big deal in our area.

Alice - I'm glad you scored at Gymbo. I have never been super excited about any of their boys stuff. I did get a lot of the baseball stuff in the spring, but the 2T stuff was too big for Jimmy this summer. I'm putting it away in the hopes that it will fit him next year.

zalansky - Your trip sounds awesome. I am officially jealous. I think I'll be renting points on our next trip. Taking two kids under 3 requires a lot of space and a washer.

jill - I hope you get some serious studying done this weekend.

floridafam - Enjoy watching the launch!

ginamarie - Yay for you being moved in this weekend! I am so looking forward to the day when our house is done and we have more room.

hillbeans - I was still trying to lose the last 5 of my Jimmy pounds when I found out I was pg. I just believe that after you have a baby, you're body is never going to be what it was before. I have weight on my hips and stomach that I never had, no matter what I weighed. I think you look great, btw.

justthat - Is your wedding this weekend?

GLT - I hope Leif's lips are better today. Good luck with the garage sale.

DisKim - I'm glad your first week back at work went well. It's great that Aidan loves the sitter's place. I'm sure Jimmy is having a heck of a lot more fun at my dad's house than he is with me.
I wanted to tell you that one of my PITA students insists that he can't do his homework b/c he doesn't know how to write in cursive. He came to us from a school outside Philly and said he learned about cursive in 2nd grade, but he was never made to use it. I, being the concerned educator, have offered to teach him cursive writing after the school day has ended. I even had teachers give me cursive writing books. I'm sure he can't wait until the lessons start on Tuesday. ;)

BnB - I hope baseball season is over sooner than you know it.

I have to get my dead a** up and start doing stuff. I hope you all have a great Saturday.

Btw, I'd be happy to post the pics of our addition as it's being completed. I'm so excited to get this started!

Robin - If I had a girl I would go nuts in Gymbo. Unfortunately, when I had Emmy, we had no money at all. We were living on DH's first year salary as a teacher :sad2: . By the time we had more money, Emily was older and refused to wear cute clothes. Dresses made her scream her head off. I always tell her I need to have another girl because she never let me dress her up and she hated dance. I don't know how we're related!

Hillbeans - 20 pounds! Are you kidding me?! You look beautiful!

lissawynn - He can't do his homework because he can't write in cursive? You're joking, right? That's the best one I've ever heard. I'm going to have to share that with my friends. I'm sure he appreciates your offer to stay after school with him and teach him :goodvibes .

FF - Oh, Alex would love to be able to see the shuttle launch. He watched the last one on tv and he was so impressed.

Aidan is being so cute right now. He is sitting on Emmy's lap and they are playing video games. He cracks up laughing when the Zelda guy breaks things with his sword. Ay yes, he already loves violence and thinks it's funny. I'm in trouble.

I got an e-mail from my friend last night and didn't know what to say. This is the one who I mentioned before. She always thinks her son can do no wrong. Meanwhile, he can be very mean and he starts a lot of trouble behind her back and acts innocent. Well, it was no suprise when she told me he got in trouble in his first week at school. She is very upset with the teacher and thinks that putting him in time out for 5 minutes was too harsh a punishment for throwing something at a kid. She feels her son was singled out. I hope she doesn't attack his teacher :sad2: .

Well, I better get off this computer. We have a picnic to go to and it's far away. I hate packing Aidan's stuff for a whole day out.

Morning all! :sunny: So, when is it that children learn the meaning of a weekend??????? Or I guess it's only my one child that got me up this morning--my sweet girl is still sleeping. But my crazy little man woke up with a messy runny diaper and a big snotty nose! UGH!!! Dneice had strep last week and I mentioned it to our pediatrican at Matthew's appt. last week and she told me the incubation period was up to 7 days--Hope that's not what we're in for!

Alice--I am so the same way with Gymbo--I just can't find a lot of cute stuff for boys (especially on sale--cuz I'm to cheap to spend full price! ;) ) but then I could go hog wild on the girls end. I went shopping with my MIL and my BIL's wife last Saturday and they were such a bad influence when we got in there--showing me all the cute stuff--like I didn't already know! But DH has really put me on a budget, so not a lot of shopping for me, unless it's bday or holiday related--that's how I got to buy the Cherry pie stuff! HeHe!

Hillbeans--I'm with everyone else--20lbs to lose?? Where??? You look great!! Good luck to Kevin on his first soccer game!

FF--my grandmother used to live in Titusville and we would go out to as far as NASA would let us get to watch the shuttle launch. It was definitely one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I was amazed just how loud it was being that far away! We have the NASA channel on our DISH and I was thinking of you when I flipped by it this am

zalansky--Can't wait to hear about your trip! I'm am green with envy! I really wanted to try out BWV, but since we are going back during prime season in April, we needed to book more than 7months out and I doubt we could've gotten anything other than SSR anyway. Can't wait to see pics! I've actually traded some points out to use in the concierge collection in a couple of weeks, so I'll let you know how that goes!

Jill--glad to hear that John's doing so well. :cheer2:

Justhat--hope the wedding goes well, and you aren't too uncomfortable.

GLT--Our trip is in 2 weeks. We are going to go up on a Friday and be back Sunday afternoon--Can't wait for 2 nights of uninterrupted sleep--and I"m really excited that DH will finally know what it feels like to be me--even on a weekend. He's got this grand idea that he will just get to sit and watch football all weekend with the kids playing quietly by his side--boy, will his bubble get burst or what???? :teeth:

Well, I'm off to get ready for the day! Can you hear the excitement in my voice--but I've committed to working 5hrs at this consignment sale today, so I better fullfill my part of the bargain--besides I'm in the market for some brown girls loafers or boots--maybe I can score a great deal as well. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Hi everyone  ,
I've been keeping up with reading the thread but it seems I never have time to post anymore! I actually don't have time to post now either as DS has his first soccer game in an hour and I still need to take a shower and get dressed  . Things have been super busy here. My grandfather is in the hospital and with ds starting soccer we just have no time at home lately.

I got a bunch of the cherry line for Katrina during the Labor day sale at Gymbo but now you all are making me want to go peek at the new stuff. I must resist the urge :teeth: . I wasn't too pleased with Booger and Erika in the finals either. The deserving players went out 4th and 3rd in my opinion.

Great pictures, Hillbeans! Happy Birthday Cam and Loretta :bday: ! Hi to everyone. Sorry for such a short post but I need to get moving here. I hope to be able to check in tonight and post properly.

Ok, my bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom are clean. I should really scrub the floors, but I'm not up to it. DH has torn apart my closet to get access to the attic and is up there checking to see what kinds of stuff he needs for the rewiring and new a/c. He better put my closet back together or there will be trouble.

My hillbillie neighbors were out in full force this morning. They must have been going somewhere and were screaming for about 10 minutes before they left. Did I mention they have two cars parked in front of our house? One's been there over a week and the other for over a month. I called our borough manager and unless the inspection stickers are expired (which they aren't), they can't do anything for me.

nupcpharm - Good luck finding the shoes at the consignment sale.

DisKim - Have fun at the picnic.

I smell a stinky diaper. Gotta go.
