Bellacam - It's good to hear from you and to hear that you are doing well. My DD's birthday is 11/27. Your baby is cutting it close to her b-day.

justhat - The pictures are adorable. I almost laughed out loud when I saw Nick in every picture. Do you have a spare Nick? My cousin had a lovey like that and her mom bought about 3 of them just in case. I think she still has it and she's 16. Can you picture Madison still carrying Nick around at 16? Alex used to love to be forward facing in the sling too. It also made me nervous, but he always had to know what was going on.

OK, well I finished watching Top Model and it's time for be. Do any of you watch that. I am going to be so mad if Melrose wins. I've never seen such a kiss up in all my life! I would like to see Amanda or Eugena win.

Boy am I going to feel dumb if DVC isn't what DH had in mind for Christmas. It's just he's been bragging the last week or so about how I was just going to be stunned and forever grateful, yadda, yadda. So, I know it's nothing I would be expecting, like a Spa gift cert, and I just don't do jewelry and DH knows that. (and even said, 'it's not jewelry.') I have a feeling he was looking into it all, and deciding that is what he wanted to do, but was unsure how to go about getting VWL, so he asked me the question about the resale. I could also easily be talked into the BCV. Does anyone know- does the 1 bedroom BCV sleep 5? Cause the VWL say theirs only sleeps 4, which won't work for the times we don't want to spend the points on a 2 bdrm.

Justine- you tell you DH to 'shut it'- WE LOVE THE PICTURES! Well, I do anyway! That is so awesome that Chip remembered you guys! What ride is that that Madison is measuring for? And OMGosh on your room with the VIEW! That is amazing, just amazing. :thumbsup2

Bellacam- glad you are doing well and your BP is staying within a good range. I SO remember this time, not so fondly, same time of year...I wasn't on bedrest with Sam, but I might as well have been, I was so darn uncomfortable. I thought he would never be born....but the day came! I cannot believe he will be 9 in less than two weeks. :sad2:

Joats- that so sucks that you are sick again! I'm so sorry! I have only been to WDW towards the end of Sept- it was quite hot and humid, but the crowd level was AOK.

Molly's new thing is "Thank You." I LOVE IT! Esp because it proved a point with Dh. Every time I would give her something she wanted, I would say, "Now say Thank You, Molly" and of course she wouldn't. DH would say, "Why do you even say it?" And I said, "Because someday she will all of a sudden say it. It's called 'teaching.' " ;) So about a week ago, every time I hand her something, or take her out of her crib, or take a poopy off even, she says, "Tank-tuuuu" I could just die it's so cute. It's like when Sam all of a sudden said, "Love you" at bedtime- I would always say it to him, and then out of the blue he started saying it back. That was my first Mommy lesson that they really are listening and absorbing the good stuff too!

Poor DH. He left work at 5:10; it's now 6:40. He's called 3 times....I guess the lights are out all along one strip of the expressway, so traffic is just crawling. Cause guess what folks- it's windy, rainy and crappy here in the Pacific Northwest again! So far the power has only flickered; I think that was Sunday night. And I was freaking- my Desperate Housewives BETTER not shut off! :teeth:

I have to get Madeleine to bed - but Justhat - SERIOUSLY I was so excited to see your photos and wanted to see more!!! Your dh may be right that random people don't want to see your photos- but trust me, the rest of us DOOOOOOO!!

Kim - I almost forgot that great Moose ornament you sent - so cute!

Goodnight everyone. Don't let the Trolls bite. =)

THANK YOU JOATS!!!!!

We got your package today and I have to say we were blown away! You totally rock! First we got awesome smelling brownies! I can;'t wait till tomorrow morning with my cup O' java! Then Connor was absolutely thrilled with his Incredibles phone, sticker box and towel. (he opened it in the bath tonight) You must be super observant and remember he loves the Incredibles from his Dash costume right? Or you just are a great Santa. :)
And Cam LOVES her Mickey phone and book, but she LOVES the phone and we had to pry it from her to put her in bed. And of course I adore the dress from Gymboree. ADORE IT! Gonna get pics taken in it! I have to tell you that this package put the biggest smile on my face and really made my week. I cannot thank you enough Jen! Thank you!!!! Oh and also, the week after Labor Day is the best time to go to WDW....IMO. We have gone twice at that time of year and the crowds are the lowest.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

And Robin - THANK YOU TOO!!!!! A huge thank you!!! I am thrilled you remembered my full name for the DVC referral! I believe if you buy, we will get $200 Disney Dollars and if that's the case we'll have to use them to celebrate in March!!!! Congrats to you by the way, I can't wait to say welcome home.

Thank you also to everyone for your continued thoughts and well wishes. The only new news is that the tumor is so large it cannot be removed. It is 6 inches across and Lord knows how deep. It has spread to some organs which I may have mentioned. He is in very good spirits - he knows he has a tumor and that its cancer and the nurse told us she thinks he "knows" but we are not sure. He said One Day at a Time. I just feel so badly for him, and for me too. It is so hard to watch a parent die. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But I am honestly doing okay today, largely in part to my family being here. I feel like deep down I have known for months he was seriously ill so it has not been a shock to me. Anyway, I am sorry I can't respond more but I need to get to bed. Have to head back to the hospital tomorrow. He is having surgery first thing for the colostomy bag.

Goodnight and God Bless you all!!!! :grouphug:

UGH--remind me never to take 2 1 year olds and a 3 year old (almost) to get pics taken. It was terrible! Matthew decided that during the photo session would be the perfect time for his walking debut--he's been taking about 4-5 steps, but this time he was crusing the whole room! So most of our pics, he's on his way out of the shot  The photographer did take some cute pics of the kids all playing with christmas ornaments. One cool thing she does, though, is she can take one child's face from one pic and super-impose in on another pic to get all the kids smiling and looking at the same time. Pretty cool! She said she'd have them uploaded in the next couple of day, so I'll make sure to post the link when I get it!

Alice--Well, if your present is DVC--Way to go!! :cheer2: :cheer2: Hmmm, wondering what your DH is wanting in return???? :rotfl:

zalansky--More hugs to you! :grouphug: I hope they can at least keep your dad comfortable since it seems like the tumor is inoperable. But how nice of your exchange package to come today! I can just imagine the smile it must have brought to you!

Justhat--great photos! :thumbsup2 You are definitely not boring us with them! I love to see everyone's families! Love the pic of madison's hair, must put that on our to-do list for Emma in April!

bellacam--good luck with the next couple of weeks! Not too long now!

gina--hope you don't spend too much time working tonight!

joats--sorry your under the weather again! Hope you can figure out what is causing the itching soon! There are at least 8 kids invited to the party, and I was hoping that 1/2 would come--but now it probably be all of them with at least one parent. Oh well! At least it's not at my house!

Well, I better go--DH and I had a little tiff over this thing he's doing for the church this weekend. It's taking up so much of his free time that the kids rarely see him. But apparently it's all my fault. At least it will be over with on Saturday. My frustration turned into baking, so I'm waiting on my banana bread to finish baking.

And once again, I really appologize to my buddy that my package hasn't gone out yet--As I'm shopping on Friday, and can't get to the post office before they close on Sat. it will go out Monday Priority!!!!

Alice- If your gift is DVC, then are you going to go in for that wax that you had to cancel? :lmao:

bellacam- Glad you are doing well.

justhat- Cute pics. Henry has gotten so big.

Ginamarie- That is nice of you to help your bro move.

lissawynn- Your turkey dinner sounds so good. Can't wait until next week. I love the nachos in Mexico as well. We usually eat at San Angel Inn.

DisKim- Sounds like you got a lot done today.

joats- Have fun planning your trip.

floridafam- Usborne has some great chapter books that I could recommend. There is a new series called Misadventures of Danny Cloke that looks like it would appeal to 4th grade boys. We also have many true adventure story books. I plan on having a holiday mystery hostess contest like I did during the summer if you are interested.

SL- Congrats on your raise. :thumbsup2

Hillbeans- Hope the photos went well.

dizagain- We have been very pleased with Sear's photo dept. That reminds me that I need to call and make an appointment for Jenna's Christmas pics.

Cabmom- Happy belated b-day to Dean.
party-smiley-009.gif

Jill & Tasha- Hope you are having a good week at school. Good luck with exams/papers.
feiertag-smiley-007.gif

fabumouse- Congrats to your DH!

GLT- Leify sounds like a little ham.

nucpharm- Congrats to Matthew for taking his first steps.

Loretta- Hope the surgery goes well tomorrow. Sending more hugs and prayers. :grouphug:

I actually did start a trip report. I so needed to be in bed, but what the heck! Anyway, here's a link http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=15563626#post15563626

I hope it's right. I figure that's better than dumping off of my trip details here in case some of you don't want to read it.

Robin how awesome would DVC be as a Christmas gift!?! I can't wait to hear if that's really what it is.

J&D, thanks for organizing the secret santa exchange. It sounds fun and I'll send you a pm with my info.

Zalansky, so sorry to hear the news about your dad. And right before the holidays too. My dad died on November 10th and my grandmother on December 1st so I never have that merry feel and I know how much it stinks to deal with illness this time of year. I hope your dad is doing okay painwise-it sounds like his attitude is great and that really helps all around.

Henry sounds like he's rousing for a meal so I need to go and then get in bed.

Good morning, everyone. Am I wrong to be annoyed with this woman at work? She has come up to me FOUR TIMES in the past month since she started and said, "I don't think we've met. I'm Annoying Co-Worker." We've met 5 times lady. The last TWO times I even told her we have met, and several times. I don't care if she doesn't remember my name, but I've obviously made quite a non-impression on this lady. Then yesterday she answered a call for me and stood in the hallway yelling my name. When I came out she asked "Are you Jennifer?" I have been the last 4 times asked. She claims she came into my office looking for me but since I was sitting in there the whole time I can assure you she did not. Annoying.

In other news, I mailed out my exchange package yesterday.

dizagain - My DH is fond of sending flowers, too. I told him last Valentine's day not to since they jack the prices up for it but he did anyway. :confused3

DisKim - Hope you enjoyed your day off. Did you get your closets done?

nucpharm - Sorry the pictures didn't go so well. I can't wait to see them!

lissawynn - Cute bags! Did you enjoy your turkey dinner?

glt - I love the "ta-dah!" Lucas says it when he brings me a box of crackers like he just did a magic trick or something.

Bnb - Glad the open house at school went well.

fabumouse - Keeping my fingers crossed for your DH! I hope everything works out.

ff - Your bday present sounds beautiful! Um, the jewelry, not the Santa outfit. :lmao: Good for your DS getting to go to the millionnaire event.

Alice28 - Wow! The DVC call sounds promising. I hope that's what your DH has in mind.

joats - Sorry you're sick and still itching. We're thinking of going to WDW that same week. As far as I know, this year classes started the Monday after Labor Day and though they don't have the schedule for next year up yet I'm assuming it's the same. We're hoping to go from Labor Day until that next weekend. I've been around that time and the crowds were pretty low.

Justhat - I love your pictures! Tell your DH he's wrong...I love seeing people's pics!

Ginamarie - Hope you're feeling better. Stomach viruses are no fun.

bellacam - I hope you can stay comfortable until the 29th.

zalansky - Good luck to your father with the surgery. :grouphug:

Hi to J&D, llij, val, cabmom, hillbeans, Tasha, and anyone else I missed! :wave2:

SL - You made me laugh about the coworker, calling her anoying coworker in her introduction. I would be annoyed with her too. It's one thing to not remember someone's name, but she sounds like working with Dory. Hope the raise goes well for you, especially for putting up with her. ;)

Alice - The ride Madison was being measured for was Goofy's Barnstormer (though I'm guessing you figured that out now from where I inserted the photo in the trip report). In an effort to be like SL's coworker, the CM at the entrance to the line measured her everytime and we rode about 6 times in a row and there was no line so you'd think she'd have remembered she just measured her. Later in the trip the CM just let us stay on the ride instead of walking back through the line so that was nice.

I really thought I'd have more time but Henry is beyond grouchy so I'll have to come back once he naps. He's got a cold (probably from one of those many people who just had to hold him at the christening) and has not been a pleasant child the past 2 days. Almost as happy as he was in WDW if that's possible. ;)

Quick morning post...

Hannah is heading out the door to the bus with DH's crutches - she thinks it will be cool to trick people for some reason. No, she isn't taking them to school! ;)

Justhat - My DD's and I LOVE looking at the pictures. They absolutely love seeing Henry and Madison - I guess because our guys are so close. They feel the same way about Madeleine and Kailey. Heck, they always want to see ALL the pictures and they wish they could babysit!

zalansky - :grouphug: today - thinking of you!

robin - WOO HOO on DH's possible "surprise"...wouldn't that be so awesome???

sl - that co-worker is definitely annoying! :confused3

bellacam - glad you are hanging in there ok...not too much longer!

nucpharm - sorry your picture taking wasn't so wonderful, but YAY for Matthew and his walking!!!!

ginamarie - hope you're feeling better! Sounds like you've been very busy!

floridafam - that VS Santa Baby suit sounds interesting to say the least!

Well, Hannah was not successful at fooling the crowd...too many buddies out there knew about DH's ankle. Carson needs his mommy to play with him. He slept 10-6:30!!!!!! I'll check back in later - everyone have a wonderful day!!!

Morning all. I survived yet another night of camping in our living room. I know they are making really good progress on the house, but part of my just wants them to work their a**es off and get it done. I guess I'm thinking that we usually put up our tree on Black Friday and that's just not going to happen this year. DH is trying to assure me that our new family room will be done before Chirstmas and we can put up the tree. I'm just tired of living in a shoebox.

SL - I can totally relate to your annoying co-worker. Mine is in the room next door. She was one of my students the first year I taught in the h.s. She was annoying back then and she hasn't changed much, except now she knows everything.

justthat - I'm anxious to see your pics, but the wacky computer at school won't open them. I hope Henry settles down for you.

J&D - I really enjoyed my dinner and am already thinking about a turkey sandwich for later. I like mine on white bread, though. All we have at the house is wheat. Tonight I'm making stuffed peppers. I wanted red b/c they are so much sweeter and the green, but my dad could only get decent sized green ones.

nucpharm - I can't wait to see your pics. I can't imagine taking all of those little ones and expecting them to sit really still for the photographer. My sister and I are taking our sons for a pic and I can only imagine what they'll do.

Z - I'm glad your dad is aware of what's going on and seems to be ok with it. I hope you and your family can have a nice Thanksgiving, despite his diagnosis. :grouphug:

Alice - I can't wait until Christmas to see what your DH got you. Here's to hoping it's DVC!

bellacam - Glad you're feeling well. Keep us updated on what's happening!

DisKim - I don't watch Top Model, but I was happy to catch the last few minutes of Dancing last night. I'm so happy Emmit won.

Ginamarie - The size of our new closet is going to spoil me. Our house was built in the 1940s, and the closets are a good size for that period. I understand that most people didn't have a lot of clothing, so that explains the closet size. It'll be so nice to not have to store clothes in the basement. I do have to really weed through my stuff and get rid of the things I haven't been wearing. I have a lot of old work clothes, like pleated pants, that I refuse to wear.

ETA - Joats - I hope you're feeling better soon!

I have to get my stuff together for my prep. I have a ton of copying to do for the next few days.

Hello. A drive by post to say hello. I want you DIS mom's to know you are in my thoughts and prayers, especially Bellacam and Loretta.

Today will be pretty hectic, DD has a shortened day at school for conferences and I have to meet with her speech therapist, and ds has preschool with somoene else driving him and we have to walk to dd's school - time will be tight all around. Then we have a play date for DD this afternoon. So I don't expect I'll be around much today to DIS. But I'll think of you!

Robin - WTG with DVC :thumbsup2 That's the only post I read - I'm behind.

Sorry ladies, will check back in later. BTW, my package will be sent tomorrow the latest!!

Morning all!

Another gray, wet day up here, and my cleaning service called to say they'd be here between 1-2 pm. Um, I have young kids (this shouldn't be a shock to them--I didn't buy them yesterday!), they both nap, that time's terrible! But we'll probably go up and hang out in the rec room--it needs to be cleaned anyway. Maybe I can get Celeste to nap early...

Robin--That would be FANTASTIC if your gift was DVC! You'll be giving "favors" for a while, though. BTW, all the one bedrooms only sleep 4 (although I've heard of people putting 5 in, but it depends on how you feel on that, I know it can be a huge debate). Maybe 4 plus a crib. That's why we went with a good amount of points, because we have to have the 2 bedroom.

Loretta--So sorry again about your dad. My dad died 12/22/94, and to this day, I have a tough time getting into the holiday spirit sometimes.

bellacam--Good to hear from you. take care of yourself. One thing with your condition is, they like to test you a lot to see that the baby's doing fine. It used to drive me nuts (I had it all 4 times). yeah, it's not helping my bp to make me drag my sorry butt and a toddler down here for extra tests! But you're close now, keep plugging along. Every day is one day closer to the end.

justthat--How could we NOT want to see pictures of your kids at WDW? What, is your husband MAD?!?! We LIVE for this stuff! BTW, Celeste really loved Goofy's Barnstormer also.

My latest with the DVC- it isn't the planned Christmas gift. Darn. BUT he does want to do it next year, so it's not a loss. He says we can afford it around April or May. :Pinkbounc Now he's a little bummed cause he doesn't want me to be upset with my Christmas gift- he assures me it's 'still a good gift!" I'm sure it will be. :goodvibes

I really need some P & PD about the whole 'favors' thing- I just still have no desire. It's really starting to upset DH and we had a long talk about it last night, how it's affecting other areas of our relationship. I'm starting to wonder if it's not just the Depo, if I am going thru some sort of depression? But I don't think I am- I feel bored sometimes, but not blue or bummed out. :confused3 I still haven't had an Aunt Flo, so it's been since April that I have had a normal period. I had all those break thru bleeding in July, but I don't think that was a 'period.' Sigh. I just need something to shake up my body!

I know SOMETHING is going on with me hormonally, because I have broken out with pimples at least once a week for the last 3-4 weeks....I didn't even do this as a teenager, so I am hoping my body is gearing up for a massive hormonal shift, and Aunt Flo will be here soon. Sorry if TMI.

And speaking of my body, I have a call into the doctor- they are going to think I am a FREAK, cause I did this last Thursday. My pink eye is back- I jinxed myself yesterday by saying all was fine. It's been gone for a week; I was going to go to urgent care last Thursday to get some antibiotics, but by the time DH got home, it was late and it seemed to be getting better. It totally cleared up over the weekend, and earlier this week, but last night I could feel my glands get tender, and sure enough, I woke up with a red and crusty eye again. So, I have a message into my doctor, and I will either get my butt down there sometime today, or go to urgent care tonight. :sad2:

Fab- I meant to say, that TP and cat food at my Costco cost at least $100, so I am sure what you spent was just normal. ;)

Buzz- hope you are able to survive in the rec room while the cleaning service is there; I am just dreading what appt time the doctor comes up. I am sure it will interfere with either school bus time or naptime.

GLT- thinking of you and your hectic schedule- I hope everything works out timewise. :wizard:

lissawynn- that cracks me up that a fellow teacher of yours is a former student! I guess time marches on, doesn't it. My closets are teeny too- if people didn't have a lot of clothes in the 1940s, they REALLY didn't around 1900. Our big bedroom's closet is a joke- right now only DH's clothes are in there, since I have less and less clothes that need to be hung up as the years go by where I am not working.

Diz- kids are funny, aren't they? I remember being fascinated by my dad's crutches when he hurt his ankle when I was about Hannah's age. And we were the same height then, so I really could use his crutches.

Justhat- your description of SL's coworker being Dory cracked me up! What a good analogy! :rotfl2: I'm enjoying your trip report very much!

SL- maybe that woman is on some weird medication where she can't remember things very well....I wonder how she gets work accomplished if she can't remember coworker's names!!!

Nuc- I have had portrait sessions that were similar....so exhausting and stressful! I am sure she got some good shots though. What are you going to make from the Willams Sonoma recipe booklet for Turkey Day? I need to thumb through that again.

Z- I'm so sorry the tumor is as large as it is. That is scary. My grandmother died from colon cancer when she was only 59...I know my mom is VERY careful about getting all the screenings and such after losing her mother at a young age. My mom is 59 now, and shows no signs of it, thank God. Sounds like the exchange package came at the perfect time, and now I am hoping we are able to get what we want through the actual DVC so you can get those Disney Dollars!

We're thinking of starting with 150-175 points, as I don't *think* we will do a big WDW trip every year, so we can bank most of our points for a 10 day trip every other year. Also, do any of you DVCers know- if DH and I buy this next year, will my mom and I be able to use some points when we go to France and stay at DLParis for a couple nights? I would love to be able to pay for that part of it, the hotel room at DLP I mean.

Well, I need to vacuum and get Molly & Josh dressed. Hi to all the mommies I missed this morning- Kim, Joats, Jill, Val, Tasha, Cabsmom, Ryan, JD, FF..

Robin - Have you gotten rid of your mascara and anything else that may have touched your eye when you had pink eye the first time? The only thing I can think of is that you're reinfecting your eye with something. I've done it with contacts. Now that I use the disposable ones, I just toss them when my eyes feel funky.

I wish I had some advice about the "favors". I don't want my DH near me on most days. I'm tired, I feel like a cow, and being cooped up with Jimmy all night is really wearing on my nerves. I just want to be left alone to sleep. Plus, how romantic can you really get when you're all sleeping in the same room and we don't even have a bed?

Speaking of "favors", last night DH starts going on and on about how he'd really like us to have a thrid child. WTH? I know, with absolute certainty, that I am done after two. He kept saying how children are such a blessing, etc, etc. I agree, but I simply cannot go through the morning sickness and dragging myself into work when I feel like garbage.
I was actually kind of pi$$ed at him, to be honest. I thought we'd settled this a long time ago. I have been telling him that I'm going for a tubal as soon as I can after Annabel is born. Maybe it's b/c he has four sisters...but his mom never had a full-time job (then it was as a waitress)when the kids were little.

lissa- I haven't even worn makeup in a week, so I know it's not that. I washed all my bedding in hot water last weekend (when I thought it was totally cleared up and gone)....I always wash towels and washcloths regularly...I even replaced my facial soap last weekend. It's pi$$ing me off, quite frankly.

DH pulled the whole 'children are a blessing' thing with me too; which is true. And it's how we got Molly, but he even said a few things about a 4th when he was overseas- I was like, NO WAY JOSE- as a woman, I think you just know when you are done. You know how much you can handle, and what your body can take. Like you, I just couldn't fathom the thought of another pregnancy.

OMG- I have been in a phone call whirlwind the last hour. Southwest released our flight dates, and it was hecka expensive to fly back on our original date...but if we bumped up our departure and arrival days by 2 days, the price went down by $600. Sooooooooooooo.... I call Shades....they don't have the first night available, but have all dates after that open. I save all 8 nights....I call WDW, the Poly is available all those days. So I did a switcharoo. Instead of being at SOG the first 4 nights and Poly the last 5, we will be at the Poly the first 5 nights, and SOG the last 4. AND I got our airfare, ROUNDTRIP from coast to coast for $1073!!!!!!!!!!! For all FIVE of us, as Molly will have to have a seat! Isn't that amazing!? Worth the hassle of switching everything around. So now my dates are March 19-28th- FF and Z, I will still be there the dates we talked about originally. :thumbsup2 I do have to remember to cancel the boy's Pirate Cruise; I did have the state of mind to switch our CA Grill ressie around.

OK, gotta go for real now! I have done nothing.

Bellacam- Glad that things are holding up. You’re ALMOST there!

DisKim- I’ve been watching Top Model too. My DSis got me into it and now we gossip about it every week. DH thinks I’m ridiculous.

Alice- It’s so cute when all your hard work with kids pays off. MIL thought I was INSANE for starting to put Livvie on the potty, but of course the last time she watched her, she used the potty and MIL was ecstatic.
I can’t believe the pink eye is back again!

Zalansky- I’m glad you’re hanging in there.

SL- Too funny about that woman at work! I used to have a problem like that with a woman who works in the same building with me. Now she just asks about the baby every time I see her, so at least she recognizes me as the woman who comes to work with that baby!

Lissawynn- I love the red peppers much more than the green ones too. I could really go for a stuffed red pepper now!

Well, I worked at home all morning. Olivia sleeps so well when she’s curled up on my lap, and at least I was able to type up reports while she was in that position. I’m getting ready to go out now, and HOPEFULLY make it to the post office today with my package. :Pinkbounc This afternoon we're looking at the bridesmaid dresses for DBro's wedding. Lord help me if I'm the fattest bridesmaid again. I love my SIL, but at her wedding the bridal party was all tall and thin except for stumpy old me. To top it off, we had our makeup done, and the woman put WAY too much on me so I looked like a chubby old lady of the night sneaking into the bridal party.

I did an application for the WPASDI game. I could certainly use some of those prizes! I hope at least one of us gets picked to be on a team.

Alice--you should be able to use the points you get for DLP--HOWEVER, if I remember correctly, the exchange is outrageous--lot of pts. per room. I can check for sure if you'd like! Crud about the pink eye!

Hey, and I'm right with you on the "favors" thing. DH just touches me and I recoil. And it's really not him, and he doesn't understand that. Besides the fact that I'm being hung on all day long by one or both kids, the BC I'm on is the pits. I've been taking the mini-pill since DS was born b/c of the bfeeding. Well, since I've stopped bfeeding, I've been getting Aunt Flo or breakthrough bleeding every 5-7 days or so! What a crock--makes for getting "in the mood" all but shot to heck! Now, I can't decide at my next gyn. appt. whether to go with a regular pill or just go off it all together. :confused3

gina--glad you could get some work done.

Sorry, just another drive by from me. Emma has come to me saying her "mouth hurts" and she won't eat anything and is now just lying on the couch watching TV--just not like her. I'm really hoping it's not strep--just not what we need right now! So off to comfort her! Chat later!

It is POURING here and I'm praying that our roof is not leaking. The tarp was on this morning, but we're supposed to be getting 20-30 mph wind gusts.
My sister is bringing Jimmy home from my dad's, so I only have to go to the store for ground beef.

Alice - It's great that you were able to change your dates! Do you have to change any of your ADRs?

nucpharm - I will NEVER go on the Pill again. When I was on after Jimmy, I would throw up every time I started a new pack. And forget trying to remember to take the darn thing.

Ginamarie - Glad Olivia slept and you were able to get some work done. I wish Jimmy would nap like he used to do.

I am out of here and off to the store.

Alice--I forgot that you asked what I was making for Thanksgiving. I'm making the dressing recipe out of the Williams Sonoma booklets sans chestnuts. I went into to buy the stuffing mix and chestnuts yesterday, and for some reason couldn't justify spending $17 on French Chestnuts! I'm also making sweet potato casserole (for the kids) and a cherry cranberry crumble, both recipes are out of this month's cooking light! I'm going to roast a chicken tonight, though, using the roast turkey recipe in the WS booklet, the one with Herbs de provence--should be yummy! :thumbsup2

lissawyn--sure hope your house is nice and dry. We had the torrential rain and wind yesterday--Yuck! Hope your's is over quickly!

Okay, back to the sick child on the couch--but she seems to be feeling better now. I'm wondering if her "hurt mouth" was due to her biting her tounge or something? :confused3 I'm sure I'll be back on later!
