Gem -wow, I can't believe you are already halfway through your pregnancy. Amazing how quickly it goes when you're not the one pregnant ;) Prayers for your neice. :wizard: I love the pics, thanks for sharing! Amazing how taboo nursing can be in the States compared to by you!

Bellacam -sorry you are not feeling well. Glad DH is around to help.
FF - so school starts this week for you? We don't start until Sept. 5. This is the first year I'll have to make lunches, I think I might cry. I can't believe my baby is growing up. I remember when she was a tiny peanut sleeping in my arms ALL the time. :sad1:

Val - good luck with your new job, I'm glad you are excited about it, that's a great sign! :thumbsup2 What is the costume ds selected for himself last year?
I hope breakfast was good and it wasn't too much of a clean up for you. I made pancakes today, but none of us were overly hungry. I think we are all -- at least I KNOW I am -- dealing with allergies. I know Leif is super fussy today and has a runny nose. DS is sneezing a storm and has a runny noise, so I'm hoping allergies and not colds. . . the mold level is really high here. Sorry so OT! :rolleyes1

Happy Sunday to all the DIS mommies!! :teeth:

Good morning all! I'm waiting for Luke to wake up so he can feed. Another quiet day in our house--I should do some Disney packing. Also, the Salvation Army is right around the corner from Jocelyn's new dance studio, so it's a perfect opportunity for me to clear out some stuff. I figure if I can fill a couple garbage bags with stuff each day, I'll have a ton of closet space by the time her 10 week class ends! I'm long overdue on clearing some stuff out--I need motivation!

glt--I don't get why some people (women! mothers!) think there's something wrong with nursing. That's what they're there for! In fact, one of the things I'm looking forward to on this Disney trip is, nursing wigs out my MIL! I confess, I'm a tad passive aggressive at times. She also completely flips out at us co-sleeping. Not that we have the infant in with us all night, every night, but we have them nearby and I find it easiest to let them fall asleep nursing, and we may or may not move them in the morning. The best thing I can think of with my MIL is, she had kids in an era ('60's) when nursing wasn't popular at all, so it's "weird". But, stick to your guns--Leif looks like, whatever you're doing, it's working for him! If you have a happy child who's developing normally, I would think that would be the end of that discussion. But hey, what do I know?

Gem--I hope they find out what's wrong with your niece. I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

Bellacam--Feel better soon!

Happy Birthday, Gina!

As far as Halloween costumes go, not much exciting in the fabric store. I still have to make a decision with Robert. Maybe I'll take him with me to the local Halloween store--I think I mentioned Jocelyn will be a mad scientist, which has loads of possibilities. Although I usually make costumes, it would be just as easy to buy a lab coat (with or without blood stains--we can add those) and some cool accessories. Then Celeste is our celestial angel and Luke is going as an organ grinder's monkey. I think DH will be the organ grinder, but I haven't told him yet! We usually have him "go with" the kids. One year we had Snow White, Bashful, and the 8th dwarf, Gassy. Then we had Belle and DH was the Beast. (That was the year Robert was Buzz Lightyear, hence my name!)

I have to go feed the little prince.

Hey everyone. Not too much to report here. Yesterday we went to the Army Navy store so DH could get new boots for work. He gets an allowence (sp?) for boots each year and hadn't bought himself a pair yet. Then we went to Boston Market for lunch. DH took Jimmy to his grandmother's for a few hours so I could rest.
Nothing at all to report today. DH is mowing and weeding in anticipation of our home assessment for the bank. I hope they do it soon. Jimmy is napping and I'm contemplating how I'm going to dismantle our desktop so I can take it to school tomorrow.

Val - We start class on 8/28, but I have in-service on Wed. & Thurs. of this week.

gems - Sorry for bringing you to the Coke side. I love the stuff. Btw, Shelby's pics are adorable.

Alice - Hope you had a good time at the street bash.

BnB - Good luck getting all of your stuff done this week.

GLT - Have you decided what you're going to do about gymnastics? I don't know if I could commit to three months' worth of weekends for meets, etc.

floridafam - I love school supplies! I love going out and buying new stuff for my room. I'm addicted to pens and Post-Its.

Good luck to everyone with their Halloween costumes. I'm just lucky my sister saved all of my nephew's stuff. I do have to figure out what I'm going to wear for Crazy Dress Day at school (we're not allowed to celebrate Halloween).

The dr. didn't give me any additional meds for my ms. I'm just taking the B6/Unisom as I need. I'm hoping this will be over soon.

Hope the rest of you have a great day!

Hello moms!

I don't have enough time to respond to everyone, but figured I'd pop in.

Gottalovethem- Don't worry about the breastfeeding, when Leif is ready to wean he will. DH's cousins are completely grossed out by breastfeeding. I can't understand it.

The couch recovering is going well. We have most of the cushions done, but still have to do the back part and the bottom/sides. Right now it looks like Frankenstein's couch. I got a bunch more packing done, but we're nowhere near being finished. Less than 2 weeks until closing and I have no idea how I'll get everything done.

My birthday was a bit of a disaster. Some relatives wound up fighting right after the cake came out and there were a bunch of tears. I'm not looking forward to next week's Christening party now with all the tension between everyone. :sad2:

Olivia is so cute today. She hasn't pooped since Thursday, so I'm expecting a blowout of unbelievable proportions now. Joy oh joy!

GM - Sorry to hear that your birthday didn't go well, families huh who'd have them! ;)

GLT - Nursing is still a bot taboo here, there has been a real big push with the National Health Service and Childbirth Trust publicising it and places where nursing moms can feed their babies and not be self consious. Believe me there are still a lot of people (mostly men) here who don't approve of feeding babies with your breasts - obviously that wasn't what they are made for!

Lissawynn - Is your MS still really bad? You must be 15 weeks now - surely it can't go on for much longer? I am so glad to be out of that stage now, even though I still get the odd twinge and gag for no reason!!

We haven't had a very eventful day, although I have cooked food from the Gina Ford weaning book and Shelby won't eat it. Both DH and I have eaten and it was really nice, but she just wont have a bar of it at all. She's got herself so worked up that all she would take was her formula and now she has gone to bed! Oh well I guess she will be up at 4am for more formula!
The only thing that I can think of it that another tooth is breaking through and it hurts. I don't know! :)

BTW my DN's Doctors have said that they aren't happy about doing the tests on her for the Meckels as they involve radio activity and as she is so little they are thinking of trying other ways to diagnose, so we are no further forward today. Thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers, you guys are great!

I was just wondering if anyone would like to take part in a Christmas DIS Mom's and Babies Exchange, if you would like to please post or PM me and I will arrange it. I know it's a bit early but I think it would be fun! :)

GEM,

I hope that Shelby is feeling better. Those teeth can be so painful for them. I always feel so bad for Kona when she has a tooth coming in.

I understand why your DN's Doctors are concerned about the Meckel's scan. Whatever they end up doing, please be sure they are certain. The thought of another little one having to endure all the trouble it causes is so sad.

I can't stop thinking about her situation. I will keep praying for her.

Did she have anything else wrong with her at birth? Even something little. My DD also had a sacral dimple. It's like a little dimple at the end of the spine. I know they aren't connected but I guess the Meckel's is considered a birth defect that develops rather early on in the pregnancy. I always thought maybe there was a reason that she ended up with both things wrong.

Do you know the amount of blood that was in her diapers? If it is a fair amount, then I would really think it wouldn't be from a fissure. I am the last person to jump to conclusions but it makes me cringe to hear that because we must have been told 20 times that "it's just from a fissure. :sad2: "

Please keep us posted on how she is doing.

I'm up for a Christmas mom and baby exchange. I'll PM you my info soon. I was just going to post about an exchange. I thought some of you may want to do a Fall exchange but Christmas is fine with me, too. I haven't participated in an exchange here yet so I am looking forward to it.

Also, if any of you mommies need a Mickey lamp shade, I have one. DH won a Mickey Mouse lamp at his Christmas party a few years ago and it broke. He threw the lamp away (I think it could have been fixed) but I have the shade and it still has the plastic on it. It's like a khaki color with silhouettes (sp??)of Mickey on it. Just PM me if you want it and I will send it out.

I'm pretty sure this is the lamp shade.

Thanks all for the nursing encouragement, I need and appreciate it! I'm the last one to promote it as it being the only way (I think bottles are an OK way to go too!) so it feels strange to me that we are still doing it, yet it doesn't bother me at all to be nursing, does that make sense?

Anyway, there weather here is wonderful and after church and lunch we spent a few hours outside with the neighbors and their kids. Now we are having "quiet" time. Which isn't nearly quiet enough for DH, but is great for my taste :)

FF - a fall exchange could be fun too.

gems- christmas exchange would be grand, just let me know what types of info you'd need -- should we do it per family?

GM - sorry the b'day went up in smoke, that bites. Hopefully all will be calm in time for the christening, it's at church, everyone has to behave, right? :thumbsup2 good luck :wizard:

lissawynn - boston market sounds great, I wish we had one here. Let us know what costume you come up with for Crazy Day. I'm sure the kids would love it if I dressed up for Halloween, but I have no idea what I would do. When it comes to myself I'm never that creative. . .

bnb - I think it's awesome that you are so crafty and creative! You must have some great pieces that you've created. I can't wait to see pics of your costumes this year!!

ok, kids fighting we've got to go

/
FF- Molly has that sacral dimple too. It bothers me, but the nurse practitioner looked at it REALLY close up with her microscope thingee, and she said it was closed, so I guess it's nothing. When DH first saw it after he came home he was like WHAT IS THAT!? It almost looks like another hole, but it's not. I can't believe your DD went until she was 5 until they figured out what was wrong and fixed it. Poor baby!

I'm up for ANY and ALL exchanges here on our mom's thread. So count me in for Fall or Christmas or both!

Gems- I keep thinking about your niece and your BIL/SIL and how stressful this must be for them. BTW, I love the pictures of Shelby. What a big girl she is becoming!

GLT- I hope you are enjoying your quiet time. I am having a quiet moment here and it's quite lovely!

GM- I'm so sorry your relatives started a fight right when it was cake time! Ugh! I hope the christening later this week isn't drama filled. LOL at the Frankenstein couch comment. I'm sure it will look great when it's all done.

BNB- I agree that most people I encountered who had 'comments' about breastfeeding were WOMEN! It just made me angry. And yes, it was sometimes women of my mother's generation (I was born in 72 and was not breastfed- my mom said she tried, but was dealing with PPD and just couldn't deal with it- she was very proud of me though for nursing the kids for as long as I did), but often women of my own generation! It just made me upset- I'm like GLT- if you want to bottle feed, and that's what you are comfortable with, that's awesome. Go for it! But don't judge me or make comments because I choose to breastfeed. I have NEVER had a problem or a look or a incident with nursing in public, and believe me, I did it many a time. Then again, I think Oregon is the state that has the highest population of mothers that breastfeed, so maybe it's more accepted here. I will say I stopped nursing Josh in public after 18 months- he was just so big and I felt weird about it in public. Like I said previously, I do believe the child was about 27 months by the time he FINALLY weaned completely.

Bellacam- I'm sorry you aren't feeling well! :grouphug: I hope it passes really soon. :wizard:

lissawynn- hard to believe summer is over already, isn't it? I can't believe there is only 2 weeks of vacation left. I hope you are able to get your desktop into your room and that DH finishes the yardwork.

FF- Macy's took over our branch of Marshall Fields- ours was called Meier and Frank. I just liked their buyers better. Since Macy's buyers took over the store 9 months or so ago, none of the clothes appeal to me. At all.

Well, we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We were going to go t Red Lobster, as I had some gift cards thanks to mypoints. But I was wanting CF, so I got to go! But my gosh that place is NOISY. Between my 3 children, the music and just the noise of the restaurant, I was feeling quite punchy when we left. On the way in Sam commented he wanted to eat outside and DH and I were like No, we want to eat inside- I wish we did- it was SO QUIET outside!

Those of you going to cash out on Sunshine the week after next- how many times can you cash out? I think I can only do it once. I just don't want to sign up for any more offers right now. I'm debating who to cash out with though; Disney Store so I can get a free costume; Target is a good standby; or Red Lobster? But on the off chance I get the $100 winner thing, I don't really want $100 at Red Lobster....I'm thinking Target. If I had a trip in the works, Disney, definitely.

DH asked me yesterday, out of guilt I believe (for some reason we got on the topic of when he was bizarro DH about 7 years ago and we almost split- it's a yucky topic that we are way beyond, but it makes me upset again when it comes up cause he was such a JERK! He admits now to going thru depression at that time, but never admitted it then). Anyway, he said, "Where would you want to go should I surprise you with a trip. I know you want to go to NYC, but if I chose WDW, which resort?" I said, "WL" And he said, "Really? We've already been there though." And I said, yes but it was our honeymoon resort and it would be fun." And then I Could tell he was looking for a different answer, so I said, "OK, the Beach Club- it would be fun being so close to World Showcase and the atmosphere of the Boardwalk."

I doubt this trip will come to fruition if we're going to go to Vegas this fall, but it was kind of him to ask. It will be very weird for us to be debt free except for the house and the tribeca- definitely more money for vacations! :cheer2:

Well, our Halloween costume issue is over. DH just up and bought the Mickey Mouse costume from the Disney Store. We tried it on him and it's just so cute. One less thing to worry about.

I'm having a lousy Sunday. Just because I'm dreading the upcoming week. I'm starting my 4 day work week and unfortunately, they haven't yet moved my desk. The girl who's desk I'm taking is not leaving until Friday so until then, I'm stuck. To top it off, I have jury duty on Thursday (that is, unless they call me off the night before). I hate to admit it, but I'm a poor citizen and I DO NOT want to even go to the courthouse. My aunt is an attorney and I'm hoping that if I have to go that's what will get me sent home. If that even matters, I don't know. The last time I got the notice I was called off.

Gem - Shelby is so cute in those pictures! I'll be sending more P & PD for your niece.

glt - Good luck with your nursing/weaning decision.

val - Good luck tomorrow on your first day. I can't wait to hear how it went.

bellacam - Hope you're feeling better soon.

BnB - Good luck with all the cleaning.

ginamarie - Sorry your bday didn't go so well.

Hi to all you other moms! I have to get Lucas's dinner ready for DH to take to the IL's. I have no doubt that whatever I pack won't meet FIL's standards.

I'd also like to add that I'm up for a fall or Christmas exchange. Or both!

:smickey: I meant to add that I too can't wait to hear about how your first day goes tomorrow Val! I take it she didn't mind you needed time off for your vacation? I think it's safe to say that in future exchanges, the mommies want a sample from your store as a little treat! LOL! :rotfl:

I keep checking our thread to see if Gretchen and Kim have had a chance to post. I cannot WAIT to hear about their trips.

Did anyone else see that the new dining plan for 07 doesn't include a LOT of the WS restaurants? I'm bummed about that. But then I thought, "well, we've been wanting to try a couple of the restaurants that take 2 table service credits, so we could just dine at those places with our TS credits, and pay OOP at Chefs or wherever else we wanted to go." I think WAY too much about these things!

OK, well, we're supposed to be heading to the neighbor's right now, but M is still asleep and who goes to a BBQ at 3? I don't want to sit around for 2 hourds in the sun...my good friend neighbor asked what time we were going, cause they didn't want to go at 3 either, so we agreed we would both show up around 3:45 or 4. :teeth: We're the cool rebel neighbors on the street. :rotfl:

SL- I know Lucas will make a GREAT Mickey! I hope your desk gets moved asap, and that somehow you don't get called for jury duty!

Everyone's Halloween costumes sound so cute.

I think Kona is going to be the butterfly from Pottery Barn. It is expensive but we can get it for free-long story. I just don't know if I want to spend $89 on a Hallowen costume when I can buy towels or something.

I think I'll probably end up getting something cheaper. She was Princess Leia (sp?) last year and it was so cute. It is still pretty hot here at Halloween so I have to watch what I buy.

I was going to get a cat costume for her and DH said he could probably find a little toy car and be Toonces the Driving Cat from SNL. :rotfl2:

Robin,

They wouldn't let Kona leave the hospital until they did an ultrasound of her dimple. I'm glad Molly's is closed.

Strawberry Lemonade,

The Mickey Mouse costume sounds so cute. I hope everyone posts pictures of their little ones when Halloween rolls around.

Don't worry about Lucas's dinner. Kona had blueberries and graham crackers for dinner. That's all she wanted. :confused3

GEM,

I love Shelby's pictures!!

ginamarie,

I'm sorry your Birthday didn't go as planned. I hope you were able to enjoy the day a little and take some time for yourself. Maybe you can treat yourself to a little something this week.

gottalovethem,

Don't worry about the nursing. You know what is best for your child. I did it as long as I could with all of mine, which wasn't very long. They were so gosh darn hungry that I just couldn't keep up.

lissawynn,

I love school supplies, too. Even if I don't need them. I'm hoping our Target has a good clearance soon. I took the kids there a couple of years ago and we filled a cart with stuff that was 90% off. We had so much fun that they still talk about it.

Well, we are taking it easy until bedtime. The kids are watching Leroy and Stitch. :confused3 I guess it's pretty funny.

Dh took the day off tomorrow so we could walk the kids to school and get the yearly first day of school picture. I am going to take pictures in both of my kid's classes throughout the year and make a DVD at the end of the school year for us or any of the other parents who want one.

I'll check back later.

Wow, I'm way behind. Lots of posts in the past couple of days! We went to my friends house yesterday so that took up most of the day and by the time we got home around 9pm I was ready for bed. Today we went to BRU and I finally got to spend the rest of my giftcard from you ladies. I had planned to go on the 4th but clearly that didn't work out. I got Henry the cutest lion snowsuit and raccoon socks that go with the raccoon outfit I got him last time (they did not have socks last time I was there). I promise I'll take some photos to show you all tonight cause I'm taking Henry's photos for his birth announcement so I'll have the camera out and charged. I wa waiting till he looked less yellow before I took the pictures, but who knows when that will be since his levels are holding steady at 12 and 7 is the cutoff for visible jaundice.

I've got an incredible headache so I'm going to have to put off catching up for the moment. I hope DisKim and Gretchen had great trips and can't wait to hear about them! Oh, and BnB, how do you clean your uncirc'd boys? Since we had planned to circ Henry I really know nothing about intact care and have read both to pull the foreskin back and also to leave it alone so I don't know what to do. I should have asked at the dr but never thought about it till his first real bath tonight so I figured I'd ask someone with experience.

Oh I am glad that everyone wants to do the Christmas Exchange, please PM me with the following info before the 8th September 06, I will send you your exchange pals details a couple of weeks after that! I am starting early as it will take 8 weeks for my exchange to get to my pal, and I don't want them to be missing out on Christmas!

Oh this is exciting!

If theres anything else that I have forgotten please let me know!

Gems

Hi everyone! It feels like I've been gone forever. We got in late last night. We had a great trip. The heat was pretty bad though. It got to me once or twice. I was very happy that I rented a car. The buses at POR were horrible. We only took them once and Aidan screamed. I thought the parks were way more crowded than last August. Aidan really seemed to enjoy everything except for AK. He hated that park. There was really nothing there for him and it was so hot.

I went to the DVC presentation because we are really considering buying in. I know a couple of you here own DVC. Do you like it? Is it worth such a large investment. I'm really not sure what to do. I want to do it, but I could be doing a lot of other things with that money. We were going to buy 200 points. When I look at the charts, that's not even enough for a week during most of the time periods we would want to stay. Any advice?

Diskim--we own DVC and it was a perfect fit for our family. But that being said, both of our kids are not in school, so we can travel just about whenever we want. And studio accomodations fit our family just fine. But when you have to work with school schedules and need a 1 bed or bigger, it can get expensive. We bought the least amount of points we could and that has worked for us. THis next year we are spending part of Easter week (premiere season) at WDW and then dsis and I are using exchanging some points to stay at a luxury hotel for a weekend. We also travel a lot to Hilton Head Island, so Disney having a resort there really sold us on DVC. PM me if you want any other specifics!

ff--if you still have that lamp shade available I'd love it! During the move, somehow Emma's lampshade broke, and we've just sort of "made do" with it. PM me!

Gems--I'm all for a christmas exchange! I'll PM you later, as our computer is pretty iffy right now! The pics of shelby are adorable

SL--good luck with school!

Alice--crossing my fingers that the Disney trip will pan out!

Val--good luck today!

Justhat--Love the pic of the little bumblebees!

lissawyn--enjoy your last week before work really starts!

GLT--UGH on parents and nursing! My dad would say something like "Matthew wouldn't spit up so much if he would use a bottle." WTH????? My parents just didn't "get" nursing either--Matthew sort of weaned himself in the past month. He was just getting too distracted to nurse for longer than a couple of minutes, and it was just getting frustrating for the both of us. Leif will wean when ready. You have beautiful children, so you are doing something right! Did you decide what to do about DD and the gymnastics?? Emma is starting gymnastics next week--she is so excited!

WEll, the schools start here this am--which really doesn't affect us at all--except that means that all of the activities that I do with Emma start in the next week. Library storytimes, gymnastics, etc--so time for me to set up some kind of schedule! Have a great Monday all! We'll have Dish network set up tomorrow morning and DSL on Wed. Can't wait!!!!!

Hi everyone! Greetings from my classroom! I have a ton of things to get done, but it's getting there. Our computer guy hooked up my desktop and I'm so happy I don't have to use the crappy computer I had last year.

I'll be back later! Have a great day! :teacher:

DisKim,

We own DVC and LOVE it. We bought when we were in Michigan and used it all the time.

We still use it since moving to Florida. My parents have even used it when they come down to visit us.

How did you hear about it? If you do end up buying in you can put one of the moms from this thread down that already owns DVC and they will get $200.

We mainly use it for weekdays. We usually pay cash if there is a night we can't get and have gotten a discounted rate through DVC for all of our cash stays.

I'm sure we could all answer any questions you have.

Sorry to hear the heat got to you. It has been really bad this summer. It's just starting to cool off today.

nucpharm,

I'll send you a PM

Well, my babies are in school. :guilty: I know they love it and were really happy but it's still a little sad on the first day of school.

lissawynn,

Have a great day at school! Take it easy.

I'll check back later.

lissawynn - Is today your first day back to school? If it is, good luck and have a great school year. How are you feeling? Is your ms any better?

GLT - I thought of you a lot on my trip. How the heck did you do Disney by yourself with 3 kids. DH and I were having trouble managing the 3 kids with 2 of us! I was jealous of the families that had grandparents along!

Gretchen - I hope you had a great trip! I'm sorry we didn't meet up. My kids literally ran me ragged throught the parks. We never even relaxed in the pool. They were like the Disney gestapo. I never even had a moment to make a phone call. Disney with 3 kids of very different ages was very overwhelming.

OK, I, of course, need to share some more trip details here since I'm sure my friends and family are sick of hearing me ramble about my trips. I don't think I would go during free dining again. It was a great deal and I thought the staff did a great job of getting us in in less than 20 minutes everywhere we went. I just thought the deal attracted too many people. The parks and restaurants were mobbed. I also felt like a slave to my itinerary and it was a pain to get to my ADR's all the time with 3 kids who had other ideas of what they wanted to do. We actually skipped dinner one night because we just couldn't get there and we couldn't eat any more. I came across a lot of nasty cm's on this trip too. However, most of the cm's were great. When we went to Mama Melrose's, Emmy and Alex were fighting, tired and miserable. They both had their heads on the table and said they didn't want to eat there. The waitress must have said something to the manager because he came over and totally changed my kids' attitudes. He asked them 3 trivia questions and offered to give them a pin each if they got them right. The first one was which is the biggest park in terms of the amount of land. I had read that it was AK in the UG and told Emmy about it when we were in AK so she got that right. Long story short, they answered the 3 questions and he gave Alex a POTC cast member pin and Emmy picked a pin off his lanyard. They were so happy and we really enjoyed our meal :wizard: .

BTW, I just had to say that I am amazed that Johnny Depp is hot even as an animatronic figure. It kind of disturbed me to find a robot attractive :lmao: ! I was wishing they had put Orlando Bloom in there too! I thought the ride was awesome BTW! I wanted to ride it again but never got a chance.

I'll post some pictures when we get them downloaded. I bought the photo cd with my visa rewards. I haven't even had a chance to look at it yet. Well, my house looks like a laundromat. I better go tackle these loads. This was the first trip that I didn't even have time to do laundry!

DisKim! So glad you are back! I'm sorry it was too hot, but it sounds like overall you guys had a lot of fun. :thumbsup2 I can't wait to hear even more details and see some pictures.

lissawynn- hope you have a good day organizing and such in your classroom.

nucpharm- YAY on the DSL and dish being installed, FINALLY!

FF- I'm so looking forward to a quiet house once the boys start school. It will be a little strange though, esp with Joshua going this year. But he only does half day K, so that's not too bad.

justhat- glad you got to do some more shopping! I can't wait to see more pics of Henry. :cloud9:

Gems- I will PM you my info shortly.

I woke up with a sore throat. I don't think it's strep, but time will tell. No one else has been sick- I don't know where I got this. My glands started to swell yesterday, and I slept like crap. Ugh.

BB7 is sure getting interesting. I am officially part of the "I hate Boogie" club now. He is just a conceited ****.

DisKim - Welcome back! I'm glad to hear you had a nice trip, despite the heat. I can't wait to see some pictures.

Alice28 - I hope that sore throat isn't strep.

floridafam - Good luck to your kids on their first day of school.

lissawynn - I hope you get your classroom in order quickly! Hope you have a great year!

nucpharm - Hope you have no trouble getting your internet and satellite hooked up.

Gem - I PM'd my info this morning. How does a family exchange work? Is it the same whether you have 1 kid or 3 kids? LOL - I'm a little slow today. I don't think I "get it".

justhat - I can't wait to see some new pictures of Henry. At that age, they change daily. I hope your headache cleared up.

The Mickey costume DH bought is not the same one as on the disneyshopping.com website. The one online looks like a one piece with long sleeves and legs with attached footies and built-in hood and the one we have is overall style with no arms or legs and the gloves, booties, and hood are separate. Fine for WDW - we'll just put a sweatsuit underneath for Halloween at home. Just in case any of you are looking for Disney costumes for little ones - the sizes go up to either 24 or 36 months (leave it to a man not to be sure) and DH said they had Mickey, Pooh, Nemo, Chicken Little, and a bunch of princess dresses.

Work is work. At least it's quiet here today. Hope everyone has a great day. :wave2:
