Well 3 months after he was shipped to Mel, Bob has arrived back in PA and is safe and sound.

It's always nice when the post office has NO explanation for why he was returned.

Another mystery in the croc thread.

He's here and I've PM"d Mel. If anyone wants him....I'm kind of afraid to do anything but hand deliver him at this point!!

Yayyyy!~ I'm so excited to pick her up at SSR from you. By the way, I am now arriving on October 31 rather than November 1 (Delta Airlines--grrrrr.) Just so you can put it on her when you leave her there.

Fang has been safely transferred fo sfarmbo per their response to my text message. Yay for FedEx, POR CMs, and sfarmbo!!

Didn't have time to put that GPS chip in Fang, dang it... Of course the couple hundred bucks it would've cost could fill my gas tank... two or three times...

Flower was spotted today at SSR, so there are two crocs staying here now. I didn't see her, but the person who did (B) said the girl carrying her kept giving her the evil eye, like B was going to steal Flower or something. She was just trying to see the name on the tag.

Flora is having a fabulous time here, will post pictures after we get home.

Flower arrived safe and sound from the UK!

My DS3 almost had a heart attack over here when he saw her.

I think it is kind of neat that last October we rec'd her from Jason, and this year, we will be sending her back to him after our trip.

She is going to help me print door magnets for our trip and do a little packing today.

To think it's been over a year...

We are just under six weeks before going and are making final arrangements...(getting gas and making bathroom stops - everything else has been done for months!! )

Will love to see Flower again and catch up on all she's done and seen!!

We had a great week at Disney with Flora. After she was rescued from the truck, she laid around on the couch for a few days. The day before we left Flora decided she needed a bath. After going through the swirly bathtub she went into the tumbling dry heat sauna. This is her after her bath, just waiting to leave.

Here she is with DD on the plane.

On our first day at MK, Flora tried to attack Stitch but they just ended up playing together.

Flora spent most of the trip either hanging on me or on dd.

Ok, here is some more of what Flora did last week. Here she is with DH and DD.

Flora got to visit with Tigger and Rabbit for a while.

She got to look through Minnie's nice clean house.

And sit in Minnie's chair.

Flora really enjoyed the corn dogs and fries before watching Wishes.

She had fun riding on the Carousel later that night.

She had to go visit a cousin at Animal Kingdom.

And get her picture taken on the sign.

And one last picture, just hanging out in the kitchen.

I just wanted to let you know that we are just finishing our 10 day WDW trip and Flora is packed safely in our luggage and will be on her way to NYC soon. We are sitting at Orlando airport now.
She had a wonderful time in FL. She went to Mickey's Christmas Party, saw La Nuba, ate at T Rex, galloped around Whispering Canyon with my 5 y/o, and had many character dining experiences! She loved the one bedroom unit at Old Key West. Although the pullout couch she had to share with my two girls was a bit lumpy!
She ate so much food- she'll have to diet to get ready for her next trip! It was yummy though!
I'll be contacting the next person to make mailing arrangements.
Just to let you know- I received a lanyard with some pins, and Flora. No journal or accessories.
We did give her a good bath (she was filthy) and bought her a princess hat and a new lime green Mickey head keychain. I did pull off the dirty ribbons. She looks lovely now! Ready for her next trip. We'll let her rest up at our house for a bit to recoup!
It was a fun trip to share with her and we'd love to travel with her again sometime.
I will print out some pictures and start a new journal to send along with her to her new host.

I waited till I was completely sure before I posted here.
I can not find Flora.
I know I packed her in my small suitcase the night before we left WDW. When I unpacked I did not see her. I wanted to wait till I had turned everything inside out before posting this here. I can't find her.
She's not in my suitcase. I know I went over the hotel room with a fine tooth comb before we left.
I am trying to figure out what happened. My best guess is that my 4 y/o took her out that last morning and I just missed her in all of the chaos. My daughter can't really say one way or the other. She knows I am upset and keeps coming up with new stories about where Flora is. I don't think she knows.
My worst fear is that she is lost somewhere other than the resort.
Can you check the lost focker email?
I am just heartsick over this. I can't sleep for worry of what happened to poor Flora.
I have already called Old Key West and they are checking for her. The desk clerk that I spoke with is also going to check with the mousekeeper.
i will be calling DVC in the morning. We have a good friend there at WDW and he'll do what he can to look around. We stopped in to see him at Saratoga Springs DVC office before we caught the Magic Express- so perhaps Flora got lost there? I just don't remember even seeing my daughter with Flora that morning.
I am SO sorry. Let's hope there is already a message waiting in the lost crocker email account.
I'll post if anything new comes up.
I do still have Flora's pins. I took them off her lanyard to keep them safe.

I will be sending a new Croc to the next person on the list. We'll call her Fauna- Flora's cousin. I'll fix her up with a lanyard and she can keep Flora's pins safe for us till Flora can be found.
I don't want the next family on the list to miss out on the Crocodile fun.
I just feel so terrible about this. I know this doesn't replace Flora- but at least the fun doesn't have to completely stop.
It's all I can think to do at this point. Hopefully someone will find Flora and send her on home.

There is (was) already a croc named Fauna. How about Merryweather? After one of the fairy godmothers in Sleeping Beauty of course.

I am really bummed that Flora is missing. I hope she shows up before March because I really want to take her back with us.
