I just got back from DW an hour or so ago, and I want everyone to know that Flora and Fauna are doing great. I passted Flora off on Wednesday night via face to face meeting. Her new foster family was thrilled!
I had concierge at AKL take Fauna to WL to meet her new family. She'll be there waiting when they check in.

Just wanted to mention that when I checked in at POLY for the first 1/2 of my stay, I immediately asked about the Crocs. I was told they were in my room, but of course, I hadn't paid for concierge service there, so I was confused. The front desk manager came out and told me that the crocs didn't want to stay in storage, so they bumped me to up to CL level, Hawaii building with a MK view and had both crocs on the bed with towel animals waiting for me when I arrived!!! Bless the power for the crocs!

That is absolutely wonderful!!!

I have to tell you that when I went to the Poly to deliver Flora, I spoke to about 3 different CMs to make sure I was leaving her in the right place! With all the Focking disappearances, I didn't want to take any chances with Flora and I know she was scared leaving our family & all ....... I explained the WHOLE Focking story to one of the bellhops who thought it was just a hoot! I gave a more condensed version when I passed her along to the concierge desk but made sure I stressed the importance of her delivery!

Okay ....... here we go .........

We picked up Flora in person, in Fantasyland on 7/1/07 ..... It was an EMH meeting, but we all managed to meet up by the carrousel.

The first thing Flora did was go ride the TTA with us

On our way out of the MK, she had to stop to check out the menu board at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station (I think she was hinting about a midnight snack!)

We rode the monorail back to the GF & got the front car! Since they only allow parties of 4 in the front, Flora hitchiked in DH's shirt pocket in an effort not to draw attention to the fact that we were, in fact, a party of 5!

Once at the GF, we had the valet driver pull our car around .... while waiting, the kids (including Flora) had to pose in the beautiful carriage!

After riding in DH's shirt pocket, Flora quickly informed us that she did NOT intend to walk around the hot theme parks all day! Well, we were at a loss about what to do .... I didn't have stroller rental built into our budget! Fortunately, our DS7 is quite a crafty fellow & found a quick solution to our delima!

It seems his fanny pack has a perfect "pocket" with netting built right in to the side! This appears to have been designed with water bottles in mind, but Flora found it to be quite comfy & was happy traveling the world at his side all week! This also gave her a place to ride the thrill rides without the threat of falling out of the safety harnesses!

On the way over to MGM, Flora thought of having her own seat on the bus, but quickly found the window railing & decided that was much better! Apparantly, she can't see out the window from a regular bus seat.

At MGM, Flora found Ewoks in the Star Tours gift shop & thought they were just ADORABLE! She developed a crush quickly, but I was able to remove her without making a scene.

(let's not talk about what this looks like folks ..... I think this is a family thread! )

Every time DH & I ordered drinks of the "adult" variety, Flora quickly reminded us she is 21 & immediately went for the drinks. We caught her in the act more than once ....... fortunately, she wasn't able to drink too much!!!

DH finally broke down & got a second straw in his pina colada to share with her!

We also discovered Flora has a bit of a sweet tooth & caught her heading for dessert more than once!

This dessert, from Coral Reef, also contains alcohol. She thought that was simply the best of both worlds!!!

Although she had a perfectly good net pouch in which to tour the world, Flora would occassionally hop out & go for a ride on the shoulder of one of the kids ...

Throughout the trip, we would catch her hanging out in some interesting places ....

She said she liked all the beautiful flowers at Disney World because they remind her of her sister, Fauna. We told her "Flora, do NOT pick the flowers!" but, she manage to sneak one while we weren't looking!

(actually, DD came to her defense & said it had already fallen off when Flora picked it up, but we just aren't sure)

A pirate's life for Flora .....

Flora quickly caught on that Pirates are the big thing at the world now & decided she too wants to be a Pirate!

And what better than a Focking Pirate Croc!?!?!

She also likes to party & we found her in the brim of DD's sombrero doing the Mexican Hat Dance!!!

Of course, you all know about Felicia ..... poor DisneyDude wasn't able to host her, but still joined our meeting & posed for the camera!

In addition to the alcohol & desserts, we tried to encourage Flora to eat regular meals during our trip.

At the Kona Cafe', I wouldn't share my Tonga Toast, but she did manage to get into my Kona blend coffee!

Flora really enjoyed being part of our Focking Foster Family for the week. She slept with the kids & posed for a family photo at the Liberty Tree Tavern.

When the kids went to the Harmony Barber Shop on Main St. USA, Flora immediately hopped in the chair to have hers done too. We had quite a time explaining that they don't do crocs there .....

My DS7 has a very special companion named "Froggy". We've had Froggy since he (DS) was about a year old. Froggy is quite well traveled & has been to WDW many times. DS has an extensive collection of frogs these days, but there is only ONE Froggy! Froggy is so well loved that, over the years, he has had many surgeries (courtesy of DGM). He has had stitches too many times to count & had a complete internal organ replacement - twice! No matter what, Froggy will forever be a part of our family!

Now, all that being said, in the many years Froggy has lived with us, never once has he told us his last name. We've never really pushed him on this subject as it has not been an issue for our family.

Once we got Flora, we immediately saw the family resemblence! As it turns out, Froggy's last name is Focker! Evidently, they are long-lost cousins!!!

Flora did notice Froggy's custom made clothing & immediately inquired about hers! We had to explain that DGM made those & she was not on this trip to whip out a set for Flora.

Alas, as much as we enjoyed the trip, all good things must come to an end.

On the final morning, I wrote a quick note to Flora's next Foster Mom for her delivery to the Poly. I noticed the ribbon on my note cards was the perfect shade, so I decided it would look beautiful around Flora's neck. What do you think?

When we arrived at the Poly, I was the only one to go in to deliver Flora. The kids had to say good-bye in the car. They were very sad to see her go!

(yes - there were a few crocodile tears shed!)
