I haven't been to DL since childhood, but I believe there's a gator statue in a part of the park dedicated to New Orleans. I could be wrong. Yup. I'm wrong. Must be at Port Orleans or something... A misconception I've long held now cleared up...


See post 2175 at the bottom... That's what I was talking about. In VMK, there's a "Gator Waiter" in the New Orleans Square" area and I've had it in my head that the real DL had a gator character.

Hello! Flower and I are at Disneyland.

Here is Flower as we made our way down the 5 freeway.

Here we are entering our room at the Ho Jo.

Flower tried some Dough Knots at Napolini in Down Town Disney.

Flower visited with a bear in front of White Water Snacks at the Grand California Hotel.

We are back at the hotel now. He have a Hyena meet 1st thing in the morning.

Here are some pics as promised. We kept Flower on a short leash since the parks were so packed. She was quite happy to hang around on my hip pack. (Literally! LOL) Includes a very rare photo of me. Looking oh so fabulous at 7:30am. And a silent movie my DD made of Flower um, attacking? LOL I had no idea her camera had no sound so it's like a weird old home movie.

Hello! Flower and I are back. Here are some more pictures.
On Saturday we went to the food and Wine Festival in California Adventure. Flower tried a Berry Trifle:

We met some DIS'ers who were there on the Ladies Trip also. MamaKate, toocherie, 21yankees, and Me and Flower

After that we braved Tower of Terror. ( and yes I was too cheap to buy the picture so I took a picture of it )

On Sunday we were in Disneyland. Here is Flower on Space Mountain.

She had such a great time and I had a blast with her! I can't wait until she, or one of the other Crocs can come back to California!!

Flower is all set for her trip to New York. I'm sure she'll be very happy to get out of the CA sun. It was HOT this weekend!

Great stuff, MotoX!! And you got her with Eeyore, my personal favorite! I would say I'm jealous, but the Flower pics from you and Mary have given me a welcome and needed smile. I've not been on the boards much this week without feeling awful for the loss of Bawb. This thread was and will be a nice pick-me-up in the future. Glad you both had a fun time and thanks again for the smile.

I had a blast with Flower. I just wish I had taken more pictures. One tends to forget with all the other excitment of Disneyland going on.

I hear Flora is awaiting my arrival at POP at the desk!! She had a great time with us in AK with all the lizards this past October...we're changing up this time and doing some water parks and DisneyQuest thanks to our upgrade ticket for this time of year! But we HOPE to get to AK again, this time in time for the safari. She will enjoy that! Then she's off to GA to make the trip with mouseaddicts!!
YEAY!!

We just booked our trip for June 8-14 - are there any Crocs available during that time? We had Fauna last year and had a ball with her - lots of pics WAY back in this thread on page 117 - and are sad to know she was Croc-napped! We were hoping to host her again this year.
