**~~***The Official June 2017 Thread***~~**

I totally agree! I am trying to figure out what to do about my Sanaa reservation(s) on June 7. I currently am holding a late lunch, early dinner, and late dinner because of all of the unknowns at this point! We were there the same week last year and the park was open until 11:00 every night. We are hopping from MK because my girls really want to see AK at night. I hope the hours are adjusted before the 60 day FP booking window opens!!!

Agreed! I have Boma reserved for two different nights because I want to see what happens as far as Pandora and Rivers of Light. I am hoping to do the rumored Flame Tree BBQ dining package on our long AK day. But... if there is no ROL.... then we will just head back to the hotel and eat at Boma. If there is... I will keep it for our MK day. If we decide we want to stay for dinner at MK that night... I will just cancel it all together. But that is a day before decision based on how we handle the heat and crowds.

They will likely wait until the month before :(

This made me LOL! I did notice last years hours were until 11 pm, but prior years was much earlier. Wondering if it will stay in line with 11 pm due to the night time safari, even if Pandora/ROL isn't open yet. SO hard to plan with so many unknowns lol
Don't laugh..it was a dire situation!! ;) LOL.

Well, it is looking more and more like Pandora will be open for our trips (have you seen the castmember black out dates for May, as well as heard about the press event taking place May 21?) so I think its a good assumption that we will get fairly late hours. I think we could definitely count on 10pm...but it could go later. However, I agree that it is so difficult to plan a trip these days!

Ohhhh...I forgot about the rumored Flame Tree packages. That would actually work out as we are planning lunch there on our AK day and I was trying to figure out what we would need to FP (if Pandora and ROL are indeed up and running during our trip). Obviously the two Pandora attractions (whenever they are announced) but for the third, it would be ROL or Character Spot. We got the absolute best character interaction at Character Spot last year so I would hate to give that up (and it is always all gone before day of) for ROL. Fingers crossed that the Flame Tree packages materialize!

We are doing 1.5 days at AK- one full day and then a half day on our return travel day. We are doing a Friday (AM EMH) and then a Saturday so I am sure they will both be pretty packed! I hadn't heard about the Media Event and CM blackouts, just the ones on those Florida tickets. I agree... it is looking pretty likely for a late May open. Which brings in so many what ifs! What if they Tier the FP? What if RoL isn't ready? Should we go to Pandora for EMH and rope drop with the herd or FP that stuff for later and do everything else with (probably) no wait. These are the last two days of our trip, so I do feel good about FP availability.... IF these are loaded at 60 days. If not.... we will be in the mad rush when they open.

We only have the one day but I do have 1.5 days at Epcot, as well as 3 full at MK...so I could switch stuff around if I had to. So I'll just have to play it by ear.

The CM blackout info is new as of today I think. The press event I read about on another site but someone (a CM) mentioned it today on the Dis so I think it is fairly new info too. Our day is Thursday. I had briefly thought about moving it to Friday or Saturday but then thought nope...bc as busy as it will be during that week if Pandora opens, the weekend will be even busier with locals. Not sure about the tiering, though the news and rumors guy, Ryan, seems to think no, on that. Scheduling will probably be a nightmare because we won't know for sure until a couple weeks before our trip! And I'm almost certain FP won't be available when our window opens. They will wait to be sure it is all ready. It definitely kinks up the plan.....

We will be there from June 4-June 10th at AoA!! Famiy of four with a 4 year old and an 11 month old.

Plans so far (but always changing):
June 4: arrival, swimming, and walking around world showcase at Epcot
June 5: MK - dinner at BOG
June 6: HS - breakfast at Hollywood and Vine
June 7: HS in morning, MK at night - dinner at crystal palace
June 8: Epcot half day, hotel day
June 9: MK - Dinner at Chef Mickey and the Pirate and Pal Firework Voyage
June 10: Late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, shopping at DS, and then we leave :(

I know, no AK day but it's our least favorite park and I'm sure it will be super crowded with Pandora. So we will do more MK.

That is what I am afraid of!! Probably going to be best to do lunch at Sanaa and book FPs after that.

Agree with this...probably around mid May.

I probably would care less if they didn't make it such a must do to plan ahead. I just hate the planning ahead these days. lol

I'm in GA so both kids and teachers are out before Memorial Day. As a teacher, I work til the Friday before, so I basically have a week to get my life together before we leave for Disney......lol.
I'm a teacher in NC. My last day is June 14th. We are leaving the 17th. I won't have anytime to get my stuff together!

I thought I posted my dates, but don't see them added. We are staying at Pop June 18-24. I can't wait!

So today I was going through my dining reservations and got rid of a few. Namely, Crystal Palace at 8 am. I'm sad to not be eating breakfast there but honestly I don't want to be behind the pack. I also adjusted a few others to clear a day in case Pandora opens up. My plan was to do an EMH morning at Magic Kingdom and then take the express bus to Animal Kingdom for the evening but I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. I had a reservation for Be Our Guest that I moved so now no reservations that day. We can always go to Yak & Yeti with minimal wait or visit Disney Springs if the parks are too chaotic.

So now here's my rough guesstimate:

May 29: Early AM arrival, Check in Wilderness Lodge, go to Epcot for last day of Flower and Garden, Via Napoli 5:30 pm, grab
May 30: Rope Drop Magic Kingdom, Be Our Guest lunch, 'Ohana dinner, tbd on whether we return to Magic Kingdom or chill at the pool
May 31: Epcot, Garden Grill 8:05 am, then chill at Wilderness Lodge pool from 2-5 or 6, then head to Magic Kingdom for wishes and EMH at night
June 1: Sleep in (yeah right), chill at the pool AM, if awake early Rope Drop Magic Kingdom, Hollywood studios PM, Lunch at Sci-Fi, Star Wars Dessert Party
June 2: (No Pandora) EMH morning at Magic Kingdom, Quick Service Lunch, then hop to Animal Kingdom, Yak & Yeti PM
June 2: (Pandora) Rope Drop Animal Kingdom, Yak & Yeti express bus to Magic Kingdom PM
June 3: Rope Drop Hollywood Studios, Jedi Training, Fantasmic Lunch Mama Melrose, if Pandora, just express bus to Animal Kingdom after Jedi Training
June 4: Rope Drop Animal Kingdom, QS Lunch (Flame Tree or Pizzafari) Express bus to Magic Kingdom, dinner Hoop de Doo at 6:15
June 5: Breakfast Whispering Canyon and switch to Royal Pacific or Portofino.

So now I just have to wait a month and a half to do fastpasses!

We arrive at WL on 6/3 but we don't have any overlap on parks.

Booked our flights, yay! Now all we have left is scheduling FPs, but my partner in crime isn't ready to start thinking about those yet. Fair enough; it's still a few weeks away and when I spend too much time fiddling with my plans I get Disney overload and need a break anyway!

There is no such thing as Disney overload lol

I hit a point before every single trip where I just don't give a damn anymore; I'm tired of talking about the trip, I don't want to plan anything, I ignore the packing lists...all of it. Complete and utter planning fatigue. It lasts about two weeks or so? Maybe? It's like I get overexcited and the Disney part of my brain needs to shut down and cool off for a while.

I'm sorry to hear that. After a break, do you feel recharged to make sure everything is planned? Asking in case this happens to me
