***The Official June 2016 Thread***

Just sent email to owner of the condo we rented in 2013 asking for quote! Think my sister has decided not to go, I'm going to plan as if she isn't, change a few things if she does. I've almost decided on Friday, June 17th - Saturday, July 2 so we can be back for family 4th of July celebration. I'm going to work on 2 different agendas just in case our DS and his bride (by then) decide to join us. Pretty sure they won't the entire time since he probably won't want to use that much vacation time at once.

Count me in! Last time we went I was three months pregnant and we were there to celebrate my oldest son's third birthday, back in 2012. It was in November, so all the beautiful Christmas decorations were up. Now were going for my daughters third birthday, as well. We'll be there from June 2-9. Aiming to stay at art of animation in a little mermaid room. I think I'm more excited than everyone :rotfl2:

I know that I am more excited than everyone else around my house.

the one in the red would be me and the ones in the back is the rest of my family. :lmao:

I booked our trip for June 10-18 a couple of weeks ago. We'll be celebrating my wife's graduation from the RN program! Looking forward to another stay at POFQ and of course SWW at DHS!!

Yes! This will be our first time at SWW. I like SW, but DH and DS are huge fans, so I'm most excited about getting to see them experience it. I'm trying to decide if doing any of the extras they offer during the weekends would be worth it. Are you planning for any?

We did the Feel the Force premium package last year. Unfortunately, the parade was canceled due to a thunderstorm, but the dessert party and fireworks made it totally worth it. We'll definitely do that again. Also, we're planning to do the character breakfast at the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater. We haven't done it before and I've heard some great reviews about it.

The sci fi dine breakfast was great. The food was fantastic and the characters were great. My 17 y/o DD still talks about it two years later.

We're definitely thinking about doing the premium package. We had been thinking about doing the Jedi Mickey meal in order to get the Fantasmic package, but I hadn't really considered the sci-fi breakfast. Hm...

Just my opinion but, we did the Jedi Mickey meal in may and thought the Sci fi breakfast was the better deal. The food at the breakfast is not your standard breakfast food and the characters are ones you will not get to see unless you want to stand in long lines. The Fantasmic show plays every night no need to do the package.

We went to the late Fantasmic show after the fireworks. It was fairly crowded, but we had no issues getting a seat.

Late getting in on this thread, but we are booked June 8-18. Celebrating my son's 9th birthday and hoping the dates for Star Wars weekends stay the same. We are also planning to do Legoland, Sea World and visit Winter & Hope in Clearwater.

so here's a SWW question - I was hoping to go to WDW this June but it would have been June 6-11 and I did have a Star Wars b'fast booked - BUT looking at the dates for SWWs this year vs. the dates we'll be there next summer, I'm thinking that the Star Wars Characters b'fasts will have stopped during the week of June 13-17th while we're there...

Did I explain that clearly?? I know they have the Star Wars character breakfasts during both the week and weekends of the month of SWWs, but it stops during the week after the last SSW...and I believe the last SWW next year should be the June 11-13th..so if we're not able to do a b'fast Sunday (6/12) might they have the breakfasts 6/13-6/17??

:crazy2:

DH is trying to throw a monkey wrench in my plans. He isn't big on Disney or any amusement parks so he is hinting at possible Grand Canyon vacation! I'm torn whether to try to turn him to my plans or agree to switch to his on the condition that we do DW in 2017. He has me totally confused!

Go to the grand canyon as long as you get DW in writing.

So who else is happy about the new additions coming in 2016. New restaurants, new Soarin. :)

I've very excited about the new additions. I'm gonna try to get a breakfast ADR at BOG. The Star Wars Imperial Meet and Greet for Disney Visa Cardmembers should be great. New Star Tour adventure. Soarin. There will surely be some cool new stuff for SWW with Episode VII out. The only thing that has me bummed is BTMR will be closed :worried:

I am hopping in! June 11-18 hopefully! As soon as the niece and nephew graduate high school we are headed to Disney to celebrate!
