Single Digit Dance!

Ordered a last minute splurge from Etsy today for DD3 for our "Frozen" day at DHS! Ordered her an Elsa tutu and then a personalized Elsa t-shirt! Can't wait for her to wear them!!!

Fun!! I ordered a few fun things from Etsy too! Did you check shipping? A few of mine took a long time and one was sent without the Minnie ears (so it's just a plain bag) and it can't be corrected in time for our trip Just wanted to be sure you'll get everything in time!!! We are close to single digits too!!

Random question...does anyone know where to sign my kids up for the Jedi Training Camp at DHS? They want to do it on our first DHS day, the 21st, and the plan is to go sign up at rope drop so we have a choice of the time and can work around our lunch ADR. Then we have a FP+ for star tours.

It is next to American Idol and the statue park behind Indiana Jones. Just beware that I was in line at 9:03 and the earliest time I was given was 11:50 and you have to arrive 30 minutes prior for training and the child(ren) have to be with you when signing up.

Can't believe my group leaves Saturday for Disney. We are all so excited. Our Girl Scout troop is finally taking the big trip we've been planning for 6 six years!!!! Thursday the packing will begin! Today, we are off to Six Flags.

YAY!!!!! That's so awesome I can't believe how close we are to our trips


I'm really struggling because once we return from our trip I only have a week and a few days until we have to go back to school. I teach in a Title I school, and our district has this new program which requires some of the Title I schools to go extra days. I'm so excited for our trip to be here, but I struggle with not wanting it to come because it will mean my summer is almost over!

Update on us.

We are having a great visit with family and friends. The retirement party my MIL and SIL was simply AMAZING. They did a wonderful job.


We went fishing yesterday and my son caught a stingray. I grew up here in FL. and I have never saw someone catch a stingray before. Awesome. the people beside us caught a little shark and let my kids come see it, he held it so we could touch it. AWESOME. My kids are LOVING Florida.

I can't wait to hear all about your vacation stories. Hope we all get some PIXIE DUST.

Our magical vacation is from the 19th to the 26th. We'll be at the Port Orleans French Quarter. We're celebrating my graduation from high school! We are almost to the single digit time!!!

Checked into AOA yesterday around 10:00am and had booked a LM room. But received a big sprinkle of pixie dust to a Cars suite!!!! It's our first upgrade of any kind! Feeling so blessed. So far magic bands are working fine.

I thought I had posted this already but I guess i didn't. The morning of July 3rd I was looking at what ADR I could get, if anything. Well I thought it was a glitch in the system but I got California Grill to watch the fireworks that same night!!! I couldn't believe it! It was a 7:00 ressie which was perfect for the 9:00 fireworks. The food was amazing and so were the fireworks! We've seen the 4th ones before but never from Cali Grill.
We have been having a great time! It's not all Disney everyday but that's ok with me. We were just here in April. We are painting the living room in my condo. in 2 weeks so I need to start taping around the molding. I'm not looking forward to that at all!!
DS and I are hanging by the pool today. Hopefully the thunderstorms will hold off.
DS wants to go to the beach tomorrow, but the percentage of rain will still be high. We'll see what happens.
I have been really bummed since I haven't been able to get FP for the 7DMT. We rode it once last week. I made that FP+ the month before. I'm not an uber planner like I used to be. We come down so often that it doesn't really matter, but my DS wants to ride the Mine Train when we go and we're not standing in an hour standby line.
Well I went on this morning and got a FP+ for him for Friday (I just clicked his name bc I was finding I could get just one but not for 4 of us. But then i was able to modify and copy it to all of us!!!

All of it is free, but there's a premium package you can get which gives you the free stuff plus;

- a reserved viewing area and ice cream during the royal welcome and processional
-you get to choose your time for the sing along and get a front and center reserved seat
- you get a reserved viewing area and a dessert party during the fireworks

Also wanted to add one more note to my above post...

The ice skating costs $10 and you get rental skates and a required helmet.
