So many people are off to start the magic! Safe travels to everybody!

This morning was a rough one with a very disrespectful little five year old at our house. Then I got to the office and was yelled at so badly I was reduced to tears in front of people who work under me. Talk about humiliating! However, I'm choosing to look at the bright side. We have a long weekend coming up and I GOT AN INVITATION FOR BOG FP+!!! (I even printed the confirmation to cover myself should we have any problems the day of.)

I don't know how I did this but I got a Cali Grill ADR for tonight's fireworks!!!! I just got it this morning. How lucky is that??
Now as for FP+ for mine train- I can't get FP for my whole family (4 ppl) for any day this month!!! UGH! How does that happen?!
I can do us individually but they're all at different times. I am so pissed!!!
We ride it Mon. Night. I made those FP+ a month ago.

Work days like that are the worst! Mean people stink!!! Yay for BOG! I'm so glad you got to have that glimmer of light in your stinky day!

Happy and safe travels to all who are leaving today. If you're traveling down the east coast, be careful! I live in Charleston, SC, which is right along the edge of the storm and its really not that bad here, so take what you hear on the news with a grain of salt, but do use caution and be safe!!

I have a strange request for you. My check-in date for WDW is July 20th, but we leave home on July 18th to drive down. We don't use internet on vacation, other than looking for a place to eat wherever we are, so I don't check the DIS boards. It's a thing we have...no news, no social media, just a complete escape from reality!

So, my request is...could I be included in the Bon voyage for people leaving July 18th so I see it the day before we actually leave the house?

So i checked in at AKL today in a standard room. No view this afternoon of animals (I assumed I didn't get the pixie dust of a partial savannah view standard), so I took a nap. Well, I just woke up, There are 7 zebras and 4 other animals right outside my balcony! It is so amazing!

Had an amazing first day!!!! Love our Royal Room at POR!!!! We got all are requests and got upgraded to a river view!!!! Love it!!!! Went to Downtown Disney and bought my Mickey ears!!!!! I'll be wearing them to MK tomorrow. Yea!!!
