Anyone else planning to eat their way through WDW? I feel like in trying to be so good before we go but that is getting tossed at the window while we are away!!! Mickey ice cream sandwiches here I come!!

We definitely have a few favorites that we will enjoy and not worry about at all!

That reminded me!! We were gifted a free strawberry shortcake from Storybook Treats (or whatever its called, its had a few different names!) We were just walking by and they came up and said Cinderella saw us from her castle and wanted us to have it. It was so awesome! We don't have kids, so sometimes I feel sad at Disney and it sometimes seems like the magic is preserved for the little ones. This made me a true believer that the magic is there for ALL of us, and it was the BEST strawberry shortcake we've ever had! My sister just sent me a pic of it last week and said ' we HAVE to get this this year!'

For those of you that have never been in July, just wanted to let you know how hot it was the past couple of nights. You usually think once the sun goes down it'll be much cooler.....NOT. well not always. It was 88 degrees at 9:30 Sunday night ( it was a little miserable ) Last night it was 83 when we were driving home around 10:30. So make sure you're still drinking all those fluids

So I decorated my magic bands today after they arrived. We wanted to do some things but not too much. Boys wanted very little. So, in order to keep them semi-themed as a family, here is what I did.

This is the whole lot of them!

Welcome to the south, baby! My mom dog sat for us last summer while we went to WDW (she lives in PA and we live in SC.) She always heard me talk about how hot it was here and she'd always say 'yeah, it's really hot here too,' and I'd giggle to myself After two days here in June she was exasperated at how hot it was. You can't even walk to the mailbox without sweating! Haha!

That's so funny!!! DH and I were more worried about getting an ADR than riding any rides last night LOL!!! There's just something about the food at WDW. So many choices.
There are so many things I wanna still try, even after coming so many times. It never gets old. I think DS13 and I are going to a park tomorrow just to hang out and have lunch and snacks.
We are hanging by the pool today and relaxing. I'm even cooking dinner tonight.

This is the whole lot of them! This is mine. It reminds me of Sleeping Beauty, even with it being more purple than pink. It started out as a pink band. This is DS's. He wanted a red band so we found red, white, and blue stars polish. He also wanted the orange on the Mickey head! This is DH's. He wanted green band and not much else. DD thought it would be funny to give him a purple (girly) color on his Mickey head! This is DD's. She did this herself. She did blue sparkle polish. We all have silver lining pen to surround/outline our Mickey heads. Again, all of our bands together.

Those came out cute. My DS13 just bought one of the sleeve covers you can slide over them last night. It got a pirates one.

The visit with family has gone well. My mom had a nerve block done today on her back, now we are just resting at her place.
