Thank you all so much for the well wishes! It has been a busy day with work, picking up a child at camp and doing laundry and finishing packing. My husband just took our dog to visit the grandparents while we are gone and I've printed the boarding passes. I'm checking for last minute news before we leave and was happy to see the monorail will be running extended hours July 3-5!

Hope to see some July friends in the parks or at the Poly! Wishing everyone a great trip!

I am so sorry you had a bad week. Want you know, this week has been stressful here too. Found out my is having surgery on Tuesday, Wednesday we had a tornado. I am like OMG.

Since it's a little too early to pack, I checked a few other things off the list this week:

I got my new beach towel in the mail I know it's a little pricey for a beach towel, but it is SO PERFECT for WDW and it's HUGE (which is great for this TALL family!) http://www.castleandthings.com.au/home.php?cat=283

I ordered our surprise from Disney Florist
I ordered our anniversary cake
We started working on finalizing our Garden Grocer order (first time doing this, but since have a 2 BR villa with a full kitchen we thought it would be a great idea!)
MAN! The cost before the trip can sometimes be as much as the trip!

We were down there for 4th of July fireworks at the MK last year, and they were truly amazing.

It was definitely the most crowded I'd ever seen the MK. The fireworks completely surround you. Very cool.

BWV from July 27-August 3 Added one night at POP, August 3-4, in order to have a non park day at DTD and take it easy before the flight home.

My husband always teases me because I try to pull this every time we go. Can we just add one more night?? Ha!! A few times we have added at POP and its been so fun! Enjoy

Thanks. My husband deployed a few days ago and with that of course in the first week electricity stops working, his email (our only communication) isn't working correctly, toilets overflow, car door starts acting up, dog gets sick, all the large scary bugs have suddenly appeared for me to kill alone, if it can break I have broken it, frogs got into my house for me to play hide and seek with (love the south!)... you name it! Very little things in the long run of life but when piled all together it just stinks.

So sorry to hear about the surgery and the tornado. I hope everyone remains as healthy and safe as possible, and that there is a quick recovery!

Oh, and that we get to Disney ASAP!

Don't be! We all have our unique issues. I'll take a gone and healthy husband over surgery any day. I just need to stop being a big mopey-pants over here haha.

Plus, I like that beach towel. Also as a 5'11 lady I understand the struggle of the properly sized beach towel LOL!

At least we all have Mickey to look forward to! Love that guy!

My first couple of days of summer vacation have been great. The boys slept in yesterday morning which meant I got some very needed extra sleep too! Last night we went to dinner to celebrate my niece's graduation from elementary school and that was very nice. Today I did a lot of house cleaning and I worked out. Right now the boys and I are about to watch "Rocky Balboa". I've shown them all the other Rocky movies the past few weeks and they love them. So we are finishing the series today. I'm a huge fan of all the Rocky movies. DH even gave me tickets to see Rocky the musical on broadway. We go July 6th and I'm so excited! I'm loving this time of year as always!

Just made it to our stopping spot for the night. Eating at Cracker Barrel then to hotel to sleep. Will finish the drive tomorrow.
We'll be riding the 7DMT on Monday!! Can't wait.
