Well I was up half the night, but I did get all of the FP+ reservations I wanted for our late July trip! We are celebrating DD's 9th bday, and she will be so excited!

Not Disney breaking news, but, DH told me this morning that if I wanted to take DD to the American Girl store I could. And for me to pick up something for DS at the Lego store as well. My third stop at this mall will be the DISNEY STORE. I think I may need to check his temp. LOL

Must be something with husbands this weekend. still surprised mine pulled off our mini trip. And we were able to get DD a new Elsa dress!

Our plans just completely changed! DH informed us this am that he booked castaway bay for tonight with cedar point tickets for tomorrow!

He would be happy with anything, really. But, he is liking the Lego Movie sets a lot.
I got him a set for the movie series and DD got a new outfit for Isabelle. I almost bought her an outfit for herself. In the end, Put it back. Disney is coming! I bought myself some teas from Teavana. Now we are home resting. It was a cray drive down to Denver today.

I have done all that stuff. Now I am just waiting to pack.

How are you guys passing the time? Now that the weather is a lot nicer outside we are keeping busy doing yard work, Kids running around with their friends. I think it will pick up once school is out.

Finishing out the school year it's what's keeping me busy for now. We have 9 days left After that, my mom, sisters and I are headed to the beach for a week in June, and I'm attending a teaching conference for a few days in June. Otherwise, the wait until mid-July is going to be tough. It's sort of a double edged sword because I want the trip to come quickly, but I go back to school a week after we return, so the trip coming up also means going back to school

We can't pack until the day before we leave because this entire trip is a surprise for our kids..if they saw all the disney themed clothes I ordered from etsy they would know right away

I've been doing the same thing!!! I found a great shop that does some really good quality adult tanks and I love them all I also found a great shop that does really cute tote bags, so I ordered a couple that coordinate with my luggage

They're good quality tanks, not the cheapy $2 Old Navy ones that many shops use. I haven't tried washing them yet, but they turned out great! I bought these two:

It is!!! But we saved almost $2000 by not going until it was Deluxe Value Season, so I guess I can deal with it

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a nice Memorial Day weekend. We went to friends in New Jersey yesterday for a BBQ at their beautiful new house. It rained most of the day but we were outside while the sun was peaking out. We still had a great time, and the kids got to play with each other and have fun. We didn't hit any traffic going there or coming home, which is unusual from brooklyn to New Jersey. So of course we were pleasantly surprised at that one, but we didn't want to speak too soon so we waited until we were home to say it was amazing not to hit traffic!

Today we did some laundry, I went food shopping and on the way I stopped by my parents' house to visit them and my baby nephew who is almost 5 months old already. My parents and Eric & I sent my sister and brother-in-law on a brunch cruise from manhattan, for their first anniversary back in March. We told them to pick any weekend day they want and they chose today. The weather is gorgeous and I can't wait to hear what a great time they had! I went for a manicure and to get my eyebrows waxed today as well. The boys are having a friend over this afternoon and he's going to have dinner with us. DS9 has been friends with him ever since they were two years old in pre-school together. And DS7 has gotten close to him as well, so they're very excited to see him today. Tomorrow we have the BBQ at my parents' house and the weather is supposed to be nice and warm and beautiful again.

We have 14 teaching days left in high school before Regents exams. Our last official day of work will be June 26th. I love this part of the school year...looking forward to summer and having the whole summer ahead of us, to sleep in (anything 7am or later I consider sleeping in!), to spend lots of time with the boys, relax and of course go on vacation.

Before this past week, my lower back was acting up pretty badly. I was having these terrible muscle spasms. Not enough to really say the my back went out, but enough to hurt and be a real nuisance. It was so frustrating. I was fine in the morning getting out of bed, fine when I was standing or moving around, fine when doing cardio exercise, but once I sat down, even for fifteen minutes, it would lock up and start hurting. So last Saturday I finally went back to the doctor and he put me on flexeril, three times a day for a week. I am pleased to say my back is sooooo much better now and I really hope it stays this way.

Agreed!! I get up at 5:15am for school each day, so I really look forward to the summer. Months of getting up that early (you can't really "break it" on the weekends) really takes a toll.

Oh, and so awesome about your back! Hopefully things stay feeling great!
