That's the age my DD was when we first brought her. It was such a wonderful trip watching her different reactions with meeting the characters and seeing the castle :) have fun!

Good luck on getting the fp that you want - let us know how it goes - my 60 day is next week and I am a wreck about it!

I had no problems last night and even was changing times around throughout today. I was nervous but everything went smoothly. You'll do fine!

I also had no problems getting what I wanted 60 days out and have been in to change things around in the past few weeks. If you are after Anna & Elsa and 7DMT get those first and then go back and do the rest. :wizard:

2 months til check in. Here is where we are:
Waiting on tickets to come in. Whoot.
Have our count down going. Have I posted a picture here of it?
Waiting for june so I can pull out the suitcases.
Have ours days planned with times I would like our fast passes to be at.

SECRET........ we are taking a day to go visit WINTER THE DOLPHIN.

Did anyone see the MERS report in Orlando this morning? I am going to go get vitamins and clorox wipes to pack!

I am hoping for A &E on the 21st (which is only day two of our trip) if not we could try for after non of the 24th because we have wishes dessert reservations that night and were trying to relax in the am ..... We don't fly out til late on Friday night so I could do them first thing Friday am (the 25th) too - just nervous that I am trying to book them so early in the trip - wish it would just hurry up and get here! Got my DD an elsa shirt to wear or Olaf depending on her mood! Lol

I was able to get the first time slot on our first park day (we arrive on 7/12 and first park day is 7/13) so there is hope :)

The MERS report scared me, especially because I have asthma. Back in 2009 when there was a pandemic I caught the swine flu and it was so miserable. It affected my asthma for several weeks afterward, and my asthma is usually under excellent control. But when I catch anything respiratory, even a cold, it knocks the asthma out of whack for a little while and I need my inhaler daily for weeks.

Right before our last WDW trip, there was a stomach virus going around, mainly with guests that had done one if the special safari tours at AK. DS7 got sick one night of the trip but was fine the next day. But then a few days later when we left, he just kept getting sick over and over again on the drive back home...to NY. We were going to stay two nights in Williamsburg, VA but we cut the trip short because I was so worried about him. He was keeping down only a couple of teaspoons of liquid at a time, or one small lollipop. Even after waiting a whole day he couldn't keep down a couple of bites of toast. I was in touch with the doctor a couple of times on that trip and we decided to just go home. There were no signs of dehydration but on more than one occasion I was worried. When I brought him to the doctor the next day he told me we did a great job keeping him hydrated. It was crazy, the whole thing, and I certainly hope nothing like that ever happens again. I will be armed and ready for this trip with the usual Clorox wipes (no one is allowed to touch anything in a hotel room or a cabin on a cruise ship until I clean!), Clorox bleach spray in case anyone gets norovirus (ONLY bleach kills that one and I have the hospital grade cleaner I bought on amazon), paper towels and plenty of plastic bags.

Awe man. I would have been freaked out with worry. I din't think about buying some spray too. We should start a "hide the bleach in the room" thing among us DIS'ers. lol

I did freak out, completely...in my head. I don't like the kids to see me freak out if I can help it because I don't want them to be frightened. When they throw up, it's the one thing I can't deal with. Anything else doesn't bother me. Just recently, DS9 had a couple of nose bleeds from his terrible spring allergies, and that didn't freak me out. But when they throw up, DH has to handle them and I just clean the bathroom afterwards like a maniac, armed with a face mask, disposable gloves and bleach. I was mainly worried though about him getting dehydrated when he was sick. When I gave him the two teaspoons of liquid, I gave him Gatorade (recommended by the doctor as well) to replace electrolytes, instead of just water. That was the sickest he's ever been, and he's had some nasty stomach viruses. Bless him though, he handled it great and didn't cry or anything. He was so calm, and he always is when he's sick. Much better than I am with a stomach bug! Thankfully none of us caught it that time. He also gets carsick so the doctor said that made it worse. Actually we found out about car sickness a few months later because when he was playing on his Nintendo ds (first time since the WDW trip), in the car on the way to a friend, he got sick. So at his next checkup the doctor concluded that he had a virus on the trip, as well as carsickness exacerbating it. No more movies in the car and no video games for him in the car either. He's been fine ever since.

Urgh. Tomorrow is the day we can book are FP. and I have no tickets. I am kicking myself for not calling sooner to see if the base has them on hand. They have to be mailed. STUPID STUPID ME.

All the good stuff will be gone

Hang in there...I have read that even the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train still has FP+ available for a week after it opens! You might get some good attractions still. Don't beat yourself up over this.

Ok, question on tickets. When we go in July we are using our AP but I have some old NE tickets with days left. I was wondering if I can bring them along to guest services and have them upgraded to RFID cards even though we won't be using them for this trip. But we will use them next year when our AP expires and I'd like them in the system so I can do FP+ ahead of time.

It seems like an easy yes to me, but unsure...

No I don't think it's as bad as it's being made out. Not only have a changed and rearranged FP's over the last 26 days, but with the update to June park hours this week, MK is open late on our arrival night. As we have a late check in we weren't planning a park. But about an hour ago I decided to book FP and we can cancel if we don't need them. Got a choice of everything except Anna and Elsa. I booked 7DMT, BTMR and Space Mountain and had choices of times for all of them throughout the day. I am 34 days out. I think you will be fine.

Aw :( :( Please don't feel upset! It's Disney! Everything will work out, and I don't want you to feel sad about something so fun! I agree with other posters! I have also read about people being able to get everything even 30 days out!

Yes just take them to any guest services location at any of the parks or DTD
