We just got the discount and saved $695. With purchasing our new house, the savings was wonderful news. We have been so busy packing that I have neglected our Disney plans a little. I am living vicariously through our good friends who are in Disney right now and telling us everything they are doing. So glad they like it. They have never been and are loving it.

After 28 years of working for the same BOSS!!!! It hit me today.

I NOW understand my Bosses definition of "TEAMWORK"

A whole lot of people doing what I say.....................

I get it...... I get it........I can accept and move on!!!!!!!!!

Update to my trip plans, I booked our first night at AofA Family Suites (Cars) and 5-day MYW tickets with WPF&M for the 6 of us. We have never stayed on-site before, but with the current FP+ situation, I think it's worth it. We will be getting the magic bands and I'm crossing my fingers that the system will allow us to make our FP+ selections 60 days before our trip for all 5 days.

So here's our lodging plans so far:

7/8: AofA Family Suite
7/9 - 7/11: offsite Park Soleil
7/12 - 7/18: offsite house rental (not yet booked... any suggestions?)

Well, we were waiting for a discount and we finally got it! My wife booked our trip today using the Disney Visa Rewards 20% discount for Pop Century. We were hoping to switch it up and stay at AOA-LM, but POP is just fine... WE'RE GOING BACK TO WALT DISNEY WORLD!

My wife had some fun with it first. When I got home from work, she said she called to book and was told the resort was booked and they weren't allowing any more people to book with the discount. I'm so gullible that I believed her! She let me believe that for only 10 minutes then said we're booked and headed there for July 8-14!

We went last year but didn't use MM+/FP+ so I'm excited to give it a try!

I wish this is how it worked where I was at. I have learned one thing about being a math teacher.... we are all very set in our ways and don't like to be told what to do. We like things set, and we hate change or last minute duties. My definition of teamwork is.... leave me the heck alone!

We are doing the YES program My girls are all 16-17 yrs old and have been saving their cookie $ for 6yrs so we can go to Disney World!!!! It's finally happening. Our last hoorah before they all start their senior yr in high school.

We're all very excited. I've been to Disney many times, but some of my girls have never been and it just makes the whole trip so much more exciting. They wanted to get matching shirts that read, "I'm only still in Girl Scouts for the trip to Disney!" Hehe. They ended up with princess shirts.
