Thanks for the information. You sound like a pro with this. We will do exactly as you recommended. We moved our one of FP+ back yesterday on arrival day to make sure we have time to get APs and TIW.

It doesn't matter which set of MB's you use. Both sets should work. All of the data is stored in a huge databank somewhere and there is a chip in the MagicBands that access the data. If you are buying annual passes then you can just get those and the TIW card at guest services at the International Gateway. Just walk into the park and walk right back out again. The park entrance and guest services are just a few feet away from each other.

What is a MB slider clip?

Can somebody who is there now or in the next few days let us know if the front desks are offering a 2014 MB slider clip like the 2013 one? I'm mostly interested in using it to keep the MB's from accidentally falling off than for decoration, I'm just curious if they are still giving them away. We're staying at POP, so I'm really wondering about there in particular, but I'd be interested to hear if they are offering them at any resort.

DH is going to Orlando with friends for a golf weekend 1/23-1/26 so I am going too and doing Disney while they golf. We just booked last night. Staying at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista. (We did this last January as well but stayed at the Hilton.) So excited! We usually go every October and stay at one of Disney's moderate resorts and were just there this past October but too much Disney is never enough! As of now, I plan to do Epcot one day and MK another. Sunday will probably be a Downtown Disney shopping day before heading to the airport. Now all I have to do is hope it doesn't snow so our flight out of Reagan doesn't get delayed or cancelled.

So excited. DD 21 and me, 58 ~ 8 wonderful days at WDW ! We are So Cal AP holders for Disneyland....and have not been to WDW in 15 years !!!

We have our magic bands; have ADR for Table Service almost every day; have DDP ready to go; Have fast passes set for each day; have coordinated times, and read menus for CS; Have made lists of our "Must do's" and really want to do's.

Hearing that New Year's Eve was a horrible crush at the parks, hoping that everyone has gone home, and things have calmed down for our stay.

Any last minute tips are appreciated !!!

It's so exciting with so many of you heading down soon! I wish we were going soon but there is lots of snow to clear today and lots of flights around here canceled so hopefully Mother Nature can get this out of her system by the 25th! Although I am very glad we got trip insurance!!

Hopefully the rain goes away down in FL... I can't believe how much it is raining! That's unusual for January isn't it?

We are heading down on the 25th also! Glad we did not decide to fly out today - we are in the midst of a blizzard with projected snow totals of up to 30 inches..but also got trip insurance for "just in case"... but sure hope we do not have to use it!.

So excited we leave in 6 days!! First trip for my 15 month old & 2.5 year old. First half marathon for my dad & I. And DH is running Goofy. We moved and had a million other things happen so I'm still making ADRs. I have 2 devices up refreshing for BOG & Le Cellier trying to get them for dinner one of the nights. Fingers crossed it'll work. Do you have any favorite backups I should check out?

Leaving 3 weeks from today on the Auto Train - heading down for 1/25 - 2/2 at BCV - can't wait - started my "to do before I go list" - packing, car stuff, shopping, etc! Very excited - all FP+ and ADRs made as soon as I could make them - Magic Bands received a week ago so just need to get my work done so I can leave!

We are going 1/25-2/1... so glad its finally January! I cannot wait. We are staying at WL. My all time favorite resort and this is the 1st time we are staying there.

Feel free to make fun of me but I packed DD last night. But we were kid free and this is a surprise trip so I wanted to take advantage.

It just makes it feel that much closer!

I've read that the South American groups visit disney world in January and that the crowds can be quite large. Does anyone know if this makes the crowd level larger than normal in January? I'm going to WDW jan 28- feb6

went in 2012.....there were a lot of tour groups there. Just don't get in any lines with them. They move as groups, so are kind of slow.
It didn't hamper us any. They were are Universal too

My dad and I are going January 12th - 17th and will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge!
