Yeah other than staying at a value resort. But if the spd comes on we would have to pay the difference between quick service and regular dining plan so it comes out close to the same.

You just call Disney and tell them you want to book the visa discount. You choose either R/O or stay play dine. I called at 9:00 this morning got right thru and booked PO riverside for January 7-14!!

Called to book the Visa deal and ended up having a free dining Pin. Booked Caribbean Beach with Free Plus Dining. Ended up being cheaper than the Visa deal. January 26th can't get here fast enough. This will also be the first time we have stayed anywhere except the All Stars.

Staying at POFQ 1/20-1/14, Visa RO discount is like nothing, likely cause of the marathon. So now I'm looking to see if S/P/D is worth it. Wasn't planning on getting the dining plan, just too much food. But with S/P/D it appears I could save $200 over the course of the trip. Good enough I guess.

I am going 1/2-1/8. In order to get the discount, would I need to do a split stay? Book one room from 1/2-1/4 and then a different one from 1/5-1/8? Any chance they'll extend the discount through the 2nd? Trying to figure out if it is worth it...
