So now that the room's booked (S/P/D) when do we get to start making our FP+ and customizing our bands? Too much waiting! January come already!!!

It looks like we won't be able to for a while... I check MDE multiple times daily just to see if it changes to "Customize Magic Bands"... Can't wait for the day it changes! But I don't think we will see that for at least a month or two... waiting is so hard!

Me too... It's an addiction!!! LOL. I want a pink band, I don't want to get stuck with yucky grey. Haha

I got to help my (newbie) friend do this last week for her end of November trip. I must say, it was really fun picking the fast passes, seeing the combos recommended and then adjusting as desired. And here I am, likely staying at Dolphin (unless I can get a 35% off YC standard room on Tuesday) which would mean I most likely won't be able to participate in FP+ at all.

We are going in January for a work conference for DH. They put him up at the Dolphin, so that is where we will stay and he will take a few extra days with us.
unfortunately I have not been up on the FP+ situation. I posted on another board and it was indicated no one knows when it will be fully implemented. Based on what I read on touring plans about fp+ I hate it already and am hopeful it will not be in use until 2015 when we have no trips planned!!! lol
So has there been a discussion here about thought on if we will be using it for Jan. The idea of getting a FP for an attraction I never needed one for before is blowing my mind lol

FP+ will most probably be rolled out to all on-site guests by January, and maybe also to off-site guests. I am not sure where Swolphin guests would be categorized vis-a-vis FP+. For know, FP- is still available, but by January who knows.

FYI no one is forcing you to use FP+ if you don't want to.

I actually did the Happy Dance(three times) so I had to post - yesterday I got the Disney Visa discount for our resort and saved $290!!!!! So for our 2-person, 8-day, 5-park day trip at ASMu, I've been calculating that by the time we depart, we'll have save $1,782 in various rewards and discounts!!!! That's enough for another trip!!!!! Nearly $400 of that is due to info I received from the DISboards! YAYYYYYY!!!!!!

My travel agent was able to get us the S/P/D promotion which saved us $802.50 and my group of 12 a total of $2,832.50 Staying at CBR, arriving on Jan 17th and departing on Jan 25th.

2 days and I will be in double digits. Can't wait to do the double digit dance!!!

Also stalking my MDE to see if I get a Magic Bands update.

Hey everybody, I'm fresh back from a weekend trip to Disney. My first visit back in 10 years and it just wasn't long enough.

Right now I'm booked for a solo trip Jan 25 - 31 2014 at Pop Century standard room. However, depending on his parents it may be a surprise dude trip with my nephew who would have just turned 14 and we'll be there for my birthday where I'll be turning 42 years young.

Only 107 days left

So excited - just booked our weeklong stay last night

We took my kids for their first (and DH's first) trip last summer, and this will be all of our first trips staying onsite and doing it up Dis Restaurant style. We did do Akershus last time, but other than that cooked at the house or quick service or sandwiches. Looking forward to the extra magic this time

My kids are aware we're planning a trip "next year" and that they'll probably miss some school, but I haven't broken down the "Days to Disney" board... yet
