**The Official January 2012 WDW Thread**

One more sleep!! Leaving for airport at 3:45 AM tomorrow :) Less than 24 hours until I'm finally back in WDW!! :yay:

Their mailing schedule over the holidays seems to be a bit wonky. I got my package documents but still no Magical Express info. My mom, who booked and paid off the trip on the exact same days (same phone call actually, since I handled all her travel arrangements), has gotten her ME info but not the package booklet. :confused3

We arrive the 22nd and we just received our Mickey Mail last week. It was 1 package with the ME stuff in it as well as our package documents. I had called a few times though becasue I was stressed about not having received it.

Safe and happy travels to all those leaving today or tomorrow! Wishes and hopes for others waiting on Mickey mail to get it right away. Happy trip report writing to those who just returned. Two weeks from right now, we will be in WDW. :goodvibes

Ok, I took the plunge and started putting my clothes into ziploc bags for the trip. Have been checking accuweather for my first 3 days and each day they change temps and forecast a LOT!

As PP were saying the weather is just all over the place. Like one day was high 60/low 41 and the next prediction for the SAME day was high 72/low53. Now there's just a bit of difference there in how I'd pack.

So I'll stick to my basic plan and will just throw in an extra ziploc bag of clothes on 1/18-1/19 to fill in the predicted gaps.

The planner in me just cannot wait that long to pack the rest of the clothes.

Plus I'm getting waaaaaay too excited now...the sooner I pack the more real it'll be for me!!:dance3:

You and me both :goodvibes, usually DH is the procrastinator when it comes to pulling out his outfits to wear, but today I was so surprised he actually did it on his own AND he even packed his suitcase :cool1:...1 down and 3 to go. I am guessing he is getting really excited for our trip to come. I was floored when I found him in our room doing that. I think I will be following close behind him and packing the girls and I in the next day or so....then the cleaning starts :scared1::goodvibes. 7 Days and counting :woohoo:

Lucky you. DH is driving me absolutely crazy with his procrastinating. He hasn't packed a dang thing, hasn't attempted to find or lay anything out, nor has he shopped for his toilitries, snacks, book, etc. We went to Target the other day and I got stuff for DS & I but he said he'll do his own, he had a headache and didn't feel like shopping. Well then why'd you come with me! UGH! I really think he takes pleasure in making me squirm and driving me nuts :)

That's pretty much what I ended up doing too. Stuck to my basic packing plan and then I packed an extra pair of pants, an extra long sleeved and short sleeved tee and an extra pair of shorts for DS and capri's for me. I figure with that I'll be good to deal with the weather. And if I need to do an extra load or two of laundry, so be it...

And the weather predictions are crazy. They're bouncing all over the place from day to day and even website to website. Weather.com has a temp of 73 and rain the Friday & Saturday we first get there, whereas accuweather has sunny and pleasant with a high of 67 those days.

Yes, the weather predictions are definately crazy. I put off packing until today just because of the changing weather forecast. I am also going to stick to the basic packing plan and throwing in a couple of extra zip up hoodies, that way I am covered if it ends up being cooler out. Can just throw them on over my t-shirts. We also plan on doing laundry there so may also being doing an extra load or two.

Eeeeeek!!! We leave tomorrow!!!

I've got SO much packing to do, but today I'm in kind of a funk, like "I can't believe it's finally time to go. What do I need to do?". I've been trying so hard to keep my excitement to a tolerable level up until now that reality is having a hard time settling in.

Is anyone else worried about the rain predicted for Monday (16th)? Part of me wants to rework my schedule and make Monday our rest day; but as soon as I do that, the forecast will change and make Tuesday the rainy day. ARG! What to do? Right now HS is scheduled for Monday.

You're thinking the weather people can predict something a week out when they can't even tell you what will happen tomorrow? :lmao: Sorry, couldn't help it. ;) Why let rain change a thing about your visit? Just go w/ it!

That said, we used to go to Sea World, and every time we did, it rained the WHOLE DAY. Now that just stunk as so much of it is outdoors. So the last time we went, we were silly and decided NOT to plan the day we'd go and just watch the weather eports while we were down there. We did and it worked, until about 1:30pm when it drizzled. :rotfl: It took mother nature all morning to rustle up a storm for us. HA! But by then we were nearly done w/ that park so neener mother nature! :rotfl::rotfl2:
