I was so happy last night. My husband was convinced that David A was going to win but I had faith in DC!! I had a feeling! He's so great and just seems like a great guy! How about his Mom last night? OMG! When he was singing and she was standing there looking up at him....got me! Looks like he comes from a great family! Hope he stays true to his values!

Me too!! Can't wait till his 1st CD comes out!!!! I was so excited when he won last night. Thought it was going to be David A the way the judges talked him up the night before. So happy when then announced David C!!!

David A is VERY talented but his personality needs work. I think David Cook's personality played into his win quite a bit. I can only imagine how David A's father took it! Yikes!

I know, I was worried that I would hear that something happened to him. In the beginning I thought David A would win the whole thing but he could only sing slow songs so he became boring to me. David Cook is great. Hope he has a wonderful and successful career.

I'm sure you know he was working as a bartender here in Tulsa when he auditioned. My DH runs a sports bar, and I keep saying I wish David had been one of HIS bartenders!!!!!!!!!!! (DH does too; it would have been great for business!)

I think it was kind of weird how the radio and TV kept calling him the underdog and how most people thought Archie would win. Were they watching the same show? To me there was no comparison, I don't think Cook was the underdog, I thought he was the deserved winner weeks ago. I understand the Archie thing with the young kids (flashbacks of the screaming/crying Sanjaya fan) however, I was pretty sure there were enough of us over 20-year olds, and in my case over 30-year olds voting for DC! He won by 12 million votes, that's incredible, I'm so happy I voted, I could only get through 11.2 million times, but it looks like it paid off!
